Icestar was surprised. It wasn't often that elders return to warrior status. But this cat definitely looked able to fight just fine.
"If you think you can handle it, then by all means, you may return to warrior status." Icestar herself was nearly 50 moons, so that definitely wasn't too old to work.

Flintfreckle thought about how this would work. He knew he had to see how his apprentice was doing and both hunting and battle training, but how. He wasn't sure. He looked at the white apprentice curiously before flicking his tail towards the fresh kill pile. "You should eat before we head out. I want you to have all your strength since I'm not sure how long this will take." He said, squinting to look up at the sun. They didn't have long before sunhigh, and by the time they finished eating, sunhigh would have arrived. With a nod, he looked down and walked to the fresh-kill pile, grabbing a raven and beginning to eat.

Since there was no longer ceremonies in play, he questioned Icestar. "Are we allowed to kill Frostthorn on sight if he trespasses?"

"Yes. If you see Frostthorn, you have my permission to kill him."

Crystalkit flicked and retrieved the pinecone it was playing with while it was bored out of it's mind. "Maybe I should ask the elders to tell me a story.." Crystalkit said to itself.

Crystalkit poked its head out of the elder's den and watched Icestar summon his clan. "I hope I do get accepted into the clan" Crystalkit muttered while watching the clan leader looking like a king on the highbranch.

Frostpaw watched Flintfreckle pick out a raven from the fresh-kill pile - a raven. He knew two ravens and both of them died. Was it a sign?

The white apprentice took a vole from the pile and sat down beside Flintfreckle as he ate. It was quiet, but not uncomfortable - at least, not to Frostpaw. He was accustomed to being ignored and the silence that came with it, although he wondered whether or not Flintfreckle would try to make conversation. He was sure that the older tom wanted to get to know him.

Flintfreckle ate quietly as he thought about what to do. When he realized his apprentice was looking at him weirdly with the raven, he tilted his head questioningly and finished the bite of raven in his mouth. "What's up?" He asked curiously. Had he already done something wrong? Not trying to let awkward silence fill the rest of the meal, he couldn't resist asking. "What's your favorite prey? Is it raven? Is that why you were looking at me weirdly?" Excitement made the white-and-black splotched time ramble, and Flintfreckle hoped Frostpaw didn't mind. His tail-tip flicked but his eyes were bright with enthusiasm. Flintfreckle was almost as excited as a new apprentice.

Owlfeather smiled at the kit. What a kind heart she had, wanting to help her friend like that. She purred as she spoke.
"Well, you can always help her be confident by making sure she feels included. You know, playing games, being friends, that kind of thing can really help people's confidence. Just make sure she knows that she is loved."

Whitepaw heard the battle outside, making him bristle. His clan was in danger, but he barely had any fighting skills. It would be best for him to stay here and protect the Elders and Kits that were inside. He decided to act normal, starting to clean out the dry moss in Goosefur's nest with his claws.

Moonkit looked around, hearing the battling outside and looking scared. She looked for an elder who might be able to tell her a story until the battle was over
