Re: WindClan Breezerock
Littlewish jigged his way over, his wounds feeling much better after a well deserved rest. Ah, how good he felt. He could almost say he felt lively, but he would be lying. After all, the only thing he had done since he had gotten back was...nothing. He felt fully in the dumps, and boy, was he throwing himself a pity party. Was this what a mid life crisis felt like? Wow, the elders did not joke around when they said that. OH, Starclan, was that back pain? Okay, now I'm overreacting. Sitting down by the grand rock, he smiled innocently up at Twilightstar.

Runningpaw came out with the other apprentices, her eyes darting across the clearing. So, it was just a regular meeting. Things were depressing around here, as always. Sending a wistful glance in Littlewish's direction, she nodded to her former mentor. Though he was a pain in the neck and often played the victim, she enjoyed his company. And she missed him, which was something she had never expected from herself. Shaking her head, she sat at the back with a few others, begging Twilightstar to just get on with it.

Re: WindClan - Joining or Rejoining
Felix stumbled through the grass her little claws catching on some grass occasionaly a few soft murmurs escaping her as she wandered aimlessly letting all the new scents hit his nose with a curious flick of her tail she had begun to sprint- or at least try to- with very little stamina she had

Heatherkit looked up as he Twilightstar came into the den. ¨I feel better then I did yesterday. But it still hurts a little,¨ he admitted. He looked at the ground. What if I´m not able to be an apprentice! ¨Twilightstar? Will I be able to be an apprentice after this...¨ He shifted on his paws, dreading that the answer would be no.

Re: WindClan Breezerock
( @ Socks )
( do you mind if Heathernose joins Duskmoth?)
Heathernose chuckled ruefully as she stepped out of the warrior’s den, which she’d only just entered. The molly didn’t mind too much- it was important to know the news of the clan, especially since nothing seemed to be going right for them. Besides, she could rest later. The tortoiseshell gingerly stepped around the clearing, looking for a good place to sit, when she noticed her brother. Purring quietly to herself, Heathernose hurried over to him and sat down by his side, bumping her jovially with her shoulder. “Hi, Dusk,” she purred, “what do you think this meeting’s about?”
-
Smolder- no, Smolder paw lingered to the side of the growing group of cats. He wasn’t sure if he was technically supposed to be here since he wasn’t really a clan cat yet. Or was he? He had the name, but he didn’t have the mentor. The ginger tom shrugged and finally took a seat towards the back, figuring Twilightstar wouldn’t kick him out for inserting himself into one of their clan meetings. Though, they were his clan meetings too now, right? He really had to get all of this clan stuff centered in his mind.

Re: WindClan Breezerock
Lupinegaze had wriggled away eagerly from her children at the call of the leader. She shook out her thick fur and sat quietly to hear the news, grooming her fur. It needed done so badly. She hated what all this time spent on her side was doing for her fur.

Re: WindClan Nursery
Lupinkit slowly dragged himself into the rather empty nursery. His first night back had been spent curled into Uncle Odds' arms in what remained of the warrior den but now he was here again; alone. Dim eyes searched the mounds of nesting material, hoping to spot his own bed of moss Uncle Odd had made, back when they first arrived, but no doubt it would've been torn apart to form other larger, more needed nests, or turned into a play ball. As if his spirits weren't crushed enough, his neck still stung from the sharp claws of the large buck rabbit who'd he had came face-to-butt with in the darkness of the warren tunnel.
Lupinkit climbed into the nearest nest - too big for a single kitten but better than the cold floor - to drown in his sorrows. Lupinkit didn't realise the comfortable nest actually belonged to a queen, none the less Mooselily.

Re: WindClan Territory
She smiled gently, looking down int Lupinkit's watering eyes. She wanted to take him home and comfort him but... she still hadn't caught anything. She sighed and stood, wiggling her shoulders before approaching the burrow. "Give me a minute and then we'll go back." She grinned and disappeared into the burrow. With a few squeaks and some scuffling noises, Monarch stuck her head out of the hole. She brought with her a decently sized rabbit, dragging it out of the burrow by its ears. "Alright, now let's go home." The poof thing probablt needed some prey and some rest.

