Condorpaw was feeling quite bitter today. From seeing his sister having a good time with other cats and his own strange experience of apprenticehood so far - he was actually feeling... quite lonely. The one cat who didn't treat him like a baby was gone.. and Sweetpaw looked busy... and he was pretty sure Eaglespark didn't even know what emotion was. The apprentice sucked in a long breath, exhaling with a slight growl. It was trouble time. If there was one thing that always got him attention - it was trouble.

With a firm gaze fixated on the entrance of camp, Condorpaw decided against leaving, instead opting to cause some havoc in camp. Jumping to his paws, Condor quickly raced around, aiming to leap on the first unwilling victim of his chaos.

Satisfaction surged through his body as he managed to land on the other feline, a cocky grin plastered across his face as Chillhop would turn to look at him. Baring his teeth slightly, the apprentice managed to slip off his back - due to all that shaking - landing on the ground with an "Oomph!"

"Hey!" He yowled, shooting the tom a glare, "That wasn't fair! Come on, let's fight! I want to practice!" Dropping into a sloppy hunters crouch, Condorpaw's eyes glinted with mischief as he waited to see what Chillhop would do.

Her brow quirked. This kit was ready to become an apprentice already, she didn't need to lie about the age. In all honestly, she didn't care about their age. Did anyone else care about age? She didn't. If they were ready, then they were ready. That's all.
With a blink, Duskstar said, "Okay. Was that all you wanted?"

Duskstar stared at him for multiple moments before nodding. "Alright. I suppose some prey would be nice, she mewed. Her hazel eyes were glued to Rainywhisker, watching him closely. She wasn't used to anyone acting like this. Why was he worried? There was nothing to worry about. She was just a little sick, that's all. Yeah. Nothing to worry about. She was fine. A perfectly healthy leader.

Perfectly healthy. The Clan didn't need to worry about her. She didn't want them to worry about her. She wanted them to worry about themselves, about the Clan in whole!

She didn't want to talk about it. Especially not to Buckbranch. No way. Never. Nuh-uh.

Her eyes narrowed and her face fell into a frown. Why should she trust him with any personal feelings? He could easily be traitorous. Once a traitor, always a traitor. Duskstar didn't trust him. Not one bit. Her mouth would remain closed, expression making it clear that she wasn't going to spill.

As Darkcloud approached, the scent of RiverClan and ShadowClan oozing from her and into the den, Duskstar leaped to her paws with narrowed eyes. "What is it, Darkcloud? What's wrong? Are we under attack?" Her tail lashed and she unsheathed her claws, ready to fend off any attackers.

The kit's entrance brought annoyance to Duskstar's face, looking up at them with a frown. She had been resting before they entered, and honestly, she didn't feel like getting up just to give them their blunt answer. They weren't ready.

"No. You need to be patient. You'll become an apprentice when you're ready. Go back to the nursery."
