@Goose, this cat does not have a name, nor a roleplayer. You can roleplay him if you'd like) Kestrelpaw looked around the cave she was in. She could not feel her hind legs. The medicine cat apprentice pulled herself weakly out of the water toward a small patch of light. There was a small hole in the ceiling, though it was covered with moss, and the little bit of light that was outside filtered in, tinting the cavern green. Kestrelpaw started licking her fur the wrong way, struggling to warm herself and regain feeling in her legs. She was shivering so hard she could hardly see straight and coughs racked her drenched body. Eventually, the shivvering slowed to small, quick spasms every now and then. Her legs buzzed with a tingling feeling, sharp pain shooting through them as the circulation began again. Kestrelpaw spotted a moss-covered area at the back of the cave and slowly crawled toward it, burying herself in the warm plant.

Kestrelpaw let go, she let herself cry. Just seeing her mother and siblings reminded her of the pain she'd felt all those moons ago, when they all died. She hadn't known how to speek then, and she hadn't even known their names. They were torn away too suddenly. Kestrelpaw wheezed as she coughed in hard bouts. Her throat and chest hurt. Greencough, she thought grimly, knowing that if she couldn't get catmint soon, she'd develope blackcough, or worse, die.

I could make a rogue or a loner that finds Kestrelpaw or just use my character Kinkpaw. Since of course the prophecy is yours then you choose.)
Cherrysplash sighed letting her tail fall down to her haunches " Silentstar was more than a friend to me Dapplesnow. He was the father of my kits." The she-cat knew that the truth would have eventually come up but never thought she would be telling the medicine cat. The elder unsheathed her claws and let out a growl " Starclan should not have allowed it! He barely even spoke to Ivorywhisker." She lashed her tail before shutting her eyes. Her daughter didn't even know the truth. Cerrysplash started to calm down before turning to Dapplesnow " I will always be at your side, until the end of Starclan." She dipped her head as a cough racked her body.

(It's not a prophecy, it's just a warning. I'm okay with either of them, but I guess her and Kinkpaw?)

Slowly, Kestrelpaw's temperature started to go back up, and she stopped shivering. Her fur was no longer soaked, but still damp. The medicine cat apprentice pulled herself out of the moss and ripped out the wet moss. She threw that out. The sound of the water gently lapping at the rock filled the cavern as she worked, slowly, broken up by fits of coughing. Kestrelpaw then made a small bed of moss that she could sleep on. Hunger gnawed at her stomach, but she did not see any prey around her. The reddish tabby she-cat curled up and closed her eyes to go to sleep.

Squeak? Kestrelpaw snapped her eyes open. There was a sound. She had heard it in the darkness.

Squeak? There it was again. She looked around and spotted the scource of the noise. A bat hung in the corner, wings unfolded, staring at her. All around it were other bats, tightly curled up in their wings.

Kestrelpaw started bird-calling, trying to get the animal to come down from the cieling. The bat dropped down and hovered for a second, before flitting around the room. Kestrelpaw stood up where she was and crouched, then leaped into the air to catch it. She succeeded, and quickly killed it so it would not alarm the others.

After eating the creature - it tasted like mouse - she laid back down to fall asleep.

Ok, It makes it simpler anyway with Kestrel and Kink. Mostly because I already have Kink.)
Kinkpaw flicked his tail, the queens, kits, and elders were all fine at the moment and all of the sick cats were hopefully being treated by Kestrelpaw and Dapplesnow. Once the rain had come down to a drizzle the tom slipped outside shaking the few drips of water from the cave ceiling out of his matted pelt. Kinkpaw glanced around searching for Kestrelpaw. The she-cat was no where to be found.
To his nature the tom wasn't about to ask anyone where the medicine cat apprentice had gone. Well I'm going to go on an adventures and find her! Without warning Kinkpaw started to pad along the swollen river's edge letting the water flow guide him to where ever Kestrelpaw might be since obviously there would likely be herbs on the river side.

A rock skittered over the mossy hole in the cieling of the cave. Kestrelpaw jolted awake, but stood too fast and her head spun. Coughs racked her worn body. Through her stuffy nose, she could only barely make out a familiar scent. "Kinkpaw?" She whispered through the darkness. "Kinkpaw!" She shouted when his scent grew stronger. But then it faded. He didn't hear her, or at least, she didn't think he did. Her throat hurt.

Can anybody hear me? I'm hidden underground. She thought, staring hopefully at the hole in the roof.

Can anybody hear me? Am I talking to myself? "Kinkpaw!" She called again, panic and desperation edging her voice as she realized he might be able to help her find the way out.

The bats on the cieling stirred at the noise, but did not move from their upside-down perches.

Kinkpaw lifted his ears as he heard a familiar voice. The apprentice turned around noticing the rock he had tripped over a few moments ago opening up to a hole. The tom darted over to the hole and yowled,"Kestrelpaw! Kestrelpaw is that you?" Urgently Kinkpaw knew some cat was down there and looked around trying to find a way in. The river must wash under the rock.

Kestrelpaw pricked her ears. He heard her! "Kinkpaw! Kinkpaw it's me! Kestrelpaw! I fell in the flood and the current washed me down here! I-" she broke of in a violent fit of coughing. When she could finally gasp in a wheezy breath, she lifted her head to the hole the rock made. "I need you to run back to the cave, or camp, or wherever the Clan is!" Her voice was hoarse, but she kept going. She had to. "I need you to find Dapplesnow, tell her I'm okay." Not for long, she thought. Shaking her head, Kestrelpaw continued, "But you also need to tell her I need catmint. She needs to give you this catmint, or-" another fit of coughing, "Or I'll- I'll-" she couldn’t say it. She didn't want to think about it.

It's not you time yet... her mother's voice whispered in her ear.

"Just get the catmint and bring it back. Drop it down the hole!" The medicine cat apprentice hoped Kinkpaw could hear what she was saying. If he didn't... well...

No, Kestrelpaw. He'll hear you! He has to! Yet doubt still gnawed at the edges of the she-cat's mind.

(Have him only be able to bring her a little catmint. Not enough to cure her, but enough to keep her alive. @Goose @Wolf )

Kinkpaw felt worry gnaw at the edge of his belly as Kestrelpaw spoke. She can't die! "Will do!" he yowl;ed dashing along the slope his tail flying behind him like a branch in a storm. Kestrelpaw won't die. Kestrelpaw won't die. He repeated in his head before he reached Dapplesnow "Need... catmint...now!" He panted staring at the medicine cat hopefully.
Cherrysplash turned her head staring at Kinkpaw. What would he need catmint for? She definately didn't expect the tom wanted to become a medicine cat so she guessed he needed it for Gingerfall or one of the she-cat's kits. Either way the elder said nothing before letting out a rasped cough.

Kestrelpaw nearly let out a sigh of relief as Kinkpaw raced away to get the catmint, but then tensed as coughs racked her body again. Please hurry! she thought desperately. Please, Dapplenose, give him the catmint!
