Jaykit dragged himself to the crowd, he couldn't get it out of his head. It just replayed over and over. Icestar killing Lionstar. Killing. If it was a regular warrior or-- or apprentice, kit, someone, there would have be no second chances. Or nine chances. They would just be dead. Lifeless. Like that warrior.

The 'kit' weaved through the bigger bodies in the crowd, making his way to the front. Even if Jaykit was yknow, probably a bit traumatized he had to focus on plan B! Which could only start when he was an APPRENTICE. His tail flickered in annoyance. He couldn't even care about the whole thing but it was annoying. He was being left behind. All his siblings were,, so grown-up! Quailkit would probably get her ceremony before him and she was MISSING. Jaykit mumbled grumpily under his breath, unsheathing his claws to make a small salty dirt pile while he waited for Icestar to get a move on.

Sheeplight had been sleeping in the usual sunny spot in the clearing. As she heard Icestar's call, she didn't bother to join the others. Only, Sheeplight shifted her position so she could watch from a far. Bam.

Blackpaw smiled at the kits happiness. "Alright," he said as he positioned a pinecone in front of each kit, "You're going to leap at the pinecone, use your back legs to propel yourself, use your whole body to aim, and use your front paws to get the pinecone, ok?"

Paying close attention to Blackpaw’s instructions, Ribbitkit prepared himself to “catch” the prince one. Once he made sure he had retained the proper form, he wiggles his haunches and used his hind legs to thrust himself forwards, landing with his front legs on top of the pine cone. It was a little bit of a rough landing, but he managed to remain standing and unfazed. Smiling triumphantly, he pretended to pick it up and give it a killing bite. “I did it!”

"Huh, Blueberry it is then." She patiently sat as she watched Irisflame desperately try not to laugh at 'Iris-y'. She knew it sounded stupid, and there it was. She was right, it had sounded stupid, and Blueberry was a much better nickname anyway.

With a surprised flick of her ears, Cinderstripe quirked an invisible eyebrow at Irisflame. She had accepted, which Cinderstripe wasn't quite ready for. Thinking the worst out of most situations certainly was useful for making her just a little happier when things turned out well. "You? Bad? Nah, you'll do great Blueberry. Just come find me when you're ready to train and stuff. Speaking of stuff, how long is this stuff supposed to stay on?" She gestured her tail to the mixture on her scratches. She'd hate to take up too much of Irisflame's time, especially when she had others to attend to.

Nightkit was growing tired. She felt like she was about ready for a nap. She could barely keep her eyes open but it seemed like Gleamkit wasn't giving up either. Then Nightkit heard Gleamkit let out a strange noise! She was pretty sure it was what they called a laugh. She had never made another kit laugh before. Usually they just laughed at her. She couldn't help but let out a purr. "This sure is a lot of work" Nightkit declared. "What a silly game" with that she smiled...or tried to. Her teeth stuck out and her eyes looked a little crazed, but she was trying. Was this making conversation? Was she doing it right?

Gleamkit looked at the crazed looking kit. Umm, okay. "Yeah." He smiled and batted playfully at her. "I'm going to win!"

Duskpaw quickly closed her mouth when Sheeplight threatened to throw the molly. The calico believed she would because anyone could easily pick her up and throw her. You can even flick her and she'll go flying. Backing up a few mouse-length tails for safety measure the Duskpaw tried her best to not notice the wound and act as if it was nothing.

She was probably wrong but it was better than not answering. Her large emerald eyes looked up to her mentor.

One point to Duskpaw, " Sheeplight mewed-- "This move is pretty much just for uh, large non-cat creatures, " Considering her twig of an apprentice would just get gobbled up by a coyote or such.. showing her how to possibly gut an opponent would be useful! "You have to be quick or you may either get caught by your opponent or um, well. Crushed. They will sit on you, do not be fooled. This can only be used as a first move or surprise attack. " The molly took a step back, rolling her shoulders in prep for her amazing display. She glanced at her wounded leg for a moment. Her tail twitched with annoyance.

"You zig-zag run or just run, yknow. Just pretttyyy much-- you tuck your limbs in while you are running towards your opponent. Either roll, just-- just like get under them but don't stop moving. Get that belly! Scratch it! Leave a mark! It's pretty adjustable but, just watch-- " Sheeplight would let out another yawn. This training session was getting boring.

Turning around to face a tree, the warrior darted forward. Unsheathing her claws, she raked them across the bark as she ran pass it. She skidded to a halt, whirling around to face Duskpaw in her successful 'attack'. "Just imagine I was under the tree, sound good?"

Foxpudge grimaced as he glanced at his shoulder. "I'm honestly not sure it'll ever improve at this rate. It's uh, not.. scabbing.. it's like the skin doesn't want to come back." But at least it wasn't bleeding.

"S'not bleeding, though?" He murmered, quite concerned. He didn't know how to help it, but her knew if it didn't scab over it would never heal properly.
He sniffed at his webbed up shoulder. Didn't smell infected, either. Irisflame was doing a good job of keeping him from getting worse.

"Hey Auntie Icestar." Duskpaw softly called out into the Leader's den. Wincing in pain from the wounds moving on her muzzle. Ugh, stupid Thunderclanner A small scabs came upon her beautiful features as she cursed the tom who took a piece of her beauty by her permanently scarring her muzzle. The molly took a few steps forward, large emerald eyes adjusting to the dim lighting. A soft smile replaced the frown she previously had as she saw the massive molly. "I wanted to see if there was anything I could do for you. Since your shoulder must be causing you a lot of pain I thought perhaps I could fetch you some prey or water. Give you a nice back rub or some company." The calico was never truly fazed by the dark leader's personality. It only made her belief that her adopted aunt needed more love in her life.
