Carrioncaller had arrived at the meeting a little later then intended, not for any reason in specific, he was just a little slower getting there today. Regardless, his ears worked just fine, and he took his spot to watch and listen just outside the warrior's den while Bumblestar was announcing ShadowClan antagonizing again. Turquoise eyes narrow marginally at that news. The frogs certainly are confident in their own safety, are they not? Either way, there was a plan in the works to take back the creek which was good... that territory was a good one, and the older tom had quite missed it in recent moons.

Moving on... the issue of a strange predator in the ruins. Hmm, that doesn't sound good. But there was already a plan to take it on in multiple waves - good. Their leadership was as reliable as ever with battle strategies and defending the territory; it was one of the things that made Carrioncaller proud to belong to ThunderClan, no matter the issues certain cats had with present leadership. At the very least, their methods were effective, and, really, what more could one ask for?

Orangeblossom startled slightly, curly puffing up as he took a sharp inhale inward as he turned to face the voice that was suddenly at his side. “Oh- Oh! Hi, Springlight!” The warrior swiftly calmed down and smiled cheerfully at the medicine cat beside him and he couldn't help a few happy wags of his nubby tail, “I am happy you care to join me, I… have a bad feeling about this meeting to be honest with you.” The warrior kept his voice in a lower tone so as to not accidentally talk over any of Bumblestar’s future words when the leader spoke again. As the medicine cat inquired about his paw, the warrior blinked at her in confusion for a few moments before giving a soft laugh at himself and raising the injured paw. It still dully hurt but it felt much better than the night that he got it. In his inexperience with injuries and medicine it seemed to be doing better than him but he held it out slightly for Springlight to see if she wanted, “It definitely feels better than it did! Thank you again, sorry for having kept you up so late.” He apologized again.

His attention was torn away from the molly as Bumblestar started to speak again and as she continued, horror filled his body and lungs and took away his breath. At first it was concerning but nothing horrible. Shadowclan testing borders again, annoying, and tearing apart herbs which was cruel in Orangeblossom’s eyes and it made him glare at nothing. Orangeblossom didn’t like the fact that Shadowclan had gotten into the camp without having been seen enough to get even remotely close to the herbs. Next thing they know, the fox-hearts would be taking their kits, and stealing prey straight from under Thunderclan’s nose. Then there was news of something he couldn’t even imagine hearing. Goldenheart, he wasn’t familiar with the feline, but it didn’t matter. Orangeblossom didn’t need to know them to know that they didn’t deserve such a thing, no cat deserved such a thing as being torn apart after death and eaten! “S-surely… it was predators, not another cat, even Shadowclan wouldn’t do that…right?” The horrified warrior whispered to no one in particular. He was still processing the news of Goldenheart’s death as his leader continued and Orangeblossom forced himself to listen.

Riverclan…Sunkissed Creek…more territory would be nice as it always was. He couldn’t pull the normal pride that came with a battle well fought or when another necessary fight was on the way, especially with Riverclan. His mind was still reeling. It was a predator, not Shadowclan. Sure enough, the next topic was just that, predators. Something lingering around the ruins and then potential lynxes that caught another one of their warriors, Eaglespirit. What a mess, well no matter, Bumblestar and Spiderthroat were already getting a patrol ready to get rid of whatever it was in the ruins and he would be sure to keep an eye out anywhere near the Smallpines. Could it be that the lynx or lynxes, or whatever is lurking at the ruins got to Goldenheart as well? No, the scent would’ve been recognizable? Oranegblossom turned to the medicine cat beside him, “Sounds…sounds like you’ll need to get some herb patrols out soon. I’m more than willing if you need.”

Riversong padded in to hear the last half of Bumblestar’s words. As murmurs began spreading throughout the crowd, a chill ran up their spine. WindClan was attacking their warriors? Wait, WindClan was mutilating warriors? Great StarClan, please let us all walk away alive, they thought, even though Riversong knew their wish would be unheard.

Seemed like there were no questions - just a small lapse in intelligence from one cat in particular. Bumblestar's gaze snapped over to Ashenheart. "If that's the case, why am I just hearing about it now?" she barked. "I should have your tail for choosing to keep something serious like that. Next time I find out you're keeping dangerous information-"

She had to cut herself off with an audible click of her teeth before she could say something, and instead of giving Ashenheart another second of attention, she turned to Spiderthroat. "Any patrols you send toward Herondive Hollow, make sure no lynx scent lingers over there, either. I want to give ShadowClan a beating without having to worry about those things closing in on us from both side."

