Gorsefeather looked at Lilypelt and sighed. Then he heard Flickerkit's voice and smiled. He looked down at his son, then at Lilypelt. "I had to come see you before I left, I couldn't bare it if I left without saying goodbye to this wonderful family we have built together." He mewed. Gorsefeather bent down to give Flickerkit a good lick on the ear. "Be good for your mother and siblings while I'm gone, OK?" He meowed to Flickerkit. The calico tom sat down on his haunches and began to clean his fur.

Flickerkit tilted his head a little in confusion. Why would his father be saying such things? Then it struck the little kit. Of course! Gorsefeather was going away again, he was merely putting his family's thoughts to rest. He would be safe wherever he ended up. Perhaps Flickerkit himself would go and visit when he became a warrior, it didn't seem unlikely as the clan knew exactly whose kits he was. He'd never be fully welcomed into Windclan and bicolored kit had already accepted it. Nodding a little to his father, he agreed silently to his words, reaching upwards to greet Gorsefeather's lick before he settled back down, pressed up against Lilypelt. His small paws were tucked under him and his bicolored hues flicking between the both of them as they interacted.

Phantomkit let out a surprised yelp as somebody yowled and tackled her. She struggled underneath the older kit. “No fair!” the kit protested, kicking at his belly with claws sheathed. She hadn't been expecting it, and it'd startled her quite a bit. Phantomkit realized it was Charredkit, who was now laughing. It's not funny! She thought, still trying to squirm out from under him.

Charredkit meowed in pain as Phantomkit kicked at his stomach. Ow! It was just a joke! His eyes narrowed and his chest bubbled with anger. "Can't you take a joke!" Charredkit hissed as he leaped off of Phantomkit. "Great StarClan don't you know how to play?" He snarled.

Phantomkit let out a faint hiss, her eyes still wide. “You startled me. That's all.” Phantomkit muttered defensively, fluffing up her fur slightly. She would've told him she was sorry for kicking him, but was too stubborn to do that. She sort of wanted to do something tricky to somebody, or sneak out of camp, but didn't want Charredkit to tell on her, so she pushed those thoughts away. “Do you want me to play?” she asked quietly, her eyes gleaming mischievously as she looked at the slightly older tom-kit.

Phantomkit returned his stare, her icy gaze calm. “I suppose you're right about one thing.” she muttered, flicking her ears, then sitting back and raising one paw. She looked up at Charredkit, her ears back. I did not kill the mood. She thought dryly, lashing her tail. She didn't really know what to do at this point, and uncertainty lingered in her hues, though Phantomkit tried to hide it. “I'm sorry I "killed the mood".” she grumbled at last, though she only half meany it, and was very reluctant to say it.

Sagewhisker skipped along the well-trodden path. She looked up at the blue sky above and smiled. She breathed in the clear air and sighed. It smells so much better, now that the evil leaders are gone. Her eyes widened as she took in the fresh, cool air. Sagewhisker sat down on her haunches and began to rasp at her fur, and began to think about her journey she had with Mapledash.

Blazingstorm had just left the camp, following a route that had been walked for many generations. Although as he hit the open moor, his head was raised proudly as he let the cold winter wind hit his fur. He was thankful for his thick pelt this time of year, it kept him rather warm while others suffered. The ginger tabby took a few paces more, listening to the crunch of snow beneath his paws and even batting at the snow playfully here and there. Blazingstorm continued to walk, hitting the center of the moor before he paused, a familiar scent drifting to his scent glands, it was Sagewhisker, although just as he was about to seek her out a familiar brown pelt took a few paces in the corner of his eye. His golden hues shifted and his body turned, tense. A hare! As much as he wanted to greet his friend, it was leaf-bare, the clan needed food.
