Heatherkit laughed lightly. He was happy that this kit wanted to help him. He sighed. "I'm happy! Look!" He smiled, hoping it was fake enough to look real. He didn't want to worry the small kit.

Emberkit smiled, his tail thrashing around gently "happy!" He looked excitedly between Heatherkit and Basilkit, wondering what they were going to do as he tried repeating sentences to himself quietly "look... not playing mood now.."

Heatherkit yawned, not used to all this activity. He glanced at Basilkit, no sure what to do. He shook his thick pelt and smiled at Emberkit. He hoped that nothing bad would ever happen to this tiny kit. There was too much bad in the world. He sighed, stretching.

SoftFeather walked into the nursery awkwardly. She found an empty nest near the back of the nursery. SoftFeather felt very out of place, like a salmon in a moorland. She laid down carefully trying not to disturb her unborn kits. She looked over to LynxStep,"Hi, LynxStep. Uh, I'm new to the nursery and I don't have any idea what I'm doing!" she mewed with a small laugh in her stressed words.

Emberkit yawned, slowly leaning against his mother's belly, drawn to her soothing milk scent. "sleepy.. shhh" he mumbled, having said that to his siblings earlier in the day. He slowly began to close his eyes again, so soon after having opened them for the first time

Heatherkit smiled as the kit leaned against his mother. Heatherkit gave Emberkit a quick lick before yawning and walking over to his own nest. He stretched before lying down in a a tight ball, with his tail over his nose. He slowly fell asleep.

Puddlekit, who had been watching the other kits play from the sidelines, decided to join in on the snuggle party. He sat down next to Heatherkit and Emberkit, before curling into a ball. Blinking open one eye, he noticed Basilkit refusing to join them. “Come on Basilkit,” he mewed calmly. “Join the snuggle group. It’s nice and comfy.” He purred as he closed his eyes, slowly dozing off.
