Jaggedclaw strode over to the fresh-kill pile and picked out a nice, juicy frog. He took it back to his den and devoured it.

Heather did her best to keep her paws off the ground as Daintybird carried her into ShadowClan, tucking her tail against her body so it wouldn't get stepped on or dragged in the mud. She thought it was a bit strange how she was half the size of her own mother, but she didn't want to be rude and ask about it. Perhaps she hit a growth spirt!

When they arrived, Heather's maw dropped in shock, eyes widening with wonder. Many cats crowded the area, huge ones, and the different scents made her nose work up a squeaky sneeze. "There sure are a lot of other cats here, Mama..." Heather mused quietly, "Will there be enough room for us?"

Once Honeypaw arrived, Falcondive rose to his paws. "I can see that! Let us jump right into it, shall we?"

Now he had to think for a moment on what he wanted to do.. "I want you to attack me. Try to pin me down." He lowered himself into a defensive stance. "Use whatever Shadequill taught you, and your instincts. I feel that may be easier to see where you are at than asking you what you learned."

Daintybird was puffing a little as she arrived in the clearing with the kit. Being away from ShadowClan had done a number on her, and endurance never was her best attribute, but her sapped energy was forgotten to inflate with pride. She had a kit! The Clan had to appreciate her bringing in new blood, young blood... trainable blood. And she was going to raise it: live in the nursery, eat the prey, soak up the sunrays, enjoy the praises of clanmates. "Yes," she agreed, "they are going to be your 'clanmates' in a moment. It's like a large family."

At her comment about their size, Daintybird hushed her, misinterpreting her innocent remark. "You shouldn't say things like that, they can't help being.. bigger," she told her through a whisper. "If they ask, we tell them 'beauty comes in all sizes, darling'."

She moved on from that to call, "Icestar, Beastspark?"

The large tom's ears shot up as hears his name called. Beastspark gathers his weight underneath him as he gets to his paws. His eyes land on Daintybird and his nose jerks at the strange scent that she brings with her. It took him a second to notice that she had someone with her. "Yes?" He questioned, walking towards the molly and the young cat at her side. Beastspark kept a respectable distance away from the kit since it looked to him Daintybird was somewhat attached to it. From the wonder in the little kit's eyes, he assumed the kit was more curious than fearful, still, it didn't hurt to keep his distances. "Who's that?" The deputy tail flickered his tail back and forth looking between Dainybird and the kit. He had a few other questions, though, kept his maw shut and perked his ears knowing that the warrior would give him an answer if he waited. It was kind of strange seeing Daintybird with a kit, she didn't seem like one of the cats who liked them....

"Ah, yes! Hello, Beastspark," Daintybird greeted cordially, using a paw to scoop the kit into her side to drive home the idea they were a pair now. "This is mine. Without me, she'd just be a poor, lonely kit out in the territory for any predator to nab--but I, Daintybird, have graciously accepted my responsibility to care for her. But.. to fulfill this duty adequately, I suppose I will become a queen to raise her in the ranks of ShadowClan." Daintybird's chest jutted with swelling pride, the perfect plan. "Now," she cleared her throat, "why don't you introduce yourself to the nice tom?"

"Bluekit wake up!"
Bluekit had heard this even though she was asleep.
Just then Bluekit felt something push on her. She woke up.
"Yay! You woke up!" They mewed.
She wanted to scold them for being so rude, but she didn't.
'It's my only brother' She thought 'Besides, It's not like I died' She reasured herself. She calmed down and looked at her sibling.
"Hi Treekit." She sighed.

Hollowkit was lying a few tail-lengths away from his mother, paws tucked beneath him. The kit was gazing off into the distance, quite like his Mother was at the moment.

I hope I make Mother proud.

Eventually, his eyes focused in on a pair of kits play-fighting, inches away from the entrance to the nursery. Hollowkit's ear twitched as they laughed, emitting little squeals of delight before tumbling further away.

Hmmm.

He made no move to join them.

"Okay." Honeypaw had done this type of thing once before. He knew when he leaped Falcondive would use his weight against him. Maybe if he put more force in his jump it would be harder for Falcondive to use it against him.
So he leaned back a little and then sprang at his mentor. He was hoping to aim straight for his chest to barrel him over. His front paws were outstretched and his tail was streaming out behind him.
