Yelling seemed to be a common occurrence in the clearing these days. Between kits thinking that sticks were snakes and ones afraid of spiders, getting any sort of shut-eye seemed more difficult than it really needed to be these days. Drizzlenight cracked his eyes open as someone screeched out something about a moss-ball fight in the clearing. The warrior was tempted to roll back over and go to sleep... but there was a small part of him that was heavily tempted to join in. A moss-ball fight sounded fun. It sounded like the sort of thing cats should be striving to do during this time of the season-cycle. Drizzlenight tried to think back to the last time he'd actually played a game. Maybe... he should give this a try. Peaceful things were good for him, right?

Crawling out of his nest, he nosed his way out into the clearing. It seemed like everyone was out for Bumblestar's head; maybe a good game of moss-ball would help the leader be less cranky. Snatching a moss-ball, Drizzlenight attempted to hurtle it at Bumblestar. His throwing ability wasn't the best, so it was left to be seen whether he actually hit his target or not. The moss-ball careened in Bumblestar's general direction at an angle, not giving the warrior much confidence.

back arched and fur bristled, fuzzpaw stares at the spider with wide eyes. luckily, someone's going to the rescue! a KIT! he watches as dewkit kills the spider with a slam of his paw, but it slowly starts to become weirder as he lifts the spider to his mouth and..eats it. the apprentice's jaw drops, staring at dewkit for a solid moment. "WHAT..THE HECK, DUDE." he sputters. despite it being extremely weird and just a little scary that dew was so willing to eat a spider, fuzzpaw returns the wide smile. "you!! are AWESOME!!"

his ear flicks at the sound of someone else screaming, but he doesn't bother to look. soon, another kit is approaching him. wow, kits must love spiders, huh. he tilts his head at mantiskit as the young molly rubs against his leg in a comforting manner. harmless!!! since when were spiders HARMLESS? he can't believe his ears! "whatever!"

fuzzpaw's fur lays flat. nightgaze makes her way over, which he guesses is her job since she's a hornet and all. he scrunches his nose at her comment, not sure how to feel about it. just because this spider was gone, doesn't mean there isn't another one!! now, he's fine with any insect and bug, snakes even, not spiders. he shivers.

recognizing violetfreckle's voice, he whips to the side to see the warrior sitting down beside him. "violetfreckle!! you shoulda seen the thing, it was HUGE!!!" he exclaims, eyes as wide as saucers. he doesn't want stop his mentor from wrapping her tail around him. oh, she'd teach him how to kill them?? eerrrr. at least she agrees, they're icky. "I dunnooo!! too scary! can you just kill em for me if I spot one?" that would be much more convenient.

EggBite grunted, feeling something smack her in the head.

'Wha-'

She looked down at the frozen mossball, laughing. She looked around for who threw it, pinpointing DrizzleNight.

She stood up, throwing the ball back at the other warrior with a chuckle.

Fight? With mossballs? That sounded pretty great to Brindlekit, and within a moment he was out in the clearing to partake in the chaos. He wasn't sure what exactly was going on, but numerous cats were jumping all over the place, flinging mossballs which HURT when they hit, and made strange crunchy sounds. One struck him on the flank and he yelped softly, before realizing that he didn't want to sound pathetic. All the adults were clearly fine with it, so he was too. He was tough! Warrior-like, even! This in mind, Brindlekit took the discarded bit that had hit him and shuffled it onto his paw, flinging it rather tamely in the vague direction of Bumblestar and trying to keep an eye on the clearing around him, so he didn't get hit again. DaylightPaw looked around, laughing. She saw MapleFace sitting there, being boring. She scooped up a stray mossball and flung it towards the warrior.

No. What? No! "No, it's not 'get Bumblestar time'! Get somebody else! What-" Redhawk's ball sailed straight into her face and she sputtered, staggering back. Just seconds after she swatted it back in the other warrior's direction, Daylightpaw's struck her in the flank and another sailed over her head. When she turned to hook Daylightpaw's ball, snow shoved underneath her paws made her trip and stagger, just barely missing the trajectory of Butterflykit, Mantiskit, and Drizzlenight's throws. What in the WORLD was happening??

"Vi, some help would be appreciated!" she shouted. "Gettin' demolished over here!"

Snow fight? SNOOOOOOOOOW FIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!
Mudhound was so excited they were trembling as they darted out and started gathering ammunition. But you see they were totally smarter than the rest of the clan! They had a plan to destroy their enemies (read, the cats mobbing their sister) and were going to unleash it!

The tripod scrambled their way to the top of the warriors den and started lumping everything into a giant ball, ignoring how their paws and body were going numb at the contact with the cold. They had a lot of bald scarred patches ok? Not everything was covered in fur so the large warrior was shivering lightly. Mudhound needed help, luckily there was a suitable cat nearby.

"Featherpaw! Psst Featherpaw! Gather stuff to throw and come join me!"
They didnt explain until the apprentice did join them but when Featherpaw did...... "We're gonna drop this on anyone who walks below us once its big enough! Help me pack it together!"

Of course little did Mudhound know this would backfire and take the 'attackers' down with it.

Butterflykit continued to throw the moss at them before turning to Redhawk. Be destroyed by me! I am a strong warrior of Thunderclan! She squeaked, chucking moss at them full force, tho her tail flicked in excitement.

Aha! A spark of pride lit beneath her paws as her moss-ball hit Redhawk and her quest for vengeance was fulfilled. With a purr, she turned toward Bumblestar just as Redhawk called the whole of ThunderClan to get her. Ohhhh, this would be good. As cats came crawling out of the woodwork to swarm the lighter tabby she-cat, Violetfreckle covered her mouth with a paw as she tried (not very much) to stifle a giggle.

As fun as it was seeing Bumblestar pelted with moss-balls, she felt compelled to stand up and inch her way toward the leader, slowly until she heard her nickname. Her heart fluttered (she would deal with those feelings later) and she dodged and weaved through the crowd until she was at Bumblestar's side, her pelt brushing the other cat's. "I'm here, I'm here, I'll help you against this terrifying swarm your majesty," she teased. This felt right. This was how things should be. Violetfreckle pushed all other throughts out of her mind, and focused on now: it was time to take on the whole of ThunderClan, Bumblestar by her side.