Now in a new and improved version of her previous sour mood, Bumblestar let the tip of her tail tap repeatedly against the Stormcrest in irritation as she moved on.

"In addition to everything else, Fallingpaw's been demoted to Fallingkit. Redhawk caught he 'n Copperpaw out of camp with, not a warrior escort, but two kits - both rules that should already be well-known by now. Copperpaw finished up the punishment I gave 'em on time, but Fallingkit decided he had better things to do. He's considered a kit for one moon, 'n isn't to be training or going anywhere outta camp."

He wasn't here from the looks of it. Neither was Lavendersong. Their losses, really.

"To cap off Clan news, Rowanfrost discovered Lavendersong's been involved in a relationship with a RiverClan warrior." Her upper lip twitched. "Now, I don't give a damn if you wanna run off with someone not in ThunderClan as long as you tell me about it 'n then pick a side. But Lavendersong opted for neither and that pisses me off. From now 'til her kits are born, I've demoted her to Lavenderpaw. She's forbidden from going anywhere out of camp without a warrior escort. If she is out of camp, she's banned completely from going near Smallpines, 'n I don't want her at the Gathering either. I can tolerate a lot - disloyalty isn't one. If I catch anyone helping her see that warrior, I'll be after you next."

Goofy-faced and silly-looking, the apprentice's face dropped at the cat's comment. Gee, he sure was grumpy! Grumpy cat, hehe. Poppypaw let her tongue fall out before turning away when Bumblystar began to speak; grumpy cat wasn't just grumpy... But silly too! She knew her face wouldn't get stuck like that. Right...? Oh! Not only was Grumpy Cat grumpy, but Bumblystar sure didn't look happy. Her expression retracted and she watched curiously as the leader spoke about these things, things the little Poppypaw had never heard about before. Lynxes...? Were they like the monster Plumy had told her about? The brittle briefly wondered, idly listening to the rest of the meeting when something else caught her attention - something about a different clan. At that, Poppypaw sat up straight, glancing around curiously. She'd never seen another clan before! Or heard about one, really. Except maybe that story that warrior had told her with the squirrels and the toads... It wasn't the first time someone told a story with squirrels and toads and other critters! Sounded like Bumblystar wasn't happy with the river cats or Lavendersomething.

He had been listening to the meeting silently. The large tom simply hadn't felt the need to comment on anything the leader stated before this. An apprentice being demoted and "forbidden" relationship. Lightningeagle had one before but it ended with the kid dead. Cream-pelted cat lets out a quiet hm noises as he listens further.

Lavendersong, now Lavnederpaw- wasn't allowed out of camp without an escort. Now that was interesting and his perfect calling. Lightningeagle waits for the small leader to finish speaking before he clears his throat and speaks. his voice is deep, yet held a ring of confidence and respect. "Ahem. Bumblestar, if you wanted as much. I can be Lavenderpaw's escort in and out of camp. If she somehow managed to sneak out to see the Riverclanner, I'll simply kill 'em." And maybe Lavenderpaw if she thought is was a great idea to fight him over it.

Large tomcat flicking his lowered tail as he awaits a response. No need to cause a scene over such a matter. Lavender(song)paw was having the lad kits as well. How embarrassing. Disloyalty when you were a warrior, especially when it's a clan yours is at war with? Lightningeagle could see it if they weren't actively killing each other.

Falling paw... well kit was mad and angry but into much shock to even say anything him demoted due to other warriors being busy he couldn't help that he dug at the ground and hissed to him self with hatred but with his anger rang tears in his eyes he stood up and left the meeting as tears ran down his face

Hm... it seemed there was nothing of significant note. Honestly, Carrioncaller could've missed this meeting to take a nap it sounded. Some idiot apprentice getting demoted followed by the announcement of a secret cross clan relationship with RiverClan of all the clans. Carrion could not find the former Lavendersong in the group of cats - did not know what she looked like, even, but he had no glance to spare her either way. If her loyalties lay outside of ThunderClan, there was nothing the old tom had to say to her. He did not see the merit in even forming friendships with other clans, let alone allowing romance, but perhaps he was simply old fashioned in that sense. There was nothing to comment on here, though, so he simply kept his gaze on his leader and waited for what came next.
