Prowlingsun sighed with irritation at Sunchaser's ignorance. She wanted to smack him over the head, much like a mother would do with her foolish child,
but Wheatsong was in charge (much to Prowlingsun's disdain, but she would never admit that openly).

The bengal she-cat followed at Wheatsong's signal and helped him heard Sunchaser into the bushes. "What now?" she murmured to Wheatsong, attempting to be as quiet as possible.

Goldenclaw led the way, tail swinging slowly behind him. His annoyance was causing him a headache, which irritated him, which started the whole circle again, leaving him with a thudding headache. Still, might as well try to teach Mintpaw something today. "Here's our border with ThunderClan..."

Still reeling from the shock of the massive size of the creature before him, Sunchaser barely noticed as he was corralled into the nearby undergrowth. Moose were that big?? How?? And how were they going to escape it??

"We-we can't attack that thing, right? I mean... it'll stomp us! It would take us out!" Although the golden tabby attempted to remain calm his voice had a bit of a rising pitch to it as he continued to stare ahead at the moose, ears flat against his head.

Mintpaw sniffed around and looked at the land marks "got it, I've smelt enough of other clans to know what they smell like"

Goldenclaw rolled his eyes but didn’t question it. He really didn't wanna know. "Now, try to mark it by spraying. Think you can handle that, 'paw?"

Finally safe within the undergrowth with Sunchaser, the warrior let out a small huff of relief. His ears did twitch sensitively at the Sunchaser's raised voice, however. "The moose was not hostile towards us, so we have no reason to be hostile towards it." Wheatsong replied, voice still low and gentle, but assertive. "Keep your voice down and remain calm."

He watched the moose through the leaves with round, inquisitive eyes. The giant moose was grazing its way across the border and further into ShadowClan territory. It was still very close to where they needed to be, but it was technically out of the way now. Hmm.

Wheatsong looked back at Prowlingsun and Sunchaser. "We can either risk finishing the rest of the patrol with the moose nearby, or we leave now and report what happened."
