Puddlekit let out a small laugh at Basilkit's wrinkled face expression. "Don't worry," he mewed, reassuring the young kit. "We'll come back to visit you, and maybe even teach you some battle moves and hunting tricks. That way, when you do become an apprentice, you'll be ahead of everyone else."

He looked past Basilkit as he saw Heatherkit come out of the nursery. He waited for him to come join them, but watched as he chose to sit alone instead. He looks lonely. "Hey Heatherkit," he called to the ginger and brown tom. "Come and meet some of the other kits." He beckoned his tail for him to come sit with them.

Basilkit smiled,”Promise you’ll visit me?” she meowed not sure how long it would take for her to get close with Heatherkit.

Dovepelt looked at her new apprentice Mistpaw. "Yes we can after the clan meeting." She smiled and sat next to her apprentice.

Mistpaw curled her long tail around her paws, "of course." She mewed , a hint of disinterest in her voice at the thought of having to sit through a meeting that doesn't seem to be going anywhere worthwhile. She sighed and started grooming her sleek fur, not really paying attention to the meeting.

Puddlekit followed Heatherkit into the medicine cats den. His mind was racing. What had happened? Why did Heatherkit collapse again? Is he going to be okay? He shook away his worries. He had to focus on making sure his friend got better. "Hello? Coyotesnarl? There's something wrong with Heatherkit."

Wolftail held his head up high, his golden eyes sparkling with excitement. His white-tufted grey chest swelled with pride, but he kept that to a minimum as to respect his leader.

"Twilightstar?" He called as he entered the den. "I--" he glanced over at the beautiful brown calico [ @TeamRiverRipple ] at his side. "--we have something to ask you."

"We'll be fine," Wolftail reassured her. Golly, she was cute when she was shy. "As long as we keep our tails down, y'know, all respectful-like, she won't be upset. Twilightstar's awesome. Coldsong was floored by this cat's way of speech. He didn't have a single clue what Oddear was saying, but that didn't stop him from listening. "A triangle...?" Coldsong murmured, blinking in surprise when Oddear flashed a smile at him. He sheepishly returned a grin.

Though as the topic changed, Coldsong couldn't help but feel disappointed. He shrugged at the bland question, looking back at the sea though pensive eyes. "Eh, I could be doing better. Everything has changed so fast over the past few moons that I'm not quite sure who I am anymore...but it's kinda nice in a way? I don't know, it's also scary. Dunno what's gonna happen next, ya know?" His ears drooped as he deflated into a forlorn sigh. He'd never looked at the sea this long before...or much at all, really. It was nice...

Straightening himself, Coldsong turned back at Oddear with an apologetic expression. "I'm uh, kinda sick of the 'how are you doing' question, sorry. My specialty used to be pissin' cats off, but now I'm pretty good at bumming everyone out." He sort of chuckled at that. "The ocean is nice, though." Coldsong mused, hoping Oddear could talk about that instead.

Oddear let out a sigh he didnt even know he was holding in. He was relieved to know the idle chit-chat if small talk wasn't necessary with this Tom. "If you don't know who you are then take the opportunity to rewrite yourself," He said a little bluntly, "The only cat stopping you from changing the history of Cold song is yourself." Oddear offered a genuinely kind smile, taking the opportunity to gently boop his own long nose against Coldsongs's.

"The world is story and you are the main character, don't let the fates define how you end your adventure. Become the cat you desire! Even if that means perhaps resorting back to being a mean cat again," Pissing wasn't a nice word.... Odd had many strange words but he didn't fancy swearing himself, he would dig into the more socially acceptable vocabulary of his flamboyant mind and pick out words the other cat would understand; Oddear didnt want to scare Coldsong off just yet.

Twistedkit laughed. "Of course," she purred, looking back up at the rock where Twilightstar sat. @FuzzyRatto
