Kitekit rushed to help Puddlekit tossing out old nests and replacing them with nests as good as a kit could make them under a time limit. "There this should be good enough!"
( everyone needs at least two posts to get credit Ravenkit [ @Octavia! ] Sunsetkit [ @Pangoligon ] Puddlekit [ @Joeboe_Bean ] I report this as it is )

Puddlekit had finished a couple nests. He pricked his ears. "Are we done?" he mewed, tipping his head. Puddlekit bounced around the den, sniffing at the nests. He was pretty sure they were done. "I'm gonna go tell Ferretsnap!" The little grey tom tumbled out of the den, and skipped across the clearing to find the warrior.

He wouldn't lie, it stung a little, being a stranger to a pawful of those in your home. Granted he was gone for moons, and even before than, Foampaw tended to keep to himself. Big crowds made him anxious. Big ears twitched as he looked over his shoulder, shooting a soft smile towards the other.
He stood there for a moment, collecting himself, before finally turning to face the other. "Hello. I'm Foampaw. It's nice to meet you." he said, words laced with droplets of honey. "I uh, I'm not exactly new but, well." a long pause in the air as the other took a moment to contemplate how to continue. Frog stuck in his throat, unable to state his own failures aloud. It wasn't Stonepaw's fault he went missing, it was his own foolishness.
He couldn't think of anything to say, mind only focusing on the taken nest, a nest that used to be his. It was never anything special, maybe filled with a shell or two, but it was his. Now it was all different, and not his. Not anymore anyways. Shuffling his paws, the Apprentice was getting...well anxious. Bi colored eyes on the floor. "I, er uh, I. I need to find a new nest." he muttered. Hopefully that wasn't too much to ask of Stonepaw? They seemed kind, at least.
Stonepaw
He needed to learn to keep his mouth shut. Sometimes saying everything that came to mind wasn't the best thing to do. It didn't seem nice to ask who they were, especially when it was his job to know everyone. Even if they'd just come back from missing, he wasn't supposed to be so hostile. He smiled back. "Nice to meet you too, Foampaw." He tested out each word before speaking, reviewing its flavor and making sure that it wouldn't cause another problem.
There was another pause. He wasn't used to this type of silence. Usually he'd fill it with something, a question, a story, a look, but he couldn't bring himself to interrupt the other cats train of thought. "I can help you find another one!"" Help, he was good at helping. Something simple and easy and straight-forward. Find a new nest. "Hmm, we'll have to start with the basics: do you like to be in the middle of the group or on the outskirts? How close to the door? Or, wait." He trailed off, nosing around as he wandered back and forth across the den. This was his element, and with familiarity came confidence.
"Ok, so there's like, five open nests." He gestured to each as he spoke, pointing to each with his tail. "Two in the back corner, one right next to the opening, a few in the middle. Do you have a preference?" Maybe that was too much to ask, but if he needed more help, Stonepaw could always assist. The grey tom may sleep in his own den, but he had been scouting good places for his sister. He had a general idea.
if i ever take that long again, please bump me! also like, no need to respond to this if you don't want to //
Falconpaw lounged in the apprentice den, looking at the outside world from her nest with sleepy eyes. She was so bored… if only there was someone to talk to.
