"Good. Geez... You scared me for a second there, huh? I get what you mean, though." he looked over at the undergrowth where the wailing was erupting from. It did sound pretty close, but that was a bad thing, if anything. He quickened his pace slightly.

Skylark seemed to stop for a moment to just stare at the undergrowth where the noise was coming from for a moment. He wanted to see what was over there but began to slowly walk after Ian, away from the noise of the creature in the underbrush.

He looked to the side at Skylark. Still attached to by the hip it seemed, but that was a good thing, at least in this situation. He thought it best to lighten the mood, as there was nothing they could really do. "Hey.. We should technically thank a rock that we're friends now, you know." he chuckled softly as he nudged the other.
