Right. It was time for her peers to get a move on today. With her recent talk with Cinderstar fresh in her mind, Sparrowflight bounded over to the base of the Thunderwillow just as the sun began to crest the camp walls. An early start would mean every-cat would report on time... Or at least that was the theory.
"Cats of ThunderClan! Gather round for patrol assignments! I need these patrols done and reported in a timely manner; a suitable punishment shall be doled out to anyone coming back late or not showing up." Remembering the warning issued at the recent Gathering, she cleared her throat and tacked on a reminder for cats that may not have been present. "There have been an unusually high amount of violent rogue encounters this past moon. I want patrol leaders extra vigilant and younger members follow their lead. Outsiders are to be chased off Thunderclan's territory, without exception."
Today's patrols would be focusing on mentor-apprentice duos to try and jumpstart the up-and-coming apprentice's training in hunting and border work. Hopefully there wouldn't be any issues this time around...

“Cactuspaw and Rainhound; you'll be heading out with me to Small Pines! Best we keep that border marking as strong as we can these days.” With Skystar being as volatile as she had seen, she wasn't sure what to expect from Riverclan at this point. THUNDERGLADE PATROL [WINDCLAN BORDER] (optional prompt: My goodness, that's a large crow.. Is it a crow??? Why has it begun to croak like a frog??? Now it sounds like a two-leg??? This Raven seems to be having a laugh at your expense.)

HERONDIVE HOLLOW [SHADOWCLAN BORDER] (optional prompt: A suspicious looking mound has sprung up on Thunderclan's side of the border? Will you give it a prod? Ants begin pouring out of any damage or pawprints made on their hill.)
Now onto Shadowclan… Dawnstar didn't seem to care much about Thunderclan's goings-on last Gathering, but their border needed protecting no matter their current state. “Copperfire. I’d like you, Swanpaw and Fleapaw to take care of the Shadowclan border. Make sure it’s well marked and let me know of any issues.” @MaryTheCrow @Bigoofers1001 @Atticus
That took care of the borders. Now onto hunting. They had just received a whole new batch of apprentices, so it was time to stretch some of their paws and get their mentors on-board.
FIREFLY COVE HUNTING PARTY
“Brightpath! I’d like you to lead a hunting party out at the cove. Take Foxpaw and Acornpaw with you, and let me know how they've progressed with their hunting. There should be plenty of prey for practice out there.” [ @zenosaurus @Pheasantflight @lucidense ]
MUSKRAT MIRE HUNTING PARTY
“Asterdance and..." Green eyes peered about the camp before spotting the familiar silver pelt of their leader. Could she assign Cinderstar to a patrol???... Why not give it a shot. "Cinderstar, take Crowpaw out to Muskrat Mire for some hunting, but be careful of any muskrats sniffing about. We don’t want our apprentices injured while they're learning to hunt, so give them a wide berth.” [ @marni @x ghostie @Castle ]
With a spring in her step, the tan she-cat bounded over to the camp entrance to await her patrolmates. If they did this quickly then she'd be able to make it back in time for reports without any-cat having to wait on her.

Thankful that Sparrowflight didn’t seem to have any hard feelings and had actually given him another chance to lead a patrol, thus letting him go about redeeming himself, Roosterflame jogged into the patrol area, joy fluttering in his heart.
He was glad that Sparrowflight had put him with his apprentice, a cat whom Roosterflame hadn’t yet gotten to get to know very well, so hopefully he would click well with the small feline who he had the opportunity to teach.
Batblood was a cat whom Roosterflame hadn’t spoken to before, so he wondered what the other warrior would think of the fact that Roosterflame would be the one leading the patrol and not Batblood, he hoped there wouldn’t be any bad blood caused because of it.
He entered the patrol area with high hopes nonetheless, and he stood in the center, looking around for Ravenpaw and Batblood, “This shouldn’t be too difficult,” Roosterflame said aloud, “After all, I have a rooster comb on my head, how could they not see that I am in fact Roosterflame!” He chuckled softly.
➣ Hearing Sparrowflight’s call for another round of patrols, the lean tortoiseshell warrior‘s ears perked up with interest and hope for a second chance to do this patrol right, given that they had nearly messed up their previous one. Thankfully, after awhile of hearing name and name regarding border patrols, they heard their name as the one to be leading a hunting patrol! Yes! And in Firefly Cove? They hadn’t been there since the battle, but that wasn’t stopping them. It would be nice to see that patch of land not filled with the noisy fray of fighting RiverClan and ThunderClan cats. Standing up, Brightpath padded over and looked around for Foxpaw and Acornpaw. This would be the first time they’d take out their apprentice for a lesson. It excited the ThunderClan feline, but they forced themselves to remain calm and mature. They were a warrior, not some nursery kitten. It was up to them alone to make sure that these two young cats could hunt well enough and do their part to make sure their clan thrived.

Not sticking around to find out, as soon as they were well enough they were snatching Crow up and booking it.
For now they would do as they were told, seeing as how they weren't sure how they handled disipline yet. So, with a huff they stood up and walked towards the somewhat familiar face, making sure to look bored...or just emotionless. That would probably be best. Once close enough Raven did nothing more than nod their head in greeting, turning their gaze down to their paws. Obedience was best. Keep a low profile than they can get out.
The words were nothing more than muffled background noise until they heard Crow's name. Their stupid name they made longer for no reason. Crow was sufficent enough thank you. Almost instantly the bengals head snapped up, dread filling their stomach when they realized the leader was going to be with their sibling. Raven knew how to keep their head down, how to not attract attention, Crow on the other hand.
With fur fluffed up the younger feline stood up and b-lined for the patrol Crow was on. "I'm going to join their patrol." they stated, not demanding, but also stern. Hopefully they would get a pass with their attitude.

Roosterflame stepped in front of the small apprentice, his tail flicking, “Sorry, Ravenpaw, but patrols are set for a reason. I know you want to be with your sibling, Crowpaw, but think of it this way, if you stick with me and Batblood you’ll have some fun stories to tell Crowpaw when you meet back up after the patrols, yeah? If you’re on the same patrol, sure you’ll get to be with Crowpaw, but if you’re not, you can have your own stories to tell and you’ll be able to do some cool stuff!
Don’t tell the others, but you’re on the cool patrol,” He meowed, adding the last part in a conspiratorial whisper, giving his apprentice a wink, “And trust me, everyone wants to be on the cool patrol.”
Hopefully Ravenpaw wouldn’t try to get away the entire time, or the difficulty level of this patrol would be ramped up to five instead of say, three.
He looked around for Batblood once more, hoping the Warrior showed themself soon, so that they could get on with this patrol and further deter escape attempts.
Ashpaw padded torward the fresh-kill pile followed by his friend. The training had been hard, but he was proud of himself and happy to have had such a great mentor. He took a plump squirrel and turned: Want to share it with me? @Rabbiteye

CROWPAW | THEY/HIM
They have to do WHAT now?
Crowpaw scuttled over to the loud cat at the mention of their name. Patrols? This was new. Why was Crowpaw being told what to do by yet ANOTHER cat other than Raven? The tiny apprentice rolled their eyes and wrinkled their nose. This was lame. Clan life was laaaame.
Right at the sound of their sibling's familiar voice, Crowpaw's head snapped in their direction. They spotted them across the crowd, fraternizing with some other cats they'd never seen before. "RAAAAAVENNNN! WE HAVE TO PATROL TOGETHER!" They called out, beginning to make a break for their sibling, all while completely forgetting about Cinderstar and Asterdance.
