Frozenpaw had a goal: get back to RiverClan territory. From there, she was confident Lionstar wouldn't be able to miss her! That would make tracking her down nice and easy for that blind boy since he was completely clueless, it seemed. Although she recognized a couple more scents joining the natural mix, she was unaware of the outsider hiding among the brush and continued forward.

Nothing appeared familiar yet, but she didn't lose faith. She could hear someone speaking in the distance and swiveled her ears to the sound, following it to a scent trail.. that seemingly led in the direction she was headed. It would be going the opposite way of the voice, but that lost cat wasn't her problem -- she had a lost Lionstar to find first, then she could deal with whoever was dumb enough to wander out this far.

Eveninglight continued to enjoy the peace before hopping up onto a tree branch before digging her claws in, to climb up. She wanted to look over the territory or either do tree jumping, as she got higher up she narrowed her eyes as she saw someone wandering around. Who is that... She thought as she climbed onto a branch hopping to another tree to get closer, she’d spy on the cat until she figured out who it was. She’d simply spy on them. She saw they were heading away so she kept jumping trees, closer to Riverclan territory and not as deep in Lionsrange.

Following the apprentice, Dark slipped through the bushes. This one would be easy to take, if it came to a fight. Stepping out of the bushes, he revealed his presence. @Dipper

Frozenpaw trudged on, a real trooper in the face of the unforgiving wilderness. She had a developing idea of how to reach her destination and wasn't about to let anyone--or anything--stop her, including the cats she was beginning to scent. One was more abrasively standing in the way but she wordlessly moved around the stranger to stick to her path.

[goosefury & spiderpaw finding bastet and basil, due august 6th]

spiderpaw skipped around the place, her curiosity displayed very evidently on her facial features. cool, cool, a patrol! with... goosefury. to be honest, he was kinda intimidating, but seeing as she'd never actually talked to him spiderpaw couldn't really have a credible opinion. "so... uh... lionsrange.. looks pretty cool, don't you agree..? lottsa room. i would not want to die here. but then again, i also wouldn't wanna die, period. anyway,....! uh.." why were there so many uhs?? spiderpaw usually never said uh. uh was bleh-y. uh was way too... dull. awkward. "so! this is just a nice patrol. 'dya think we'll find anything cool?"

Basil padded through the rocky terrain, whincing as she stepped on a rock. Her belly rumbled reminding that she was here to hunt. Though, she couldn't see what would want to live here. Spotting a bird tugging at the worm, she dropped into a hunter's crouch as slowly crept up to it.

Goosefury glanced down at Spiderpaw, a small smile playing on his lips. The excited interest on her face was a little amusing, he had to admit. "It is pretty neat, huh?" He swept his gaze across the landscape. "A little flat. Kind of boring. But still, pretty huge." He took a moment to glance over his shoulder, absentmindedly searching for prey. He was about to respond to her question with a "probably not", but before he could a strange scent flooded his nose. The gray tom threw out a paw to try to stop Spiderpaw from moving any further, and murmured, "Do you smell that?"

Bastet followed behind Basil, eyes droopy from the lack of restful sleep. When his companion dropped into a crouch, so did he.

noticing goosefury glance down and smile, spiderpaw smiled back before coming to a halt as the guy put out a paw, just barely stopping herself from tripping over it seeing as she'd been skipping. spiderpaw was really hoping that goosefury wasn't going to say that the smell was due to her reeking of desperation to please, but after sniffing the air for a few seconds what he'd said made wayyy more sense. "i think... i smelll.. something? smells weird. bleh. should we go... investigate?" the apprentice was all up for investigating that.. unfamiliar scent, but she was sure as heck not going to split up. nope. she wasn't dyin' today. "okay! let's go investigate! c'mon!" spiderpaw walked around goosefury's paw and started scenting the air, trying to follow the scent as she wiggled her tail, gesturing for goosefury to come follow.
