Nettlespark had been sitting by quietly, sandpaper tongue lapping thoroughly over his forearm enough to wet the fur for him to draw over his ear. Numerous swipes later and both of his ears were fuzzed and primed for show. When Icestar herself makes an appearance, he glances up in resigned curiosity mid-lick, only to notice she was assigning more patrols. Hm- Beastspark had tried to send some out before, and Nettlespark wound up waiting on his patrol mate who never showed. He figured it wasn't important enough to grab Cowpaw for a walk in the woods. In retrospect, that was a mistake. But this must be important if the leader herself was making a point to even attend a patrol to RiverClan... Hm.
The brown splotched tabby blinks and sets his paw down, looking around for Creekwind. Hopefully he'd spot her, he didn't want another no-show sending him into the territory alone with his apprentice. After what feels like a while of patient (maybe stubborn) waiting, he spots her! Standing, he begins to pick his way over to the she-cat, and just manages to catch her call for Cowpaw. Pausing, Nettlespark's kitty brows knit together in a scowl. What was she doing addressing his apprentice, and not even Nettlespark at all?
"We're on a patrol together," he meows from behind her, closing whatever distance there was left between them to give her a frosty look. "And Cowpaw is my apprentice." It felt a little weird to have another warrior tread on his tail regarding his apprentice, it was something the young tom hadn't expected to affect him like this in the slightest. Was it because Creekwind hadn't called out to him, too? Or was it really because she sought Cowpaw. Hm.
Rolling his eyes, he turns his back on the she-cat and casts a long glance over the clearing. Lifting his chin, he calls out loudly. "CooooOOWPAW. LET'S GO." With nothing but a wave of his tail, the warrior slips out of camp. He wasn't waiting around this time for the patrol leader to do their job and lead.

Stemkit scowled focusing on stalking through the clearing not paying attention really. She wanted to perfect the crouch.

Darkkit was slopped out in the clearing sun bathing, till he spotted stemkit hopping around and stalking. He wasn't very sure if he should get up and talk to the kit so he sat back and watched for a little before slowly getting up to go talk to her, "u-uh, hi stemkit.." he stuttered a bit.
