”Very well then.” Hawkmist got up a little and cleared his throat.

“Lately, all I can think about is my brother-in-law. He... got caught up in an accident and drowned... some moons back. We... didn’t really... have a good relationship... but...”

His voice got caught up. “That’s the minimum details. I... don’t really like talking about him. He...”

He suddenly caught his voice again. Hawkmist gave a small, dark smile. “I knew it all along, you see. He was a traitor. I’m sure of it.”

Wow. You just want to be dark. Don’t you? If this cat suspects even the smallest amount!

Forestpaw gives Almondpaw an appreciative glance thankful he had steered the conversation a different way. Stupid Forestpaw! Stupid! Ohhhhh that was so embarrassing! "Thunderclan's doing great! Thanks for asking! How's Riverclan doing?" The green eyed apprentice asked politely. A slightly boring set of questions and answers were probally soon to follow seeing as now they'd probally just stick to things like how are you, how's training going, have your heard blah blah blah? Too bad...Forestpaw had hoped that she could meet a new friend at a gathering but looks like that wasn't going to happen. Forestpaw unintentionally let out a disappointed sigh.

Sootflare offered a tight smile, listening to the leaders give their announcements before speaking up, "Eventful evening for you then?" he mused, a slight humor in his voice. He generally wasn't particularly fond of making small talk but he felt the need to gauge this new deputy as well as Coyote's feelings about them so far for future reference

Yewbark found herself zoning out as the highranks addressed someone in the crowd and subsequently began their announcements for the night, everything passing by in mumbled tones. She gave a start as someone sat down beside and began to talk. Was she talking to her. Cold? Something about cold? Being cold? No. No, not - oh, she should probably say that out loud.

"No." she shook her head politely, offering a forced smile, "No, I'm not cold. Well, perhaps a little bit but no, not...- no. No."

Had she said something about shaking? Was she shaking? She didn't feel like she was shaking.

"I'm uh... Yewpa- Yewbark. Not Yewpaw anymore, Yewbark. Hi."

"Great! Lionstar's still doing a good job being leader, and with him leader, our clan will always be good!" Relizing he might of said to much, he desided to see if it was true. "Honeystar died recently, right?" Almondpaw frowned "I'm sorry for your clan's loss..." He let his ears fall with fake sadness. Not my leader, but still sad. …… Ish. He tried to hide his fakeness
