Re: WindClan Clearing
@ Puddletail
She winced as the thorn tugged, then she chirped a reply; ¨Sure, I can tell you plenty, but first, the thorn seems to have come loose, maybe if we used moss to slick it out.¨ She took moss in her jaws, slicking the thorn, then she tugged out the thorn, and it quickly started to bleed all over. Her fur puffed at the blood, and she searched for something to stop the bloodloss. ¨Er-¨

Re: WindClan Clearing
As she casually put her paw in the moss to stop the bleeding, she mewed, ¨Sure, I can show you around!¨ The kit seemed to have a strangely high pain tolerance, where normal kittypets and loner kits would cry.

Re: WindClan Clearing
Puddlekit was worried about Dawnkit's paw. There was a lot of blood that came out when the thorn was removed. What if she lost too much blood and died? He began to fret, imagining the worst possible outcomes. No, he thought. I have to think logically. The wound isn't that big, I'm just overreacting. Once he calmed himself down, the russet tom replied to Dawnkit's offer. "Thank you, but first we have to stop your paw from bleeding. Maybe if you wash it with your tongue it will stop?" The young tom didn't know anything about healing wounds. He just hoped that this would work and Dawnkit would be okay.

The moors we're always a good place to be and especially now. "I was named after this. This breeze that runs through the moor and carries itself so wild and pridefully. There is a reason why I love this place so much." With that he started on the trek up the hills that made the moors such a special place. Windclanners thrived in these hills, their strength being their ability to move up and over the hills at a greater speed than the other clans and this proved true when he started out at a slow jog. Daisybloom was keeping up but the strain it was putting on her body, this run over the hills. When a familiar smell hit his nose he stopped immediately. Rabbit. They were lucky. Gesturing to Daisybloom as she caught up with him he pointed up over the hill with his tail. "There is a clear smell of rabbit coming directly from over there. I'll try to catch it, it'll probably be one of our few chances for such a large prey to add to the freshkill pile." With that he crouched low before picking up speed. He knew he had to get somewhere close in order to be able to catch up with the rabbit's speed. The smell became more and more apparent and he then spotted it's ears. It was right there, a fox length or two in front of him. With as much explosive power he could use, he speed up and soon it was a chase. A damn good one. He felt the wind and had his neck stretched out his legs eating up ground as he closed in on the rabbit and with a turn over the ridge he managed to get his paws around it. He did however loose his balance and with the dead rabbit he rolled quite a few times. Looking back to Daisybloom he walked over there, a spring in his step, the feeling of the chase had yet to leave his body. "One rabbit caught. We could probably continue further north but I am not sure." With that he laid down on the group, catching his breath for a few short moments.

There was still the over hanging feeling of unease as Daisy followed the Windclan warrior towards the open land of their territory. She looked up into the clear, bright sky and the clouds that sent rolling shadows across their land. The breeze carried the scents of cats and grass and prey she was unfamiliar with; even the scent of coyote still. But that one would fade next rain fall.
Breezefeather seemed to stand up straighter as they climbed the hills. He gained a strength and familiarity Daisybloom was sure she held under the cover of trees and looming darkness. At the top of the hill, he spoke and she listened and could believe it. The wind here was so strong and it shifted constantly.
And then the run. Or, it felt like a run, many tail-lengths ahead of her Breezefeather seemed to barely break a sweat. But the hills and flat lands worked the she-cats legs in ways she was unfamiliar with. For just a moment though, as she looked up again as she ran, at the sky, the wind brushing her fur flatter she almost wondered if this was what birds felt like. The wonder and her own exhaustion left her breathless as she stumbled to slow her steps on Breezefeathers command.
Rabbit. She's had one before, on the off chance they wandered into the pine forest. It usually took two cats to out smart one, or one cat fast enough to catch it off guard. They were hard to hunt, their ear so sensitive to every little sound. Daisybloom looked at her guide with curiosity, but Windclan hunted them all the time and this was the first time she'd see it. The warrior's green eyes seemed to glitter in her excitement to see. And then he was off. As fast as a rabbit and Daisybloom couldn't help but watch wide eyed, her feet shuffling in building excitement at the sheer speed he could run that was surely as fast as every other Windclan cat--but still. It was amazing!
He caught up with the rabbit and took it down as fluidly as any well trained hunter in the pine forest waiting for the right moment to strike at a crow or lizard. She perked up as he stumbled slightly, but there he was, dragging the prey up to where he'd left her and she could feel the grin break across her face before she felt her voice come back to her. Because that was amazing, he was amazing.
"Breezefeather! That was--that was amazing!" for lack of better words. "I never knew windclan cats were so fast, and you just pounced on that rab--BIT--" as soon as she got to her paws to meet the tom halfway the forest cat was stumbling tail over head down the hill with a startled yowl. Tumbling well past Breezefeather himself and into a stone jutting out from the ground. She found herself with a definite headache with her back paws in the air and her back up against the rock. She was upside down and confused as she blinked the stunned blurriness from her vision and trying to figure out what just happened.

