russetkit looked up and then got up thank you krestrelstar she said brining back her emotion. she glared at dustkit she could have handled it on her own but this was fine to. she was bleeding a lttle but was fine.

Was that attitude? "I don't appreciate the tone, Duskkit," he replied slowly, straightening himself up. Turning his attention to Russetkit now Kestrelstar leaned down to examine her ear. "It looks fine, just a nick is all," he sighed, using a paw to dab at the blood. The scratch didn't appear bad - nothing to bother Snakeheart over.

Looking back at both kits he narrowed his eyes. "If I hear one more insult fly," he said, looking at Russetkit, "or see one more unsheathed claw," swinging it back to Duskkit, "It'll be moons before either of you see your apprentice ceremony. Got it?" He had no patience to deal with this. This was a warning, the next would be punishment.

Yes Kestrelstar please don't make my cerriomny late {btw duskkit is 5 moons an d almost at his 6 in a few days like 3 more days)

Russetkit nodded yes krestrelstar she then started to make her way back to the nursery to find something else to do maybe catching more bugs!

"Keep your claws to yourself and I won't have to," Kestrelstar snapped at Duskkit before getting up and padding away. Stars, he'd need to have a talk with the queens about keeping an eye on the kits.

Oh how lovely the sun felt on her swollen belly, it was like she was a kit again herself, tucked against her mother's warm sun-soaked dark red fur. Fireflower lounged outside of the nursery, her eyes closed and dreaming of wildflower fields and soft prey. But her light snoring was interrupted by the sound of kits, and she lifted her head to observe Russetkit and Duskkit fighting. Amber eyes narrowed, but before the queen could heave herself to her paws, Kestrelstar stepped in.

He scolded the kits, who scampered past her and into the nursery and Fireflower would meow to him, "You handled that well," She commented. Kits needed to keep their claws sheathed; they had no need to use them, as far as Fireflower was concerned.

Hearing a voice from the entrance of the nursery, Kestrelstar swung his head around to see Fireflower. She was a rather feisty queen if he recalled correctly, so her remark drew a light-hearted scoff from him. "Tensions are already high with everyone outside of RiverClan, we don't need kits thinking that means they can start using their claws." he replied, looking past her to the nursery where the kits had scampered off to. Hopefully they would learn their lesson with that scolding - RiverClan couldn't afford to be holding kits back from their ceremonies, in turn delaying their warrior training.
