The feline leaned into the greeting, it was more of a comfort for them than anything. The gentle reassurance that Crow was alright, and still alive. They were fine for now. Thankfully, their younger sibling brought them out of their head. Something they were always best at. Earning a chuckle from the other, they leaned back, brow quirking slightly as they did so. "Bones? Why is that your first thought?" they chuckled.

As Crow began to dig, the eldest sat there for a few moments, drinking in everything. Taking it all in. They were in a new place, where if there were bones buried in the ground where they resided, it wouldn't surprise them. Raven needed to get better, needed to get healthy once more. That way they could take the youngest far away from this place. They didn't need to fight that's why Raven was here. They didn't need to train, they were supposed to stay safe.

Finally, Raven came back to the land of the living. With another smile they moved to where Crow was digging, and began to help. "What kind of bones would we find even?"

Marigoldkit glanced at Wisteriakit, then stepped up. An apprentice at last! Who would be her mentor? She hoped for a good and helpful mentor that was really kind and encouraging.

Wisteriakit lifted her chin, then walked up beside her sister. She nervously glanced around at her clanmates. She would be a very well-behaved and helpful apprentice! Then she remembered her two other sisters, who had disappeared and never came back. Fighting against that thought, Wisteriakit turned to Cinderstar.

A small frown creased her muzzle as every-cat except Gentlepaw appeared and headed off for their designated patrols. She stayed pacing around the base of the Thunderwillow, green eyes searching the clearing for the missing apprentice until the other three warriors began trickling back into camp with their catches.

"Thank you for the timely return," she stated, giving them and their prey a once over before flicking her tail to the prey pile. "Drop your catches off, and make sure this behaviour doesn't become a habit. If this DOES repeat itself, expect a more severe punishment."

One final nod of dismissal was all she offered to them before padding off to the apprentice den to take a look for the missing Gentlepaw.

Rosepaw had decided to check on the nursery, aware that there were expecting queens there. She hadn't expected, however, for someone to be giving birth right this moment. Oh boy. This was going to be Rosepaw's first time as a midwife. She dashed out and brought back a large stick for the queen to bite.
"This will give you an outlet for the pain. Just hold onto it in your mouth and squeeze. But don't forget to breathe either" she explained.

There came the kits. Rosepaw helped with the birth sacks and nosed them over to make sure nothing was damaged in the birth.

"There you go, they seem fine." she said, trying not to freak out. At this point, she was breathing more heavily than the queen herself. It was fine, she was fine, no one died.

Weaselpaw dipped his head for Snowcloud. Wishing the cat farewell towards the stars.

His mood changed as their were new apprentices too. So many new apprentices! He wondered if he could perhaps be friends with some of them. Given the fact that he’s almost 7 moons. He’s still at the reckless age to be more social. He silently applauded for the apprentices. He’s sure that they’ll grow up to make fine apprentices. But not if he gets there first!

" Violetpaw, Snowpaw, Swanpaw, Wishpaw, Flamepaw! "

He cheered! So many new names to pronounce. His words slurred a bit as he stood. He wanted to meet the apprentices and congratulate them on going up a new rank, but their probably busy with meeting their mentors and such. So he watched his clanmates congratulate them all. Though in the midst of all of this, his bare furry striped back seemed a bit lonely. The innocent apprentices eyes wavered around.

"Violetpaw, Snowpaw, Swanpaw, Wishpaw, Flamepaw!" he called out with the rest of the onlookers. Copperfire hadn't expected to become a mentor. Of course, he had expected the possibility of becoming one, but actually hearing it out loud? That was intimidating. He hoped it wasn't visible on his face.

He noticed his new apprentice distract herself with one of her fellow apprentices. Good, that gave him time to think. He would see how Swanpaw reacted - how tired or excited she was - and then decide how soon they would start training. Hunting was the most important thing to learn - it helps you be useful to the clan. Fighting is also quite obviously necessary, but... surely it can wait, right? Learning to climb is also important, after all, their clan is known for their trees.

Then his apprentice finally approached. His face softened at her cheerful greeting. "Glad to meet you. And if anything I'll have to try and not disappoint you," the red tabby greeted his new apprentice, remembering his experience while helping Goosepaw train. That hadn't gone well, but now he knew what to expect. "We can start training whenever you're ready. We're going to be learning to hunt first," he instructed, "If you want to go talk with more of your friends now, you can. Just keep quiet when Cinderstar is talking." If there was going to be anything he taught his apprentice, it was to not be disruptive. Cats like that were some of his least favorite kind, and that was saying a lot, considering he hated most cats.
