Oh, wow! Dawnstar should ask her clanmates to name locations more often, she'd get a kick out of it! Some of these names were utterly ridiculous. She found her cats certainly enjoyed the word blood, Bloodshed, Bloodstain, Bloodshadow, Bunnyblood they were interesting if Dawnstar wanted to giggle that is. The other names were doing much for her either, Shadow Moor they had enough things named after the clan, Red Clawmoor(?) that was a strange, Shaded Moor likable but lacking, Easy Moor was just funny, and one even suggested naming it after the leader herself.
Dawnstar cringed a little on the inside. Not that she had any problems with her name, but forever reason the thought of naming anything after herself ruffled her fur in a disgusting way. This was something to analyze later. It stumped her as to why she absolutely hated the idea of leaving her name behind on anything. It could be because it was a moor or... yeah, no she was sidetracking herself.
Back on topic, her gaze rested on Ravenpaw as they meowed something about a Blue Glade, it wasn't over the top, and the symbolism was good. There were very few places once could see the open sky in their territory, the pine trees gave them a dense coat of shadows to walk through. Their new territory would offer them a wide few of the sky day or night.
"Many of you forget that it's not the name that makes the cat, but the cat that makes the name." Dawnstar meowed tossing some names around in her head. "None of the landmarks or areas in our territory have all that terrifying names, there is no need for it, it's not the territory that others should be afraid of but the cats that live within it." She let her clanmates think that over for a moment before continuing.
"If we named it something like Bloodshed Moor or Bunnyblood Moor, you're more than likely to get a laugh out of the clans than terror. It makes me feel like we're overcompensating. It feels like were trying to gain fear, caring too much about what others think of us, and trying too hard will only result in pity and humiliation. Those names are too direct, besides there wasn't enough blood shed to drench the moor red nor were there enough dead bunnies to use that." The leader lifted her ears waiting to see if anyone had any thoughts before announcing her decision.
"I like Ravenpaw's name, it is simple and symbolic, the fact that it's the only place where you can get a clear view of a sky is something we don't have in ShadowClan. So rather than blue, we'll use sky, and call it the Sky Glade." The note of finality said it was a done deal. "I'm sure one of these days WindClan will try to come and reclaim it but for not it's ours. There is a single seemingly tree in the territory, I think it's the Lone Pine or Lonely Pine, something like that. I haven't properly explored the glade yet, but there are quite a few hare holes that well need to be careful with. I want to try hunting there, not that we don't have enough hunting grounds, but it will most likely piss off WindClan seeing us successfully catch their prey especially with ease. We'll need to change up our hunting techniques due to open land. I'll be taking a few warriors and apprentice out to hunt with me to the Sky Glade so we can work on it."
Since they had the territory, it would be put to use, and Dawnstar wouldn't have Bunnystar and her bunnies mocking them for their inability to hunt in the moor. Dawnstar would make sure her clan adapted to it. She didn't need the entire clan just enough members with the duel skill to hunt in the pine forest and the moor. Confident in her decision, Dawnstar was about to move on, until she noticed that Foxstorm had risen her hackles and was hissing at Marsheyes. She was all for violence at meetings so long as it wasn't over something stupid.
"Why did I do what, Marsheyes? Name the territory Sky Glade. I'm pretty certain I explained myself clearly seconds ago." Every word was dripping with sarcasm as Dawnstar directed her attention to the cat interrupting her meeting. Not another one. The powerhouse thought silently to herself, rolling her eyes as waited to see what Marsheyes had to say about this.
A short chuckle for Silver as she moved around. Yeah, perhaps they had been a bit too on the nose and she was right. It didn't need to be so imposing with a name if she and her kin were the ones to be scared of. Listening as her queen made her decision but one more suggestion coming to mind.
"If I may offer one more my queen. Perhaps we should call the pine the sentinel. It is the tallest thing in the more and would be a good watch position. And sentinel's moor does have a certain ring to it and foreboding. Though only for consideration my queen. Not to challenge your decision." It was said with kindness and respect, a final suggestion and whether it was heard or not didn't matter ( @Undertaker just to draw your attention to it)
Then she heard the disruption from behind her, darting forward through the crowd with ease, a silver streak through the other felines. A soft growl as she moved in ready to pounce if this one became a problem.
"Is something wrong kit? something important to interrupt our queen!" Keeping low as Dawnstar also scholded the feline.
Batsong stood up and nudged the kits back into the nursery, sitting at the entrance. He was interested in what was going on and he didn't want the kits to be in warrior business. Of course, they'll still ask questions though.
Elmshadow stood abruptly, staring hotly through the crowd of cats at Marsheye. A burning fury took over and he dug his claws into the clearing floor to ground himself, resist jumping at the she-cat. How dare she question Dawnstar?! And over the lives of some bunnies no less! He ground his teeth as his jaw clenched, ready to strike if given the word from Dawnstar. He was eager to see what Dawnstar would do with a cat so traitorous.

