OH JEEZ HE WAS SO LATE.
Jaykit was actually just.. having fun in the nursery. Ignoring the loud yelling coming outside but, hearing Icestar mention his sister's name caught his attention. WHICH TURNS OUT. Frogkit was having her ceremony. Yet NO ONE bothered to tell him. NO ONE ever told him anything-- or maybe he just forgot. Jaykit assumed it was the first option. For his sake.

Jaykit scrambled to the crowd, frantically looking around for Frogkit. Frogkit. Frogkit-- How could he call himself a good brother if he missed out on her ceremony!? However, something much.. more demented caught his gaze. He came to a halt, staring wide-eyed at Shadedusk's body. Jaykit took a step back, oh. That explained. That explained on why.. everyone seemed so sad. He hadn't realized it but his body was trembling. He didn't want to see this. No. No. No. It put,, so many unwanted images in his head.

"W-Whoaa!" Duskpaw swayed back and forth with Sheeplight. Come on...you can do it." The small calico was not mentally prepared to claw her mentor but she had to do it or else she'll be 'punished'. Taking a deep breath the apprentice was about to swipe at her mentor's shoulder when she felt the world tilt to one side.
Sheeplight was trying to get her off from her back. But Duskpaw was too slow and fell alongside the older molly. The thing was that her claws here still out and she forgot to sheath them. So when Duskpaw slowly got up a gasp escaped the apprentice's mouth.

Sheeplight didn't even seem to notice. She turned around, opening her maw to speak to Duskpaw but. "Whatcha lookin so scared for?" She giggled, furrowing her brows. Her scarred leg carried Duskpaw's claw marks starting at her lower shoulder and ending at her ankle. Blood drippled down.

Sheeplight followed Duskpaw's gaze and stared at her wound. "Ah, " She mewed. She felt quite fine considering she did not have any feeling her legs. The only thing that stung was her shoulder. Had to get her shoulder. Ugh.. She lift her leg up, licking up the blood until it stopped bleeding. Luckily it wasn't that deep.

"Congratsss! I mean, I wasn't suspecting for you to go.. ALL OUT. That's fine, I didn't even think you had it in you. You can pick your reward after the training session, sound good? " Sheeplight praised, offering a smile.

Sheeplight let out a groan, rolling her shoulders awkwardly as she tried to get comfortable in her usual spot. Her head ached and she was so,, so tired. She rolled onto her back, staring up at the bright sky. On most days, Sheeplight would be fast asleep-- flourishing in the sunlight. However on today, it was an great annoyance. She closed her eyes in defeat. At least no one was bothering with her today. Course,, not.

The warrior was enjoying having her curls played with. Or maybe it was her being touch-starved. Either way, it caused her to yawn. At.. At this rate she was going to end up falling asleep.

Sheeplight shuddered at the mental image. If he had even dared try to do that, there would be another body added to the death count. She decided it was best not to voice those thoughts however. Cats always seemed to get.. touchy around the subject.

She let out a sigh of relief at the poultice, it felt weird but strangely calming. Irisflame really did do magic. An happy purr escaped her throat once the molly finished with the treatment to her shoulders. Sheeplight moved to stand back up properly so her side could get the magic-goo too. "Awwe, thank you...~!" She mewed, "Your tail is quite dazzling in itself, " Sheeplight replied, an small lopsided smiling growing on her face.

Irisflame smiled, dipping her head. She was quite proud of her full name- it suited her quite well. She gave a nose-boop back, eyes glittering with good cheer. She was in a good mood today.
"Thanks! But it's nowhere near as pretty as yours." She complimented back. By the looks of it, she was in a very good mood, then. She rarely offered compliments.

As she explained the grim situation, her happy streak dropped. All the way into the girls of the underworld. Ravenvine, the cute, kind warrior, was dead? Well, at least, she'd thought him kind from the way he spoke during clan meetings or just to cats around the clearing, really. Her gaze dropped to the black shape lying at the warrior's paws.
"I'll prepare him for the vigil. Poor guy. I'll check him for anything." She promised Daisybloom, eyes taking on a shadowed look. If he had been killed by another cat... Her eyes hardened. He didn't deserve this.
"Oh, I uh, have something for you. From a...lover." She mewed, trying to bring it up before she forgot.

The older she-cat seemed to enjoyed having her curly tufts of fur messed with and petted. She purred in amusement. It was like nothing she'd ever seen, such curls. And a cat that enjoyed being stroked. It was almost as if she was a kittypet. Or maybe it just reminded her of the days in the nursery. Or maybe she really did enjoy it. Who knew?

She looked disturbed at the mention of a squished tail. She wouldn't brig that up again. She looked shook. She was so great at socializing, wasn't she? She deserved a huge gold star, stuck in her for all eternity. It'll probably say 'I'm a loser'. She thought bitterly. She was 'the queen' when it came to social skills. By that, it was common that she brought something gruesome enough up to scare cats off, or snapped at them continually until they left.

Irisflame purred at her happy grin. She absolutely loved turning the biggest of frowns, into a good old smile. When she actually like the cat, of course. And this one she did. Shaking her head, she waved at paw modestly.
"Anytime! I'm always happy to help someone as darling as you." As the last comment exited the curly-furred warrior's mouth, she paused in shock. Her tail, stunning? She looked over at the stunted thing. It looked as if it had been broken in half and then twisted in the slightest bit. It was uglier than the Dark Forest, if you asked her.
"You think?" She mewed, chuckling.

Ambertail wrapped her tail around Ribbitkit and whispered, “Goodnight little one.”

Ambertail woke up and padded Ribbons in the side to try to wake him up. She then walked to the edge of the Elders den and stuck her head out to listen. “Wake up you little sleeper there is a meeting!” Ambertail meowed to Ribbitkit.

Shadedusks body smelled of death, his fur sodden and matted. His shoulders twitched, and he wasn't breathing.

Thornkit flinched when he saw the dead cat. Another dead. There had been a lot of injuries recently, and two deaths at least. He sighed. Things were getting worse and worse.

Ivykit looked up at the Highbranch anxiously. When am I going to find out my mentor?! she thought