Re: WindClan Breezerock
[Open for one cat!]
Aspenbreeze had been finally gotten comfy, her claws flexing into the soft turf beneath her. "Mmmm..." She purred, a rhythmic rumble pushing it's way up from her chest. Feeling the warm sun on her pelt again... The breeze buffeting her pelt every so often. This was home - not that musty claustrophobic barn.
At Twilight's call, Aspenbreeze simply turned an inquisitive gaze, staying in her spot. The warrior was feeling a bit weak - with a rumbling tummy and little energy. Perhaps she would treat herself to a meal today!
"Mm, about time. Glad to see Twilightstar up there again." She mumbled to herself, unaware if anyone else had heard.

The rabbitbrain probably sits on his rump all day and prays that StarClan would just bless us with food from the sky..." His chest puffed out as he spoke, releasing a hiss of frustration at the end of each sentence.
Focusing back on the task at paw, Coldsong hmmed at her suggestions. "I'd say finding some voles by the river will be our best bet. The rabbits have probably been all scared away by the whole coyote fiasco." Tasting the air to follow the scent of murky river water, the tom's own stomach growled in disappointment with his answer. His ears flattened sheepishly. "We can always keep an eye out for rabbits on the way there, though. Let's be cautious now."
Dropping into a hunters crouch, Coldsong wobbled a bit, bumping briefly against Aspenbreeze. He wasn't used to crouching like this without the balance of his tail. "Sorry." he apologized, pelt heating. "Didn't mean to..." He trailed off and cleared his throat. No point in explaining, the cobwebs were still on his stubby tail. Coldsong then added some distance between them and proceeded to approach the riverbank, low and steady.
|
Aspenbreeze groaned in agreement, rolling her eyes as Coldsong mentioned prey falling from the heavens. "As if." She snorted, "When was the last time you saw our deputy out on a hunting patrol himself?" Well.... Maybe Aspen was just talking out of her ass, but it felt good to finally have someone to rant to! She loved her clan to absolute bits, but the thought of squirrel-brain leading the clan one day... It sent shivers down her spine. Perhaps one day she'd think differently, but that day was not today!
"To the river then," She mumbled, following alongside Cold, her own frame crouched low to the ground. Ear perked in alert as she listened for any potential noise. Nothing so far. Though, when Coldsong bumped into her, it almost sent her sprawling away with surprise. Focusing too hard at any task would do that! Just as she was about to hiss with disapproval, the other warrior apologized. Rolling her eyes, Aspenbreeze tutted quietly to him, "No worrries.." As far as she knew, Coldsong had been tussling with horrible luck lately - mostly deduced from that pathetic stump of a tail. Eugh, she couldn't imagine losing her tail!
As the pair trekked closer to the river, Aspenbreeze perked up and nudged Coldsong gently, as not to throw him off balance. "You hear that?" She breathed quietly, nodding her head towards a small rock face by the shore of the river. Aspenbreeze could hear the scuffling of some tiny creature shifting pebbles. She waved her tail for Coldsong to follow her as she moved like a snake down the bank, stopping a few good tail-lengths away from the water. She wasn't about to take a dive in that. Turning back to look at her patrol partner, she popped him a questioning look,
"You want to catch this one?"

Re: WindClan Breezerock
Cedarfoot sighed and exited the warrior's den, still sore from the attacks. She scanned the area for a nice spot up near the Breezerock and found one, grinning and making her way over. She settled herself into a near pose and turned up to watch Twilightstar.
--
Paleheart heard Twilightstar's call and popped out of the Elder's den, ending her visit to Jaggedhawk early. She padded over and took a seat happily, tail straight up in the air and eyes locked on Twilightstar. She assumed the meeting was about the gathering or the fact that they were all home now, but maybe there was a chance for something fun!
