Storm nuzzled the cat involuntarily and sat down, waiting for her to hunt. “I’m not good at hunting. Maybe I could learn something from watching you.” He purred softly.

Blaze smiled at the tom, her ear twitching. "Maybe." She lifted her head, sniffing the air for any signs of life. She closed her eyes as she breathed in, her ears swiveling as she searched for a heartbeat. The queen had a keen sense of hearing, being able to hear even the smallest movement from a few miles away. She opened her eyes and began to follow the scent of a squirrel, her tail flicking.

Horizon scampered over Blueberry, hiding behind the she-cat as Ember ran after her. The she-kit yelped as the tom-kit pounced on her, the two rolling in on the ground. Burn stood as the two neared the stream, quickly directing the bundle of kits as they fought.
