You have all of Riverclan to support you and your kittens.” His ear twitched as they continued to listen to the gentle pitter-patter of raindrops as they fell onto the roof of the den. The soothing sound made the dark-furred deputy want to go back to his nest and sleep for the rest of today.

Maplefall was grooming herself with rythmic strokes of her tongue, as her denmate Littlebrook walked up. Her wounds from the earlier fight with the rogue stung, but with her choosing not to get it treated made it fester a bit. She'd be fine though. Coralkit and Dawnkit weren't doing much, she was worried about them. But they would both be fine. Right? "Yeah?"

Ah, the younger molly wanted advice. The queen nodded, sighing. "What do you need to know?" There was a lot of things, sometimes you just had to wing it. Maplefall remembered her first litter, she was a young mother, it was leaf-bare... sometimes the best choice you could make was to give the kits up. But RiverClan was supporting Littlebrook, so she would never have to face the hard, painful choice.

As though reading the golden molly's mind, Littlebrook narrowed her eyes. "Don't forget that I left the Clan once because I didn't trust my mate." she reminded Darcy Maplefall. "You were a good friend then, I'm asking you as a friend now how to wrangle four kits."

The slight irritation coming from the other molly, the tawny and gold queen nodded coolly. "There's a lot to know. What problems are you having? And I still think, personally, that you don't need a mate to help you. I'm here. You don't need that cheating crowfood." Her tail lashed, but Maplefall drew in a breath of soft, calming air. "Are they being... too rambunctious? Are they disobedient?"

"They're pretty rambunctious. Except for Pebblekit." the tabby meows. "I'm having a hard time getting him to hangout with others. He seems to prefer me over anyone."

Ah, so a clingy kit. Asocial, if you would. The queen nodded. "That's normal. Maybe try leading him out into the clearing and introducing him to other kits? That might make him feel more comfortable socializing without you present."
