The territory had become a second home to the silver bengal now since her ascension to leadership. It was an unspoken duty of sorts, to be out here as much as she could in search of those missing and looking to return to ThunderClan. Often times she came up empty pawed, but on the few occasions she came across the scent of those looking for the pathway home, it reminded her of why she had agreed to take up the mantle of leader.

This was one such time as a sudden breeze brought with it the scent of a cat who went missing a short while ago. Pushing her way through the undergrowth she came upon the sight of Dimhazel hunched over what appeared to be a small kit. Curiosity lined her gaze as it flickered to inspect the bundle of fur before shifting back up to the warrior. "Dimhazel. Where have you been? And who," she asked, indicating to the kit with a slender paw, "is this?" There was no anger in her tone, only sheer intrigue.

Dimhazel blinked, grateful when their leader's voice wasn't scolding, it wasn't too long ago they'd returned from their first disappearance. Their gaze slid back down to the kit curled in their tail.
"Those are..... related..... sort of. If she has a name already, I don't know it.
I'd initially only gone to the edge of the territory to find some new things for my collection, but I lost track of the day, and it was almost nightfall when I thought to return home. But I stayed out overnight instead, not wanting to risk a trek in the dark. In the middle of the night I heard a kit's wailing and"- they paused as the kit started hiccuping, a paw gently brushing across her cheek.
To be honest, on the journey home, names had been the furthest thing on their mind. Keeping her warm and safe and finding a milk substitute she could get down had preoccupied their thoughts entirely.
"I went to check, out of concern. I left the territory to follow the cries, and I found her in a ditch, seeking warmth from the bodies of her mother and siblings."
Dimhazel remembered finding the bodies, not a single wound or broken bone and the mother looked well fed. Only thing they could think of was she died of poisoning or the cold, and this one just happened to outlast her siblings.
They looked back at Cinderstar. They knew she was reasonable, she wouldn't tell them to get rid of a kit in need, but they couldn't help the pleading that bled into their voice and shone in their eyes.
"I couldn't leave her. I considered finding a kitty pet or two legs to take her in, but..... I didn't know where to look, and she needed help quickly. So I brought her with me."

Lavenderkit followed Quietkit's blow with a weak swipe of her paw, missing quite terribly as it looked like she was aiming for a whole other kit. Lavenderkit turned toward Quietkit and swiped her paw again, missing by only a hair. Her tail twitched, annoyed at herself that she could make the attack.

After Fallowkit tried to convey to her sister that she doesn't need to try too hard, she turns her attention to Lavenderkit who tries who tries to hit at Quietkit, though she doesn't seem to be successful, giving her an idea. While Lavenderkit she is distracted by Quietkit, Fallowkit she sneaks up on her until she is close enough to jump on top of Lavenderkit.

Spiderleap

Spiderleap stretched his way out of the warriors den, taking his time to fully stretch out each of his long legs. He weaved through the clearing, his tail held high. He was a warrior of ThunderClan, for StarClans sake! He was proud to be where he was. The black tom made his way to the prey pile, pausing for a moment before grabbing a thrush. He padded over to a bit of shade, settling down before digging into the juicy thrush.

Winterkit yawned, and leaped onto his nest. Finally, SLEEP. With a rumbling weak purr, he slumped down onto his nest, and was snatched by blackness, as sleep was blessed to him.

Violetpaw yawns and lays down, Its practically boring now since snowbush is gone and she wants to avoid fights and conflict now “its boring, maybe I can find one of my friends to hang out with” she said

She gasped, surprised by Fallowkit's attack. Her tail flailed helplessly as she rolled onto her beige back. She batted her white paws aimlessly, not knowing where Fallowkit's snout was. She bapped them on the nose weakly and struggled to scramble from under their grip. Her eyes flitted from side to side as if it were going to make her see. She shut her eyes tight as she braced for a blow by one of the kits.

"Violetpaw!" she purrs with happiness at seeing her friend. "Have you gone training yet? The territory is amazing! And Rushfire is an amazing mentor!"

She bubbled with happiness and sat down beside the fellow apprentice. Maybe it's too soon to revisit what happened to Snowcloud... she had to have been there when Snowcloud was killed. After all, her mother was the one she didn't get along with...

Crowkit woke up at the sound of Lavenderkit's gasp and his small, squinty eyes landed on Fallowkit and Lavenderkit. He opened his small mouth and extended his jaws into a yawn and stretched one of his forelegs. What're they doing? he thought with a smile and got up to investigate. Playing?
