Blackpaw nodded thoughtfully before dashing to the other side of his mentor and attempting to jump on his back.

Hornetsting turned sharply on his paws once Blackpaw landed, going to snap at him but he was unable to at the angle. "Good job! I'm going to use a counter move, I want you to do what you think will be the best reaction when I use this move, okay?"

Hornetsting dropped to the floor quickly, rolling over onto his side in an attempt to squash Blackpaw. "Make sure to jump off!" The large tom grunted as he did the roll.

Sparrowpaw suppressed a sympathetic - but false - smile. "Oh, you poor, poor thing," she cooed, her voice softening. "Thinking you're actually tough!" She sat back, stretching her jaws into a languid, tooth-revealing yawn. "It must suck, haha: knowing you're just a stupid, skinny and untrained apprentice."
