Wavecrash smiled. She enjoyed making people laugh or smile. It just made her feel good.

Meadowleaf looked at Cormorantstone, wondering if she should attempt to talk to the grey tabby she-cat. What's the worst she could do? We're clanmates, she shouldn't be mean to me unless I upset her. Meadowleaf hoped that Cormorantstone would want to talk to her, even though she knew that she probably wouldn't. Most cats didn't like how much energy and positivity she had most of the time. They had thought that she would never take anything seriously, but they hadn't stuck around long enough for them to get to know her. She looked at Cormorantstone without showing her feelings of sadness and disappointment that she knew might come. But maybe she will be different. Meadowleaf thought hopefully.

To be put very plainly, the grey tabby was not a very social or nice cat and wasn't one to normally strike up any sort of conversation unless she wanted to fight. So she was already trying to ignore Meadowleaf by lazily grooming herself, completely dejecting the other female's existence all together because truly, she did not feel up to conversing with anyone. But then she heard a voice coming from the direction that the other cat was in, her ear slowly swiveling and her tongue stopping mid-lick, her muzzle twitching before she slowly looked over.
Is she talking to me?
Her yellow eyes flashed with a mild form of anger, pupils narrowing at the orange and white she-cat before she spoke up.
"We haven't met. I've never even heard of you before." Cormorantstone's voice was like gravel, not at all like the smooth, angelic voice of most other she-cats. Her muscles rippled beneath her pelt as she shifted to fully face the other female, an aggressive look in her eye.
"You've heard of me before though. I'm the best female warrior in this clan, Cormorantstone."
There was a look in those yellow eyes that seemed to challenge the other to deny her the title of best female warrior in the clan, a challenge to her to deny that she has heard of her before even though it was very probable that she hasn't. I dare you. Her mind growled lowly, but she kept silent, waiting for Meadowleaf to respond.
