~Reedkit~
Reedkit purred at the mention of becoming leader then sighed and shook her head. Blinking towards Bravekit she smiled “I’m sure you have just as a fair chance though!”. At Bravekits next words a laugh came from her “yes! Here we come!”.
//sorry for such a late response!\\
bravekit shook xyr head. “i’m no clan-born, my chances are slim. who would want a loner-born as a leader?” bravekit had grown distracted by the injured cats that had entered the clearing earlier. “what happened to them?”
Laying in the sun, Redpaw seemed so depressed...
His usual.
The voices in his head were whispering to him loudly, but with everything he had in him, the apprentice ignored it.

Heading over, Silvercloud prodded Redpaw gently and sat beside him.
"I never got to thank you for saving me, did I? Again, I'm sorry for the show I put on... You seem sad... How about we go hunting to lift your spirits up?"
The tabby simply sat there for a moment, paw pressed to his chin as he gave the other a slightly worried look. After taking a few moments to think about his options he finally let out a nervous laugh. "Mkay, you can have my name...but what should my new name be? Truthfully I thought your name fit you better, but if you liked mine more I suppose I can talk to Kestrelstar about it." he stated aloud. Nodding with vigor as if it were the best idea he'd come up with.
Tilting his head to the side blue eyes looked up to the side in deep contemplation. "If I'm not Rowanmist anymore...hmm what is a good name for me, do you think? Maybe I should ask Goosefury." the Warrior asked, finally bringing his attention down to Wormbite, a hesitant smile plastered on his features.

Opening one eye, then the other, Redpaw sat up. It was true that what had happened was indeed... quite a show.
At the word hunting, Redpaw wondered where. He had always enjoyed it around cattail pond. It felt like for him, that the fish there tasted better. He wasn’t sure if they did for anyone else though. The apprentice nodded. It would be interesting.
Ha! Hunting is for the weak!
At least it’s quieter and more peaceful than you! ...

Silvercloud nodded and began to lead the way, heading to a cozy looking stream hidden away from the clan and he sits down.
"This place is hidden from the clan. I like to come here for more peace. That and it has salmon, so it's honestly a bonus." Silvercloud purred a bit as he spoke, looking at the clear water and then looks at Redpaw to see what he thinks through body language.

Slowly, Reedkit shook her head out of confusion. She had no clue what had happened to the older cats and now seeing all this caused a rush of fear. Glancing over towards Bravekit, Reedkit sucked in a deep breath.

He watched the water trickle by for a moment. Turning back to Silvercloud, Redpaw nodded with approval, then crouched, watching for a fish to come into view.

(Sorry for the short reply. I’m on my phone)
Silvercloud crouched beside him and keeping still and watchful, he quickly managed to scoop out and kill a large trout and quickly groom his paw before crouching down again.

Narrowing his eyes, Redpaw stared at a small fish that he could easily catch. After it got in the perfect position, he leapt onto it with a large splash, pinning it to the silty stream bed. It tried to struggle free, but the russet apprentice dug his claws deep into it. This fish wouldn’t get away.
He quickly dragged it to the bank, where he left it beside Silvercloud’s trout. Then, turning back toward the stream, Redpaw crouched again, hoping to spot the glimmering scales of a fish.
