Hushkit squeaked and stumbled out of her nest in a sort of frightened daze, having had another bad dream. Shaking her head to clear it, she sat beside her nest, blinking rapidly to get the sleep out of her eyes, and put her paw over her nose to rub her eye a bit as she yawned widely, showing tiny sharp canines. The cream coloured tabby curled her tail around her a bit nervously, wondering what time of day it was. She glanced up to see Softkit awake and watched her for a moment before lightly padding over to her, hoping that talking to another cat would get the frightening images from her dream out of her head.

"H... Hi.. Softk-it... Did , you... Had ... Good... Nap..?" She asked, hoping the other she-kit would understand her. Not very often was it that others understood the cream coloured molly; her speech was often broken due to her being hearing impaired, and the fact her voice is hoarse from misuse doesn't help. Once again, she just longed to be normal. Yet she kept a shy smile in place on her maw as she waited for Soft's response. At least Hushkit could read lips pretty well, so she didn't usually have trouble understanding others.

Moonpaw laughed. "Just kidding." She licked the top of his head, where a tuft of fur was sticking up. @WhiteStripes

"Ok?" Tendrilpaw was certain the Moonpaw thought that he was a complete idiot. "Moonpaw is just so beautiful." Tendrilpaw gasped, he hadn't meant to say that aloud. Thankfully Moonpaw didn't seem to have heard.

Moonpaw looked at him. "I agree, the moon is beautiful. You know that's how I got my name." @WhiteStripes

Moonpaw shook her head affectionately. "Rabbit-brain! Of, course. You've known me since we were kits!" @WhiteStripes
