Re: ThunderClan Clearing
~ Sparrowflight ~
Emberpaw and Duskpaw huh? Well, since she had already had Ridgeclaw point out some of the problem spots in his den this should run relatively smoothly.
"Alright you two, meet me in the Elder's den and we'll get started," she called out towards Emberpaw and Duskpaw. "Don't wanna keep Ridgeclaw chilly or else I fear for the safety of everyone in this camp."
It was half a joke, but she was somewhat worried about her mentor these days. She had been so busy recently that she hadn't been able to spend as much time with him as she would have liked. So, with a flick of her tail the tan warrior padded her way over to her assigned den and waited for her partners.

~ Mistpaw ~
She was... helping to make a whole new den??? And for prisoners no less... Would Lightningpelt end up in here?
Suddenly, she very much wanted to make this den. She would make it as uncomfy as possible while still functional and counting as a den.
Grey eyes flicked around to locate her sisters and Cornpaw. She hadn't interacted too much with the rather boisterous apprentice outside of occasionally crossing paths during training with their shared mentor and the centipede incident a few moons back. A shudder travelled down her spine as she remembered that chaotic night.
Skittering over to the side of the crowd, she waited for the other apprentices to join her. The shaking in her paws wasn't as bad as earlier now that she was moving about, but the jumpiness seemed set on burrowing itself deeper into her grey fur. Hopefully there wouldn't be anymore centipedes...

Re: ThunderClan Apprentices' Den
"How about we say some stuff about our self's? Or not... that may sound kinda stupid and sappy so umm we don't REALLY have to do THAT right he he." she looked down nervously hating herself on the inside and in her head yelling YOUR NEVER GONNA MAKE FRIENDS THAT WAY! BE COOL GOLDEN'PAW! and was fighting back swatting herself with her paw. @ Beetle @ Firebender

Re: ThunderClan Clearing
--> Rainpaw
[ @Jayvines @sid @poppy. ]
A new den...? That sounded good! Rainpaw joined Mistpaw, wondering when Cornpaw and Cloudypaw would arrive. They'd have to come up with something really cool that maybe made the prisoners think twice about their decisions. Lightningpelt and Firebird were both mouse-brains who deserved to be locked up for the rest of their lives, but that simply wasn't enough to teach them a lesson. She grinned slyly. "Let's make them suffer for what they did. This den cannot be comfortable or anything. Wait wait wait, Cornpaw, didn't you say something about centipedes? What if some of them accidentally run free?"
She glanced at Mistpaw. Her sister was pretty anxious at times and Rainpaw wasn't sure if she wanted to let centipedes run free, but surely she'd understand that these prisoners should not get comfortable... right? Tilting her head she hoped that Cloudypaw and Cornpaw had heard her words too. Probably they were somewhere close. To be honest she was glad to be with other apprentices, and not amongst one of the warriors who basically did nothing for the clan. Some did, but most just started to step up now, and it was too late.

ThunderClan Prisoners' Den
Cornpaw, Cloudypaw, Mistpaw, and Rainpaw
have been assigned to make the dream of this
den's construction a reality.
Until this paradise for ThunderClan's prisoners is completed,
this den is inaccessible and should not be used.

