Everything happened so fast. One moment she was getting to her paws to follow Bumblestar, and the next Redhawk was turning around wide-eyed to stare at both Moontail and Sunglow (ignoring the guilt in her heart for the way this had all started with her getting involved). The back and forth was something she wasn't sure if she should insert herself into, especially since it was Bumblestar who got involved quickly. Despite the claws thrown, causing her fur to bristle, they didn't last long.

Just like Sunglow's life, too. Red forced herself to stifle the startled squeak in her throat, unwilling to let it come out. Her forelegs shook though at the sight of the body. Scarlet blood stained the clearing, and almost automatically the she-cat stood and pressed herself against Mudhound, then licked Foxpaw's ear. "Can you sss-stay with Mudhound, Foxpaw? I'll be right back." With a weak smile towards her apprentice, and a grateful glance towards the tripod, Red padded forward quickly, ignoring the blood that stained her fur (it didn't show against her same colored fur) as she ducked underneath Sunglow's body. Thankfully all of her late endurance training had been paying off - her legs only shook a bit under the weight of the deceased cat.

"I'll take her t-to the outskirts," she told Bumblestar, finally looking up to meet her leader's gaze. She understood, of course, why Sunglow had to be killed. ThunderClan needed to be protected. Maybe because it was in such close proximity is why she felt her stomach roll around the contents of her meal earlier. There was the briefest flash of uncertainty, before it was replaced with understanding. "I'll be quick, and come t-to your den after." There was that talk still, after all.

Readjusting the cats position on her back, Redhawk turned and headed out of the clearing.

Shrikehail couldn't say he was surprised by Bumblestar's reaction, but it did cause him to balk slightly, albeit only internally. He stepped back as the body dropped to the ground, and his usually impassive expression flickered for a moment.
I'm not going to argue that that was uncalled for, Sunglow was planning treason, but I don't have to like it, He decided.
Shrikehail lingered for a moment before he said aloud,
"Well, this situation seems to be handled," He said tersely, "I'll leave you to it."
He backed away from the situation, though he lingered nearby, as he wanted to see what was to happen.

The tom let out a snort as his new..."apprentice" made their way to him. Already giving off orders like he had any rights to. "Your name ends in paw. Therefor you'll be treated like a paw. Leave my side and you'll get elder tick duty. Don't listen? You'll be the one cleanin up dirtplace." he stated. Standing up as he made his way to the upoar that seemed to be happening.

"You lost your dignity as a Warrior the moment you did somethin stupid. You wanna act like a warrior? Earn it back. It's right not a privilege." he stated simply. A tilt of annoyance in his voice. Ears twitching as Bumblestar handled one, Sunshine or whatever her name was. Not something he needed to worry about unless the Leader bit off more than she could chew.

Instead focusing his attention on the one that seemed to be screaming. This one being handled by Bumblestar's close friend. Violetface. "Enough yellin. Explain what it is you were tryin to do." he said, his brows furrowed together in anger. "And maybe why we shouldn't. Not the first time I've become an orphan maker. Won't be the last."

"You got two seconds to make a good argument for yourself."

Moontail squirmed, panting. She had to consider her tones and words carefully. She looked around, and flattened her ears as she glimpsed gold fur lying still.
"I..." she stared. "I wanted my kits to be free from this death..."
She relaxed, laying her head limp, her voice was weak, but she remained calm. "Is peace across the clans an evil and too much to strive for?"

Acornpaw

Acornpaw looks to her mentor, her eyes shining with excitment, her first real battle!

"Mapledawn, Mapledawn, can we go? I wanna fight for Thunderclan too! It'll be so cool, please?" She asks, her expression of pure enthusiasm.

Then she sees Bumblestar, maybe she should ask her if she can participate too?

"Bumblestar! Can I fight too? I could really teach Riverclan a lesson!" The apprentice exclaims, apparently oblivious to the scene.

falling paw knew this might get him in trouble but it was worth it "What did you expect?" he said "There will always be war aand fighting and who said you had to join the battle?!" he hissed

Larkswoop's eyes widened as she witnessed the scene before her.

Bumblestar hitting Sunglow in the head then ripping out her throat.

The brown-and-white she-cat's ears fell flat against her head, and a choked cry of horror escaped from her.

What the hell was Bumblestar doing?

Larkswoop's respect for Bumblestar dropped right at that moment.

Yet Bumblestar hadn't been the only attacker. Violetfreckle had sank her claws into Moontail. A queen.

The ThunderClan warrior had to hold back a growl. She didn't want to end up like Sunglow.

Horror once again flashed through Larkswoop as the bloody scene replayed in her mind.

One thought - and one thought only - came to her.

Bumblestar was a cold-blooded monster.

Yet Larkswoop wouldn't tell that to the ThunderClan Leader's face.

I have to escape this Clan, Larkswoop thought, tail tip twitching. I cannot stay here. As much as I hate to admit it, Sunglow was right.

That thing.....Bumblestar... A shudder passed through Larkswoop's body as she imagined herself in Sunglow's paws, and she sank her claws into the soft earth beneath her.

She is a monster.

The she-cat then whipped around and faced Fallingpaw.

''Shut your mouth. This is no scene for an apprentice. Go to your den.''

Larkswoop wasn't playing. Her green gaze was fierce as she glared at the tom.
