Nudging Finpaw playfully, Honeypaw ran out of the camp, his tail held high.

"hey! that's not fair!" He called out, racing after Honeypaw "You've got longer legs!" He said, panting a bit already. Running wasn't the tom's favorite thing, they weren't windclan cats after all.

Webpaw was bored. Yes she had a functional mentor now, but it was boring when she wasn’t training. There was this new cat, she’d heard interesting things about and padded over in intrigue at the cat,” Former Kittypet” she meowed. She didn’t know Sunsetbloom’s name but she had heard that she was a former kittypet. She frankly thought Kestrelstar was weak for allowing kittypets to join the clan, she saw them as fairly weak and feeble, but maybe this one would surprise her.

Got it buster. If I don’t think you are training her well or are doing anything to endanger her, I’ll be reporting you to Kestrelstar and taking over her training. Understood?” he meowed. Blizzardsky wasn’t a mean guy, he just was extremely protective of his daughter.

He knew most parents weren’t that protective of there children, but his first daughter, Spicekit who he adopted went missing and was probably dead, then Slatekit disappeared and probably died, as did Sagekit. The second two were Petuniapaw’s littermates. He wasn’t going to let anything happen to Petuniapaw, Frozenkit, or Shatteredkit. He’d do whatever he had to for them. It was the least he could do for them. Yes he was over protective, but that would keep them alive and in Riverclan where they were safe.

A light gray tabby was deep in thought, ears swiveling in different directions every few minutes as he crouched in a shaded corner of camp, brow furrowed. Conflicting opinions had wracked his mind for the past half-moon, following the raid on ThunderClan, and as much as he wanted to escape this doubt, he couldn't push it out of sight. It was always there, lingering like a stubborn fog at the back of his mind. He understood ThunderClan had committed several wrongdoings, that much was obvious, and of course they had needed to be shown the kinds of consequences their actions had held. But a raid that resulted in the deaths of two RiverClan cats and potentially ThunderClanners - had it really been necessary to deliver "justice" in such a way? They were just two more bodies to add to the ever-growing pile, and while Kestrelstar seemed... regretful, or even guilty, Saltpaw was still wary. The leader had led a brutal attack once - who was to say he wouldn't resort to the same tactic again in the future.

His tail tapped the ground as he squinted into the distance.

Dare he admit the horrible truth that this was becoming normal? Cats would just walk up, poke and prod (what was with all the damn touching?) or ask for stuff, and stars. Stormtalon wished he could jump back five moons to a blessed time RiverClan avoided being within five foxlengths of him. He just had to go and ruin his cold reputation by becoming active in clan politics, didn't he?

"Silvercloud." A curt acknowledgment to match the tom's rude overstepping of physical boundaries. A warning flashed inside Storm's green eyes when he continued: "Use your words."

Silvercloud blinks and coughs a bit and looks away. He should've said something. Looking at the tom again, Silvercloud's tail waved behind him.
"Would you mind going hunting with me? The queens and kits have asked for food and I want the kits to eat fresh fish. Some other cats already gave some to the elders, so we don't need to worry about them at the moment."

Eyes slightly bloodshot, Hawthornmist crawled out of the Warrior's den and collapsed by the fresh-kill pile, he'd been having dreams, bad dreams, nightmares, about his sister, Pinewatch
They always ended with her being swallowed by some sort of body of water, probably meaning RiverClan, and they kept him up all night, he shivered despite the warm sun of the morning.
Maybe a good, solid meal would help.
Hawthornmist took a mouse off of the fresh-kill pile and started to eat.