Re: The Thunderwillow
Brightpaw [ they/she/he ]➢ As the tortie apprentice looked up at her mentor, she didn’t know what she was expecting to happen. Did they want the Thunderclan warrior to grovel and beg for forgiveness? Did they want a fight of some sort? Did they want a new teacher and to kick Nectarflame out of their life? Brightpaw still didn’t know, even as the bengal shecat began to speak. “I am deeply sorry to have wounded you.” At first, she didn’t want to believe it, deny it over and over again, but deep down, the youth was grateful, maybe even relieved to hear those words, but she did not admit that, no. Brightpaw, however, continued to listen to Nectarflame’s heartfelt words as the two of them met gazes. They were unable to describe the emotion that her green-hued eyes held, but the words regarding approval struck the slim apprentice deep within. Next, Nectarflame spoke of failing them and a crueler part of themselves wanted to remark ‘yeah, you did.’ but no, they stayed silent. This whole conversation was soft-spoken, personal, just between the two clanmates. Upon her mentor’s offer to make amends, to start over and try again, Brightpaw’s heart seemed to swell, that part of her that yearned for a good relationship with someone -- especially her own mentor -- wanting to immediately want to agree to that chance. They could be how a mentor and apprentice should be! They’d be able to train and Brightpaw could show the shecat all that they knew. They wanted that. More than they would ever admit out-loud.
Then, just like that, everything seemed to change. The next thing the slender tortoiseshell feline knew, Shiningskies was atop the Thunderwillow, talking of the fate of Necterflame -- whether or not she would be exiled or allowed to stay in their clan. Brightpaw’s eyes widened slightly, but knew they shouldn’t be surprised by this. Her mentor was the one who brought Shadowclan here and many cats were disgusted by this, so it was no shock that her actions would be put on trial. It was all a blur to the young apprentice. Various cats began to speak: Blackjaw, Bumblepaw, Jaystride, Cindersky, Cornpaw, Nettletongue… Cinderpaw. They watched as the Thunderclan apprentice jumped onto the Thunderwillow and then began to speak of execution. “NO!” Brightpaw blurted out, feeling tears come to her eyes as she sat there, her body frozen in place. That was all that she could manage to say though. No, no, no… Her vibrant green-hued eyes dropped to the ground as the whole clan seemed to erupt in debate over this. She was hardly able to focus on a single cat’s words. If anyone expected Brightpaw (or poor Zen) to react to every single damn thing that was happening, then she’d need a whole moon to process her thoughts and emotions on it. She tried, great Starclan, she tried so hard to focus on her own mentor’s words when Nectarflame began to speak for herself -- but no, it all sounded muffled, far away, incomprehensible. What was happening to them? They were finally able to have that bond with their mentor that they always wanted and now it was all gonna be taken away from her. Again! Why? What did Brightpaw do to deserve this constant cruelty? It wasn’t fair! None of it was fair! She wanted to go up there and throw Cinderpaw off of the Thunderwillow. Hatred bubbled inside of the tortie.
One sentence managed to get through to her brain. "...But if you kill her, you will have to kill me, too." It was Cindersky. Brightpaw looked up and over at the shecat after they spoke so boldly. Was it too late for the apprentice to speak up too? Probably, but it needed to be done. With shaky legs, the Thunderclan apprentice stood up and rose her eyes to look up at the Thunderwillow. Her lips peeled back into a snarl. “If you execute my mentor, you’ll have to get through me! You’ll have to kill me too!” She exclaimed with a hiss, her heart pounding in her chest. Brightpaw didn’t care what anyone else said. Nobody else mattered. If she were to die, then so be it. She had no friends, no family, nothing. All the tortie had was her mentor. It wasn’t much, but it could become something if they were given the chance. Brightpaw had nothing to lose except Nectarflame and she’d stand with her now. It was a foolish choice, surely, but they didn’t care. However, before anything more could occur, Sparrowflight spoke up. Firebird was to be dealt with first. Fine. Cats would gather on the left or right side of the clearing to voice their decision regarding this other cat’s crimes. Brightpaw glanced up at Nectarflame for a moment and then gave a weak smile. “I forgive you.” She meowed, “It’s probably the stupidest choice I’ve ever made, but hey, what else do I have going for me?” It seemed like a rather morbid joke, but what else could Brightpaw say about it? Heh. Maybe this would be her last day in Thunderclan… or alive, for that matter. But they didn’t care. She didn’t want to be in a clan that stooped to such a low anyway if they did. They gave a sigh and then walked over to the right side of the clearing. It seemed like an easy choice to make, but Brightpaw knew this was far from over now.
But they were ready.

Re: ThunderClan Leader's Den
// @SoldierRise, @Clock Dragonshifter, @AllSeer
>Buckbranch<Buckbranch led his team to the long-abandoned leaders' den, glad to be working with younger kids who might not be as stiff with this. A grimace twisted his muzzle as he popped his head in, and with a muttered, "Aw, crap," slipped the rest of the way inside. The floor of the medium-sized den had been completely torn up, faint mole scent tangible near the holes. The scent was still fresh - they'd been used recently. This was going to be a piece of work for sure.
He turned to Wishkit and Archkit and gave them both a warm smile. "Would you kids mind bundling up those old nests and taking it outside for me? Just to get it out of the way—it's old and dry and no use to anyone now. Don't trip over those holes." Long had the scent of their users faded.
Buckbranch then glanced at Sandsmoke, smile becoming more cordial. "And I'd really appreciate if you could help me sort out these holes." There were four of them, small but still large enough to twist an ankle if someone happened to stumble over them. "That dirt piled up around them should work to somewhat fill them in, but we might need to scrape some in from outside of camp."

Despite the cacophony of the meeting last night, it was good that cats were choosing to focus on repairing and rebuilding their home with such fervor (well, some of them looks like they had several thorns in their side but they had volunteered, no?)
With a nod to Jaystride (and a subtle look towards him to go easy on the missing kit - even though part of her knew he would) the senior warrior turned to locate Echosong and Bumblepaw. Her relationship with the young tom was... fragile, to say the least. But perhaps he was finally starting to see that even though a majority of ThunderClan had failed to uphold their past promises, she did not intend on doing do.
"I figure we can head out towards the outer stretches of the territory to see if there are any patches of land worth cultivating for materials," she explained once the two of them showed. Even though Jaystride had placed her at the head of this patrol, that did not mean she lead it. As far as she was concerned, the cats placed with her were on equal ground, so her blue eyes glanced to each of them to await their input before they left the camp.

>Bumblepaw<Thank the skies it was with Cindersky instead of some other warrior he was bound to snap at. Echosong he was unfamiliar with, so he'd leave her alone for the most part—but he definitely would have some good-natured jabs up his sleeves to hurl at Cindersky. His view of her had taken a slow turn since their training session and what she had said to him, and he'd come to view her as more than just another warrior who didn't bother to do squat.
"That's fine," he shrugged. "Maybe we could find some prey or something, too... willing to bet everyone needs kind of a pick-me up after... that." The meeting, he alluded to, thoughts flickering to Cinderpaw and away again. He swallowed.
