Lilith had never liked the fact that healing others was her calling. She hated the negative attention that it brought, and the stereotypes that surrounded her about it- but all of this, it was either heal or to be cast out into the wild, to fend for yourself. Her mother was a foolish kittypet, and her father had been a clan cat who couldn't care less about her safety, having been dropped off by the Dusk Syndicate's borders at only around five moons. She hated both of them with a passion, but she'd never have been able to survive without having been taken in, trained and conditioned for the hatred she would receive for being a healer. She'd become jaded over these past few moons, and life experiences had turned her mood sour- however, she'd never exactly held a grudge against the Syndicate itself rather than the cats inside of it who'd left her for dead. She'd still had a scar across her cheek from an unhappy patient, somebody who'd gone blind because of her- because she couldn't work hard enough. Every day, it seemed like she'd done her best, but nobody cared. Nobody took her advice, nobody listened. Shuffling her paws as she sorted herbs in her den quietly, this time, she didn't listen- all she focused on were the leaves.

Having been alone himself, the tom never really knew his true worth until he made his way to the Syndicate. He was sweet and kind before but something was missing. He found that something, which led to many foolish acts and life changing consequences. He was born from a rogue and clan-er, left aloe because his mother was ashamed of herself, and of them. Surviving on only themselves, he and his siblings made the best of the moons, and they were even loved by all clan cats. Many, from all clans, came to the den and had a good time, play fighting and talking, getting acquainted and seeing they weren't so different after all. That was the true light that they held, but the light died when Lynx's former mate was killed. Then the spark died, and they no longer let anyone into their lives. He then stumbled upon the Syndicate. He was planning to get strong here than go off to join a clan, but that didn't happen. He grew into liking the evil it held, how it pulsed through the earth like a beating heart layed beneath the dirt. This was his calling. And he couldn't embrace it more than how he was.

He walked into the den, hoping to speak with his mate since he haven't in a while. He did love her, no matter how evil he was. He loved her and the kits. He'd give his life for them, but only them. He saw her sorting the leaves, and padded to her. "Hello, Lilith." he said, walking up to her. "How have you been fairing?" he asked, sitting by her, looking at the herbs. He knew a few, from watching her and stuff but he kept it to the important basics, just in case of a battle. He looked at her, his blue orbs flashing like they always did wit her. He had talked to his kits, gotten his trainee, however who was picked broke his heart a little more. Caliginosity, son of his sworn enemy. However, he put that aside. Now he just wanted to talk and spend time with Lilith.

As she'd been sorting herbs by herself diligently, Lilith could hear footsteps echoing behind her, though she didn't care to turn around and figure out who it was. She'd thought that she could just take a bit of a break from her work by making sure her den was tidy, though she wasn't all that disappointed in the voice which sounded behind her as well. Turning around, she could see her mate, Onyx- somebody who wasn't really the most reliable cat, but who had rescued her from hard times, which she'd often felt she had to repay him for. Bleddyn, her first mate, was a monster- and the kits she had with him always reminded her of their father, no matter how hard she tried. In fact, Onyx was training one of them, who she called Cal in her head- though really, none of her kits cared to talk to her much except for one. Chiaki, a full fighter now, who also seemed to idolize her father- she was the only one of her kits who'd formally met him.

"Oh- hello." She tilted her head to the side just for a quick second, trying to get a good look at the tom's jet-black fur and bright blue eyes- he was handsome, that was for sure. "I'm doing fine- a little roughed up, but it's alright." Her eyes darted to a cut on her paw for a second before cutting away again, trying to smile for a second. She was never the happiest cat, but she thought that Onyx liked it when she smiled, and so she'd do it for him. Really, she felt like she could tear somebody's throat out right now- she was stressed out, but somehow the malleable personality she'd carried when she was with Bleddyn still shined through when it came to her new mate. In fact, her old one still haunted her dreams- it hurt. "How's my son doing?" She sighed- referring to Cal as she organized another pile of leaves for a second.

Shadow turned her head, startled by the sound. She found that Aria, her belly full with kits. "Hm, Well Icarius, you want to help?" She mewed. Shadow flicked her tail, walking over. "Let me take a look first Aria, unneeded herbs might hurt them more." She purred. Looking over, she looked back to Icarius. "Borage should be in a oval, tear drop like shape. Once you find it bring it over and I'll show you what to do." She mewed.

Shadow turned her head, startled by the sound. She found that Aria, her belly full with kits. "Hm, Well Icarius, you want to help?" She mewed. Shadow flicked her tail, walking over. "Let me take a look first Aria, unneeded herbs might hurt them more." She purred. Looking over, she looked back to Icarius. "Borage should be in a oval, tear drop like shape. Once you find it bring it over and I'll show you what to do." She mewed.

Ears perked up as he heard Aria enter the den, his eyes looking to her before looking to Shadow as she asked if he wanted to help. With an excited nod, he eagerly nodded his head. "Sure, that sounds like fun!"
Prancing over, the fluffy kit would stand beside the healer as she began to look at the queen, listening to what Shadow had to say and eagerly nodded his head with wide, thirsty eyes, trying to soak this up like a sponge so that he could get it right the first time.
"Oval tear drop leaf, got it!" Whipping around, Icarius would race over to the stores, ears perked up as he attempted to search through the confusing bundles of leaves and flowers and pulps for what he was asked to retrieve. Until finally he spotted leaves that matched her description. Unsure of how many to grab, he simply took a mouthful of them carefully into his mouth before racing back over and playing them at her paws with a delighted curl of his tail, waiting for her to explain what to do next.

Gorse padded in and set a black tom in a nest "Can we have help? We were training and I clawed his neck." She knew Needle did but she wanted him to not get in trouble. Her eyes showed fear. She looked at the cobwebs she put on and they were crimson red. " he's bleeding badly" she wailed. She placed a paw on his flank and didn't feel any movement. She looked at his eyes and they were clouded. *"Death!"

Shadow gave a small nod of approval. "Perfect, now before we can use it we have to check on her kits." She moved her paw over to Aria. "Make sure you don't press down to hard. Just enough to feel around the kits." She flicked her tail, pressing down. She worked in a circular pattered, concentrating her blue orbs. "Hm, Aria," She mewed before Moving her paw. "Nothing seems wrong, but your right about the milk." She turned to Icarus. "We only need one of those for now. Aria feels that she has two kits." She placed a leaf in her paw, and handed it over to Aria. "Wet moss is good too, it helps the cat get rid of the taste quickly." She pawed some of the wet moss over and handed the leaf to Aria. "And I don't want a scrap left." Shadow mewed.

It's probably my own fault for letting the milk dry up but I will be more careful next time." Aria's blue gaze met Shadow's matching blue orbs. She blinked then added "Yep, they're quite the little fighters! I feel them squirming around every five minutes! I never had a sibling so it's cute that they have a good sibling bond. I promise I will be careful with them."

She moved her paw to the center of Aria's swollen belly. "Make sure you don't press down too much." She purred. Shadow looked over. She flicked her tail more, narrowing her ears around. "Aria, are you sleeping okay? You need rest, they feel like their due any day now."
