The molly felt something whack her back leg and she turned to see who it was. The scent of a kit filled the air and she followed it. A hiss of irritation turned to a snarl as she caught sight of the little nuisance hiding. "You shouldn't let your kit run around and whack clanmates with sticks"

Asterkit's ears twitched when he heard Chickadeekit and Swiftkit were getting apprenticeship. He was some envy, but he was still happy for them.

Berrybounce trained her yellow-green orbs on the jutting piece of rock, features forming a soft smile at Dawny's announcements. Oh! Her dear Wolfy was here. A long purr vibrated in her throat as she pressed her maw to his own. Leaning against him, she repeated his words dazedly. "Right...yeah...listening ears. Listen, listen, listen!" Was it possible for her to feel oozier when he spoke?

An irritated growl interrupted her oozy state. Lifting her head, she spotted the angry eyes of a junior warrior and the tiny mischievous slits of her Greykit's. Amusement bubbled through her in a large fountain. She had to muffle a laugh before grinning at the furious tom.
"He's just playing. He likes sticks and rainbows like me. Oh! I saw a very pretty one the other day. I could take you to see it, if you'd like. I'm sure it stayed like a good rainbow would. Where was I? Right!" She chirped, turning a solemn gaze to her cheeky kit. "Grey bean, say sorry to Mister Warrior or else there will be no sticks or rainbows or huge, yummy mice for you. Ever."

Look at them, all smiley and happy. She needed hardened fighters, not innocent babies. As she looked out to the warriors, Dawnstar highly doubts any of these pawns could turn these kits into the warriors ShadowClan needed. Unfortunately, Dawnstar had to much on her plate to think about taking on any apprentices. She was just going to have to toss this impression little kits at a warrior and hope for the best. Things would get better once she weeded out the weaklings and the rats.

"From this day on, until you receive your warrior names, you will be known as Chickadeepaw[ @Daunting Drago0n ]and Swiftpaw." Dawnstar lowered her head at the two apprentices before looking around the crowd.

"Berrybounce [ @Moon Lily ], control your kits. If they can't sit still and listen or at least chat quietly, then take them back to the nursery." Dawnstar was not in the mood for stupid spawn interrupting her. The queen should control her nonsensical chatter, it would be unfortunate if she suddenly lost her tongue.

"Now then Thornscratch [ @Lynxpaw ]," The leader's eyes glared in the she-cat direction. "You will be given Chickedeepaw to train, your first apprentice, don't disappoint me." Whether these youngest turn into successful warriors or not would allow Dawnstar to see how devoted warriors were to ShadowClan.

"Ghosttail [ @~Stealth~ ], you seem rather enthusiastic. You can mentor Swiftpaw." Only time would tell whether these cats had the stuff to remain in ShadowClan.

"Finpaw [ @Finpaw ], Peacepaw [ @Elementals ], Russetpaw [ @Lynxpaw ], Sunpaw [ @RussetShade ], Sparrowpaw [ @Goldenmac ] Shriekpaw [ @Rani ], Cloudpaw [ @Neon Lights ], Freezepaw [ @RedHead ], Darkpaw [ @Stardustt ], Fallowpaw [ @KITSU. ] Shrewpaw [ @gs29513 ], Frogpaw [ @wnder ], Stempaw [ @Zesty Mango ] and Lightningpaw [ @KingJotan ]. I've no clue where they are, but you all somehow managed to lose your mentors. I won't have you all running around with heads up your asses, so you'll be getting new mentors." The loud tap of one long curved claw against the Shadowledge indicated that she was not happy with all of these apprentices roaming around without training.

"Should any of you find yourself without a mentor or not satisfied with the one I'm giving you, inform me. I'll find you a new one." It was the warriors' jobs to teach these hairballs, this is why ShadowClan was lacking warriors and falling behind the other clans.

"Stonefang [ @Redtalon ], you're with Finpaw."

"Fallenheart [ @bmkmb ] with Peacepaw."

"Sparklight [ @Evie ], and Russetpaw."

"Scorchstrike [ @ChillCat ], Sunpaw."

"Foggybrook, you've got Sparrowpaw."

"Windstrike [ @Pepperkins ], with Shriekpaw."

"Forestfrost [ @StealthWarrior ], Cloudpaw."

"Gleampelt, I want you with Freezepaw."

"Hawkclaw [ @Monster under the bed ] you'll train Darkpaw."

"Dogsnarl [ @Beau ], Fallowpaw."

"Silvermist [ @~dust~ ] and Shrewpaw."

"Lynxdust, you get Frogpaw."

"Lightbubble you're with Stempaw."

"Finally, Fawnwhisper [ @Dart (The Nightlight) ] you have Lightningpaw."

Dawnstar allowed all the cats to get situated, there was no point in talking over them as they were getting aquatinted.

"I'm expecting these apprentices to be trained, do not slack off like their former mentors."

Darkpaw heard what Dawnstar had said. A new mentor? But she liked Blackie as her mentor.. well, she would be fine. Right? Hawkclaw had a.. somewhat intimidating name, but that was fine.
