Quilkit smiled warmly. He didn't move in case Foxkit would complain, but turned to Puddlekit. "So, how are you doing?"

He offered a toothy grin to the younger tom, making note of his quivering smile. "Today, I'm gonna show you the territory. You'll know it like the back of your paw soon enough!" His tone reflected his love for the open hills of the territory, there was nothing better than the wind ruffling through your fur mixed with the scent of the heather and grass. "But before that, how about I show you some hunting techniques? Then we'll see if you can catch your first bit of prey on our way." Even if he wasn't an amazing hunter himself, he knew everything needed for a successful catch. He hoped his own sense of smell wouldn't hold him back in his teaching. He gave another grin before leading the way to the entrance of the camp.

Hushkit shot to her paws, gasping, as a paw jabbed her side. She turned around, then saw that a blue-grey tom kit was there. She settled back in her nest and yawned, then glanced at him. He seemed to be awaiting an answer to something, but the deaf she-kit hadn't heard. Her only way of understanding others was to read lips while they talked, but seeing as she had been turned away from him and asleep, she didn't get what he had said. “Would... Would...“ voice scratchy from misuse, she struggled to remember the right words for this situation, trying to form them into a coherant sentence that made sense. “Please... Repeat... What you.. Said?“ she hoped he understood her, oftentimes others had trouble understanding her broken speech.

Quilkit blinked. "Want to play with me?" Quilkit wondered if there was something wrong with this kit, though he'd still want to play with her.

His mentor smiling did help ease his nerves a bit, it helped to show that Duskmoth was more like an eager apprentice than a strict, no-nonsense warrior. Of course he was still nervous, and probably would remain so until he had a good grasp on what he was doing, but he felt at least slightly better now.
Lifting up a paw, Boulderpaw looked it over, 'I'll know it just like the back of my paw..' That was kind of exciting, to be able to memorize so much as easily as that.
"That sounds good, um.. I'm.. I'm a little clumsy, and I don't have good balance..." Boulderpaw glanced down at his paws again, they always seemed to get in the way of what he wanted to do. He was scared that would prevent him from being a good hunter or warrior. He hoped he could bring home a piece of prey today. That'd be a cool apprentice thing to tell Elderpaw! As Duskmoth began to move, Boulderpaw was moving at his side, paying careful attention to his paws to make sure he didn't trip.

Puddlekit smiled back at Quilkit. "I'm fine, how are you?" He quickly glanced back down at Foxkit, checking to make sure the kit was still okay.

Quilkit glanced at Foxkit. "I'm okay, and I think Foxkit is, too. Say, wanna play a game after Foxkit wakes up?"

(it's fine! <3) Hushkit blinked slowly at him as he spoke, tipping her head to one side. Then the deaf she-kit gave him a smile. “Sure. What... To... Do you... Want... Play?“, she may be a kit with a disability, but she stilled loved games! There was mossball, tag, and her personal favourite, pretending to be warriors.
