Treestep nods in approval. "That's very good. Now it may be easier to put all four paws closer together..." Treestep went on speaking about better technique, hoping Blizzardpaw wasn't getting too bored. "Alright, we have time for one more lesson. Would you rather learn about some fighting moves, or different types of prey and how to catch them easiest?" Treestep asked. Treestep looked around at the paw prints in the soil, and claw marks. He was happy to see the little progress Blizzardpaw was making already.

Blizzardpaw was pleased Treestep approved of it. He nodded as he talked about better techniques, it was good to know different tactics, but it was kinda boring to listen, which made Blizzardpaw want to yawn. "Since we were talking about hunting, then prey, and how to catch them." He decided quickly. "Hunting is very important anyways, right?" He turned his head to look at his mentor, Am I right?

Fawnpaw followed redpaw out into the clearing, the chilly air hitting her in the face. "I don't know how we are going to find anything " she mumbled

Treestep nodded. "Yes Blizzardpaw, hunting is very important. If us clan cats didn't know how to hunt, we would never survive in the forest. But thankfully, we have loyal cats in Shadowclan that hunt, and you will be a great hunter in no time. Now, how about we just move onto a fighting skill. You must be hungry, and you look a bit bored. Just remember that I will be going a lot harder on you next session. Let's start." Treestep lectures. Treestep backs to the corner of the grounds, setting up a perfect stance. Suddenly, he gets up and looks at Blizzardpaw. "I have a better idea," Treestep nudges some sand and dirt into a pile near the center, and heads back to the corner. "I will demonstrate where to land in the fighting more easy. Pretend that lump of dirt is a cat attacking you, crouching down. In this fighting move, try to land on the back of the enemy, while still not pouncing too high. If you do, you probably will land slower and the enemy has a better chance to get away." Treestep positions him self low to the ground, and pounces across the soil. His sheathed claws land in the center of the "cats" back, and the sand and dirt flatten out into the ground. "Just like that, Blizzardpaw. You must position yourself in the air to make sure you front claws will make a blow to the cat." Treestep steps to over where Blizzardpaw is and lets him take his turn.

Blazepaw jumps to the side and leaps to tackle the apprentice "I refuse to be defeated!" he mewls playfully just as he did moons ago when he was just a kit

Sapphirepaw laughed and tried to dodge but was too slow, and tumbled over as Blaze landed on him. He laughed and pawed Blazepaw, smiling a bit flirtatiously. "Cheater." he growled playfully.

Redpaw felt occward," You kill it when you see it." he spotted an ant and killed it before he quickly killed it

"Oh, okay " fawnpaw murmered , sitting and waiting . she spotted a beetle of some sort and killed it before nudging it over to redpaw

Redpaw gulped it up and nervously looked at his scrawny pelt before killing some flying insect and ate it.
