Ribbitkit settled down a couple fox-lengths away from the pile. He took a small nibble of the mouse. "That's nice, maybe you can show me after we eat," he mumbled through a mouthful of meat. He wouldn't mind Foggykit showing him the move, but he had never quite understood why some cats, like his brother, were in such a hurry to become apprentices. In his opinion, kits had it the best. They could play and nap all day, and there weren't a whole lot of things they could get in trouble for. On the other hand, there were a ton of things apprentices could get in trouble for. Plus, they had a lot more responsibility. In his mind, he wasn't in any rush to try and think up a way to become an apprentice early.

With both of them taking bites of the mouse, the prey was easily finished in no time. "Sooo...," he mewed slowly. "I guess you can show me the moves Blackpaw taught you." Foggykit dragged the 3 biggest pine cone she could spot to assemble it into a cat-like shape to demonstrate. "So first, you leap onto the dead center of the warrior's back so they can't get you." she said as she sprang onto the lonely pine cone demonstrating the back. "Next you need to make sure that your claws are gripping into the back of the warrior so you can slash their head quickly while they try to pry you off." she said as she slashed the pine cone that was propped up like a head causing it to roll away. "Lastly, make sure you are watching where you land as you slide down, for this part I in cooperated a rolling motion." she meowed as she tucked into a fuzzy ball and rolled away. Foggykit forgot to brake and crashed into the fresh kill pile. "Whoops!" she yelped as landed onto her feet and quickly put the fresh kill back into 1 pile.

Once the pile was rebuilt, he gathered the pinecone that had rolled away and reassembled the mock "cat". The tabby kit jumped onto the cones and slashed at one of them until it tumbled away. Then he copied the rolling move--minus the whole crashing part. Getting back up, the young kit dusted off his pelt and smiled at Foggykit. "How did I do?"

"Wowie! You are a natural!" Foggykit complemented as she wiggled like a mouse, "I bet you could be a great demonstrator for the other kits as I am trying to teach every kit how to defend themselves!"

The growl hadn't gone unnoticed, the tom immediately storing her immediate impression deep in a memory bank for later use. 'Not an overly charismatic or diplomatic cat,' was along the lines of what the note was. Very useful, personality traits of others was always useful. It helped with structuring a conversation, how to approach it, what to aim for. But outwardly, he made no flinch and sat as still and proper as ever. Fire gaze meeting fire gaze. One with emotion, one endless pools of color with nothing to read.

"I apologize greatly dear leader, I only told your warrior that so that he would bring me here to speak to you. Clan life does not suite me very well, I do much better on my own," he purred out, that same light smile stitched onto his face. It seemed like a real smile.
"From what I understand, your clan very recently was attacked by another clan yes? I couldn't help but notice the smell of blood in the air, it's very unmistakable. Forgive me for jumping to conclusions if that is not the case. But I thought who would most need my services, than a clan who was recently savaged by another? And the services I offer is information. Information on what the other clans are doing, their plans, their operations, their weaknesses. Over the moons I've become particularly adept at... Observing. And hearing things. And I can gather you information, very useful information, if you desire. Including information on the clan that did this to you." The tom paused here, allowing her to take in the offer and allowing himself to gather more on her emotions. How was she taking this? Surely skeptical, he hadn't named his price yet. But what else was there. What kind of cat was she?

Ribbitkit smiled and purred as his new friend complimented him. "That's a good idea! If a raid ever happens again, we'll all be prepared to defend ourselves." He hoped it would never come to that, but if the kits all became stranded in camp during a battle, then proper defense skills could come in handy. "Maybe we can start by teaching Croakingkit and Eaglekit later."

Irisflame could hear the squabble escalating. The moment Falcondive decided to emerge from the depths of his mossy nest, she knew he'd have something to say. The fussy tom always did. The going in his orbs told her all she needed to know. Hearing the anger in his voice, she opened her mouth to agree, but feeling Daisybloom's law on her chest she thought better of it. As much as She wanted to tear this traitor to the ground, she felt guilty with Daisybloom watching. With her eyes on her, steady. Holding her breath, she tried her best to keep her fur flat. But it kept springing up in places- and you couldn't blame her! The quarrel growing louder and louder, she pressed her paws to her ears, breathing in. She had to say something. But she'd have to keep her voice down, because a- patients were resting, and b- Daisybloom would be mad as heck. She had to resort to...the last resort. There was a system the used to deal with situations. The last resort was a solution so difficult to her to do, so commanding she almost fainted in disgust while using it. It was pathetic.
"Stop. Everyone stop." She mewed, tone sharper than those rocks you found lying around somtimes. Eyeing the room with disdain, she felt her gaze rest in Ivyshade. "Ivyshade, look. I'm mad, okay? And I agree with Falcondive. Sorry if I scared ya, but, honey. I am stressed and mad as heck, so how'd you think I was going to react when I thought a cat had decided to excuse herself from the battle which hurt...so, so many. Huh?" She paused, exhaling, "Great Starclan, I want to tell right now- I know you've been missing. But I could have used an explanation first, you know." She mewed, tone tight. Nodding once, she turned to Daisybloom, checking for a fever. Was her throat alright? "You okay?"

At her smile, she felt her from grow wider. Smiled were contagious, in her case. And it made her heart swell to know that she'd helped another day find theirs. It was hard to smile, as far as she could see. And actually helping with that? Almost magic. Shaking her head, she raised a paw and flicked in dismissively.
"Anytime, Cindy. Besides, lack of charms is what I like. Because I have no social skills, whatsoever. Makes me wonder why I'm a medicine cat in the first place!" She exclaimed , shrugging. It did make her wonder, though she knew the answer. Her love of helping was something she held above all else. And ever since her mother had died... "No offence, but half of you are crazy. It's like they beg the opposition to kill them."

A smile on her maw, she glanced over at the herbs. She'd never thought about it before. Rmembering things just came easier to her, she guessed. Turning back to the newfound friend, she nodded.
"I'm sure you'll get there- but at least you can forget! I have all these random facts floating around. And you can fight! I just want the ability to claw somecat's ears off."

Ivyshade felt a bit surprised and thankful that Irisflame was able to keep her emotions under control. She flopped in her nest and said, "How do you think my tail got bit off? If you take a look you might notice the faint Riverclan scent, but it might have gotten washed away when I went for a swim."