Re: WindClan Clearing
It felt... Strange, to say the least, to be standing in WindClan camp. As Nettlespark looks around, he feels amazement at the state of their home. It was clear that coyotes ravaged it, but there was an effort made at at least forming what might have once been dens again. Those fish-eaters sure did love to stick their noses in everyone's business. But... Without them, surely WindClan would have been homeless for quite some time. The ShadowClan warrior wonders if they'd have helped their neighbors more than Icestar had already permitted. Probably not. Not that it really was their fault that the coyotes attacked, nor was it up to them anymore to try and fix anything. Their repentance was granting them stay in the Waterbarn, and that was all.
While standing there looking around, he finds himself wondering... Where did Deadpool go? The recovering she-cat wasn't really his charge anymore, seeing as they were in her territory now rather than his, but she seemed sweet. She seemed... To be with Whiskernose right now. The tom narrows his eyes as his Clanmate speaks to her, and before he knew it, his legs carry him to the pair. "Whiskernose," the tom says gruffly. "We're not here to fraternize with WindClan, we're here because our deputy sent us to aid them. Are you doing anything productive right now?" Nettlespark couldn't help the slight note of aggression in his tone as he questioned his Clanmate. But it irritated him- Whiskernose didn't even know Deadpool! Stars above, where was this coming from? "We're going to go hunting, Whiskernose, if that doesn't interfere with your... Plans?" Looking between the other tom and Deadpool, Nettlespark almost wished he could just have bit his tongue and disappeared. He didn't need to be going and forming friendships with anyone in any Clan outside of his own, and what did he care if Whiskernose did?

As her Clan returns home, to their tattered, tired old ruin of a home, Elderpaw feels a sense of pride welling up within her again. It replaces the pain in her paw, and the dull ache in her head, and pastes a slight smile upon her lips as she looks around. She'd take immense joy in rebuilding this place, she truly would... But only once her paw was better! It felt a little irresponsible to have avoided any sort of healing, but her Clanmates were worse for wear, and a little bit of pain never hurt anybody...!
Watching Batglare, the apprentice's smile slowly fades, and she splits away from her Clanmates so that she could go off and sit someplace quiet, laying down on her flank and resting her head on her front arms.

Re: WindClan Clearing
@ Puddletail
¨I am ok, honest-¨ She squeaked. She lifted her paw to lick it, but stuck out her tongue at the taste of the blood and wound. ¨Yuck!¨ She squeaked. But well enough, the blood stopped. ¨Phew, that feels a lot better.¨ The cream kit stretched, still holding up her paw, and flicked her tail signally Puddlekit to follow. Puddlekit is pretty cool! ¨I will show you the nursery next, and then the Breezerock if you like!¨ He is pretty fun..

Re: WindClan Clearing
Puddlekit was surprised with how quickly Dawnkit recovered from her pain, but he followed the she-kit as she led him towards the nursery. "I've already seen the Breezerock," he mewed. "That's where I met Twilightstar and joined the clan." The young kit gazed all around the camp with round eyes, wondering what each den was for. There's so much to explore!

Re: WindClan Medicine Cat's Den
[~] @ wren; [~]
Streamfeather padded up to the medicine den, wanting to see if Coyotesnarl was doing alright. The molly entered right inside the den and looked around. "Coyotensarl?", called Streamfeather. The black and white molly sat there waiting patiently for the medicine cat. He must be busy with patients.

Streamfeather was inside the camp looking around at the damage that had been done. Oh how she hated the coyotes. She had just rejoined her clan when they attacked which was horrible, but she made it out didn't she? Streamfeather looked at a couple of kits that were playing and it remind her of her own kit. She wished she could talk to her daughter now and tell her how sorry she was, but now she wouldn't get to do that. Streamfeather heard that she had left Windclan and it made her feel like it was all her fault.

Windykit was also sitting in the clearing. Her eyes looked around at the camp and the other cats nearby. It looked horrible and he couldn't believe this was his clans camp. The small kitten noticed Streamfeather over by herself. He had heard about this she-cat. Some bad, but some good. Windykit had heard that she had changed though, so he was going to go up to her. The little Tom kit padded over to her. "Hello Streamfeather." , meowed Windykit.
