Citrusflower heard Whiskernose's voice and completely padded out of the nursery. The calico molly padded up to him with a flicker of her tail. "Hello Whiskernose. How has your day been?", meowed the queen with a cheerful voice. She might as well act as cheerful as she was. Citrusflower loved his company and never got tired of talking to him. Not many cats visited her.

Citrusflower scented an unfamiliar kit and looked blindly up at him. She could sense something on his pelt, but couldn't put her mind on it. The molly pushed it away. "It's nice to meet you Lupinekit. My name's Citrusflower." , she replied. After a while it clicked in her head. It was the scent she knew well. It was due to her not having eyes. She was used to it by now and wouldn't say anything.

Hollowkit blinked, dark eyes dull.

Hollowkit simply could not understand it.

Croakingkit was surprised to see his brother hiding in the prey, but he concealed his surprise. He nuzzled his brother back,” It was a good hiding spot. Sure, we can share the frog together.” he meowed as he set the frog down in a nice spot in the sunlight and laid down in the sun and nudged the frog over to Ribbitkit a little bit.

"Great!" Ribbitkit smiled, following his brother over to the sunny spot and plopping down next to him. His stomach was now growling, so he took a little nibble of the frog. "Hey..." He swallowed the mouthful of food and looked his brother seriously in the eyes. "I'm sorry about earlier. I-I, I hadn't intended to sound so mean, and I'm sorry if I hurt you by yelling at you. I just get a little bit fed up sometimes, and I sincerely apologize if you were offended by it." He looked down in shame, hoping Croakingkit would accept his apology. Knowing his brother, they wouldn't stay mad at each other forever, but he wanted to eliminate any hard feelings still lingering after their earlier argument. The young tom still felt terrible about the whole ordeal. Even if the game of hide and seek had taken his mind off of it, he still knew that apologizing was the right course of action to take.

Frostpaw paused his work as a familiar cat approached, also wanting to help patch up the elders' den. "Hello," the white apprentice returned the greeting politely. He felt a bit better with company around, especially because it was a cat he was already friends with. Once the formalities were done, Frostpaw went back to reinforcing the walls with materials. Honestly, what in stars did RiverClan think they would accomplish by tearing up the elders' den? Any other den was understandable, but this? There weren't even that many elders in ShadowClan to begin with. As Nightpaw started patching up the smaller holes, Frostpaw divided his attention in between doing his part of the work and watching the other apprentice. He wanted to know how to patch holes himself and this was a good enough time to observe.

A ginger tom padded into the clearing and sat down, hoping to rest a bit. Twistedflame lay down and looked at the stars.

Hickorystump could feel an unease growing in the pit of his stomach at Hollowkit's deadpan denial, though he shoved it down. This kit was as quiet as him, and it was even harder to understand what he was thinking. He's just young, how can he fully understand how a clan works? the fluffy warrior convinced himself.

"See my tail?" he asked gruffly, turning his body slightly so the smaller cat could see, "Lost it defending against a fox. When it happened I wasn't worried, just furious. But I couldn't let it hurt the clan."

Thistlethorn padded into the clearing with purpose, dropping his kills into the fresh-kill pile before scanning the clearing for Beastspark. He didn't really care about where the two apprentices were. They could figure it out, and besides, he had more important things to do. Sweeping the clearing again, he spotted Beastspark a distance away. He held himself proud as he walked over, reluctantly dipping his head in respect. "Beastspark. The hunting patrol has been completed."

Thornpaw padded into the clearing a few moments after Thistlethorn. She padded up to the fresh-kill pile and dropped her three frogs onto it. She then headed up to where the warrior was talking to Beastspark.