And Spiderjump didn't press. It was a blessing, honestly. He could only smile softly, almost apologetically at him. As if they were speaking a secret code - Wolfwhisper knew that Spiderjump knew he wasn't alright but they couldn't speak on that. If only to relive every single moment beforehand.
Unaware of Spiderjump's stewing emotions, Wolfwhisper focused on Dawnstar's announcement. A name, huh? "Maybe.. Rabbits' Moor? Uhh.. I'm not entirely sure, " He admitted, it felt wrong to name something that wasn't ever their's to begin with. Perhaps Wolfwhisper just lacked the energy to come up with one. The other suggestions well -- they sent a shudder down Wolfwhisper's spine. He glanced to Spiderjump, a debate to continue conversation or to let it die down.
Oh no.
Wolfwhisper tried to desperately press himself against Spiderjump's side, lowering his head as Marsheyes began to call Dawnstar out. (It won't end well. ) "Sky.. Glade is cool, " He murmured softly, if only to knock out the voice. He looked back up at Spiderjump, "I think Spider's Upland would be better, " Wolfwhisper added, giggling quietly. (A weak attempt to bring attention away from Dawnstar.)

The molly's eyes glimmered with hatred. "You are taking over WindClan's territory. What did they do to you? From what I heard they were bringing prey this way, before being attacked by your warriors. You could have at least tried to make peace!" She hissed, her claws still unsheathed.
Foxstorm growled. "Peace is for fools, and so it appears you are too." Yes, Dawnstar could handle this, but Marsheye was being very foolish. Peace? Who wanted peace when you could rule in fear?

Sweet! Dawnstar picked their name! Ravenpaw didn't mind that she changed it slightly, the leader's name sounded less awkward anyway. Ravenpaw smiled with pride. They noticed the small disruption by Marsheyes, and if they had something to say about it, maybe it would be fun to see what objections they had.
When Dawnstar mentioned hunting, Ravenpaw bounced slightly on their paws. "Can I go?!" They really wanted to impress her.

It seemed the majority of her clanmates agreed with her, as her golden orbs roamed they landed on Longshadow, who wasn't very good at keeping his emotions off his face. He was displeased about something but kept his maw shut about what that was. She stared at the tom long and hard, if he had a problem with something he should come up here and said to her face instead of simply complying. It depends on what it was he said would decide whether he died or not. Spineless mouse.
ShadowClan had a lot of spineless mice. They'd either run from ShadowClan sooner or later or they'd die out doing something foolish and meaningless to try and overthrow her. Both were too full for her to bother thinking all that hard about. Silverstripe was yammering about the tree in the territory, but she gave her an ear considering she wanted to rename the pine that sat in the territory. Sentinal. It wasn't a bad name, but a mouthful to say. Sky Glade rolled off the tongue better. "We can call the tree the Sentinal if you'd like, it's better than whatever the bunnies called it, but I'm not changing the Sky Glade." Dawnstar was already aware that Silverstripe wasn't challenging her, the scarred leader knew a challenge when she saw one, the cat was simply offering an idea. That was fine with her.
"Of course, I'll take you out, Ravenpaw. I want to see how your training is coming along anyway." Dawnstar didn't spend nearly as much time as she should with her kits, but in her defense, she lived a busy life. Besides, she wasn't a coddling type, it wasn't like any of them needed her at all times. Well, besides Redshrike, she'd probably have to take some time to visit him. He had Grimeyes in Bouncepaw's den to keep him company, but even so. Sick and injured were too different things.
Dawnstar yawned loudly as Marsheyes went on about peace? Hmm, she wasn't sure she was going to bother wasting her breath this one. It seemed like she and Redshrike were the only cats who could remember what WindClan put them through. Dawnstar was merely paying them back ten times over. If the bunnies wanted peace they should have stayed quiet and never messed with ShadowClan in the first place.
"I've already told you all why I do what I do to WindClan, they deserve it. I'm not saying it again. If you don't get how things work in this clan yet, you don't deserve to be here. Get.Out." Dawnstar raised on huge paw and pointed with a large claw in the direction of the camp entrance. "You can go sprew your nonsense to loners and rogues in exile." There were more than enough cats to remove the former ShadowClan warrior forcefully if they had to. So Dawnstar wasn't going to even bother leaping down, taking out the trash that was beneath her.
"Briarkit, Lilykit, and Sharpkit." The leader beckoned the kits forward with a nudge of her head.

Goldenstep's anxiety heightened as she felt Elmshadow tense and jump to his feet. She tried to press herself into his flank to ease his tensions. Until Dawnstar gave the order for them to leave. There'd be no stopping Elmshadow if they did not leave of their own accord and she wasn't sure she'd want to stop him. She kept her pelt brushing against his but tried to pull in deep breaths to ease her own nerves around the tension in the clearing.
