Ohhhh no. That wasn't how he thought it would go at all. Was she upset with him? He thought this was the best decision for the three of them! "I-I mean like... be his parents." Now he'd done it. If she wasn't mad before, she'd be furious now. Or heartbroken. Whatever came first.

Snailkit woke up from her peaceful nap. Finally, I think they’re done with their game. thought the tired kit. Unamused, the young kit hopped back in the game and started hurdling moss balls at Dawnkit, Puddlekit, and Basilkit.

Basilkit was easily knocked off her paws, but she didn’t care, she hopped right back up and swatted one of the mossballs at Puddlekit, aiming a bit better before sloppily swatting one at Dawnkit and Snailkit. This is fun, I can’t wait until I’m big enough to not get knocked over.

"Hm? Yeah.." Crescentmoon turned away, flattening her ears. Is there another she-cat he'd rather be with? Or tom? Can... can I be good enough? She stood up, plastering on a convincing smile. Crescentmoon lead her apprentice towards distant moors of the territory, her gaze blank. The events from earlier in the day still crowded her mind, and she had been losing track of everything. "So," She asked her apprentice, glancing helplessly at his bulky outline. "What were we going to do again?"

Wolftail cautiously followed behind the brownish calico, regretting literally everything he'd just said. She never really liked me, he realized. I better apologize for that. She cats... one minute they're snuggling into your chest, the next they're kicking dust up in your eyes. I hope we can still at least be friends...

Puddlekit was surprised by the sudden exchange of events between Crescentmoon and Wolftail. But he knew better than to stick his nose into their business and padded back to the nursery, hoping the other kits were still playing.

Chickadeepaw paused,” We are going to learn to fight coyotes! So I can help if they dare return.” He meowed knowing that wasn’t what Crescentmoon wanted to do, but hoping she forgot and would believe him.

Crescentmoon whirled around to face the tom, digging her claws into the ground. "Wh-what do you want?" She lashed her tail, feeling sad but quite annoyed with this strange behavior. Toms. One moment their snuggling with someone else, the next crawling back to your paws, begging for help.
