The leader looked down at the tiny cat as she was greeting. She had no problems with kits she just had no interest in having them. Twilightstar felt that it might be fun to adopt a few once she got the clan situated, but that was somewhere far away in the future and nothing but a distant dream right now. "I'm here to meet the new kits and Queen." She answered Pebblekit patiently. "No, I can't have kits." Twilightstar felt that was a better answer then I don't want to have kits since can't was a little easier to explain then don't.
Her eyes shifted back over to Wisp when she answered her question. "You'll need a new name if you're going to stay with us. I think Brightflame will fit, you'll need a mentor in the near future, but you, for now, you'll stay in the nursery with your kits." Normally new cats got paw, but having an apprentice in the nursery just didn't sound good.

Pebblekit scrunched up her face, yeah, I can't have kits either. I'm still too young! She mewed, waving her tail behind her.

Twilightstar beat back and forth as all four kits step forth. Out of all the kits, Silverkit proved to be the liveliest. "Silverkit [ @Shiim ], Boulderkit [ @The Cannibal ], Curlkit [ @FuzzyRatto ], and Birchkit [ @LionKitKat ] you've all reached the age to become apprentices. Until the day you receive your warrior names you will be known as, Silverpaw, Boulderpaw, Curlpaw, and Birchpaw." The leader's eyes began sweeping the crowd for mentors.
"Whisperheart [ @rhi ], you've not yet had an apprentice. You will be Silverpaw's mentor. You appear to have the patience and maturity to deal with immature toms, see that you pass your skills on to Silverpaw." Considering his age, Silverpaw was expected to be a pawful, Coyotesnarl, and Coldsong were another problem altogether.
"Duskmoth [ @Socks ], you have shown yourself to be a compassionate and caring warrior, you will mentor Boulderpaw. I trust you'll train him well." Boulderpaw was a sweet and gentle kit she hoped the two of them would get along well.
"Sunnythicket [ @Bravekit ], you are always optimistic and always eager to serve the Clan, you will mentor Birchpaw." The warrior and apprentice both seemed to have a warm and joyful presence even if Sunnythicket's head seemed to be in the cloud, perhaps training and caring for an apprentice would teach her some responsibility.
"Blackwing [ @Alexcentri ], you are a warrior of exuberance and loyalty, Curlpaw will be yours to mentor. I know that you will pass all you know to your apprentice" Yet another happy pair, Twilightstar expected Curlpaw to be a good warrior under Blackwing's tutelage. The molly waits for the clan to call out the names of the new apprentices before diving into the next order of business.
"I've met some cats, former outsiders, that I've decided to join our ranks and clan. I believe with some training and care, they'll make great future warriors for WindClan." Twilightstar caught the eyes of each new clan member. "Leap [ @Nightbound ], Eagle [ @Lynxpaw ], Felix [ @Silverclover ], Tiny [ @ The Shadow Flower ] will be known as Leappaw, Eaglepaw, Cloudkit, and Tinykit." The leader was pleased to see that each new members were attending the meeting. "Leappaw and Eaglepaw will need mentors." Twilightstar would like somewhat experienced warriors to handle teaching the non-clanborns about clan life.
"Hickoryfeather [ @Sparkling Bliss ], you are a warrior of experiences and skill, I'll leave Leappaw's mentoring to you. The molly is disrespectful and stubborn, she has a lot to learn if she's to become a proper warrior." She hoped the senior warrior could teach Leappaw something otherwise she didn't see the molly lasting long in WindClan.
"Littlewish [ @Moon Lily ], although you've disappointed me more than once and have been separated from your former apprentice, you have a charm and confidence I think Eaglepaw needs so I'll be putting him in your care." Eaglepaw was a good cat, a little shy, and perhaps a tad insecure. She was hoping Littlewish's charisma would rub off on Eaglepaw.
"There are two queens, one I brought in injured by a fox. Her name is Wraith, the other Batglare found, her name is Wisp. Wraith has yet to make her decision on whether she'll be staying here or leave, she'll be treated as a guest until then. Wisp has recently given birth to a litter of three and has decided to join our clan. Wisp will be known as Brightflame."

Sunnythicket blinked. A mentor? Me? I mean, I always expected to get one someday, just not so suddenly!

The she-cat smiled, full of hope, and turned to the kit - no, apprentice - she was going to train, B- B- Have I forgotten already?

She retraced what Twilightstar said. There was Boulder and Birch... it’s got to be one of those! I like the name Birchpaw, I think it was that one...

Sunnythicket smiled. Can’t forget this early on if she was going to be a mentor! She was certain she would teach this new apprentice all she knew... if her problems didn’t kick in.

She tried to walk over to the apprentice, resisting the urge to run to look better in front of the other cats, and ended up doing a little skip. Arriving next to the apprentice, Sunnythicket touched noses energetically. “Forgive my energy!” she mewed, excited. “I’m just so excited to be your mentor!”

"Warm enough?" Aspenbreeze pursed her lips, brow raised as she turned to stare at Whisperheart. Raising a single paw, she pressed the backside of it against the other's side, humming with curiosity,

"You feel warm enough to me!" Cracking a playful grin, she let out a chuckle, "I'm just playing with ya', you'll get there don't worry. Either way, depending on who you get... ugh." Aspen let her eyes wander around the clearing, trying to spot her own apprentice. That would be something to mention to him as well - being present for meetings.

"It can be a lot of work.. especially with all these outsiders coming in... having to teach and then reteach the code, explain the borders." She tilted her head to the side, "At least clan kits generally know the code and what's expected of them... Hm... either way, like I said, maybe you'll get lucky this meeting, eh? Don't sweat it!"

He snorted at the apprentices dramatic tone. “It won’t be that bad.” He replied, taking on the new apprentices and members with slitted eyes. He didn’t trust outsiders, even though he used to be one, but he also thought they could be an opportunity. When the apprentice added, he flicked his ear in interest. “Yes. Yes I suppose we should. I’m Flashclaw, by the way.” The ginger tabby mewed with a glance at the apprentice.

Cloudkit picked up her head as he name and gave a slightly nervous smile losing all her boldness she had when Twilightstar found her. Her ears twitched as she continued listening finding the clan names slightly strange but she would get used to them quickly or she'd be in trouble. She couldn't help but slowly come closer to the rest of the cats but still tried to remain unnoticed.

Bushpaw rolled his eyes. Of course, he’d have to put these outsiders in their places. After all, they hadn’t been through what WindClan had. They won’t be able to keep up with the real clan cats.

Sky paw came to his mind, and the dark brown apprentice felt a pang of guilt before suppressing it. That ShadowClanner got what he deserved.... right?

Blackwing did a happy gasp, he had actually been chosen to be a mentor! This was great! He looked at Paleheart for a moment, grinning, and then basically bounded over to his new apprentice. "Oh hi there! We're gonna have a great time together, I know it!" He very quickly touched noses to his apprentice. You could practically feel the excitement radiating off the black tom. He was already thinking of all the great things he could teach Curlpaw, of course including the normal warrior-y stuff.
