Flypaw immediately noticed Silverpaw sitting outside the apprentices den. It was a perfect opportunity to try to talk to someone else! She padded up and meowed quietly "Hello. Want to talk?"

To be fair, it wasn't one of the weirdest ways he'd been woken up. But this was definitely going on that very short list. The tom was seated near one of the outtermost sections of the clearing, head lobbing to the side as he fell asleep. How he managed to fall asleep sitting upright, no body knew. But here he was, blissfully unaware of his surroundings.

It was one of the scarier way's he'd been woken up, that's for sure. Letting out a startled chirp and scrambling to catch himself before falling, face below the chin of the culprit. Due to his shocked state and his "just woke up don't talk to me yet I don't know what time it is" nap, it took him longer than he'd like to admit, trying to process what exactly was....demanded? Demanded. What was demanded of him.

Trying to blink the sleepiness away, the russet feline swiveled his head to the side. The other had moved around so fast, it was amazing. "Erm...are we trading?" he asked sheepishly, not even bothering to fix his fur or pluck the leaves from it. He never minded the messiness, it was too much effort to fix anyways.

Wormbite felt a twinge of sympathy for his poor victim. He really didn't mean to pick a sleeping cat. He felt more regretful for not even realizing. He lean down while the cat recovered himself, offering his shoulder a few comforting licks of embarrassment.

"Yes, " He replied, squinting his eyes. This was how introductions often went, didn't it? "Wormbite. That is my name, can I have your's now?" Wormbite questioned, maybe this cat was just going to steal his name and run. Just like his father, haha. (He just realized this meant small talk had to happen after. This was a conversation he had just started. Maybe he could run away before he was roped in too far. )

Then a look of confusion came across his face. This cat had been.. sleeping? "Why were you sleeping?" Wormbite was pretty sure it wasn't time to sleep, was it? Maybe his light perception was off worse than he knew. "Are you old?" That would surely explain it.

Frostpaw frowned. "You're not very expressive," She huffed. Rosepaw was starting to get a little boring. "What suffix do you want?" She asked, still trying to get something out of Rosepaw.

Well, despite all his...less-than-redeeming qualities, Jackdawblaze was far from stupid. The deathberries probably would have killed his dumb clanmates because they tried to carry them in their mouths. Jackdawblaze would have to find a big old lily pad or leaf or something, and be wary about not letting them touch the tips where he'd carry it.

He snorted in amusement when Snakeheart talked about the Clan losing their wits when he tried to organize a patrol, and that was awfully rightful. Medicine Cats were overglorified babysitters of the injured; they weren't Warriors.

"I don't really care why you need them." Luckily, Jackdawblaze was tactful enough not to say the next part, which was that any RiverClan who handled deathberries stupidly probably deserved their death anyway. "If you really can't get them yourself, I'll do it for you."

Jackdawblaze was not one to do favors unless the outcome interested him. And--oh--it fascinated him indeed to think of how Snakeheart would use these deathberries.

It rapidly seemed like this interaction would become a snort off and Snakeheart let out his own huff of amusement at the idea that he couldnt get the berries for himself. He had before and would again, right now he just needed more berries than he could collect on his own. The clan couldnt know, only a few would understand the need to start fighting dirty and there was only a few he could trust to not screw this tactic up anyway. But by the grace of no ones work but his own Snakehearts tests had born fruit and it was time to begin.

Not here though, too many ears and eyes to raise a ruckus. It was time to head out into the territory. "We'll both be gathering together, I need a good number and if you screw up and need saving its more reasonable that Im there to actually do so. Come one we've some ground to cover Ive only ever found deathberry bushes in the Lionsrange." Maybe this would be a tolerable venture even, Jackdrawblaze hadnt drove him mad just yet.

Still they needed to move, Snakeheart was getting that itching feeling of being watched and he really didnt like it right now.
