“Spottedleopard..” she liked that! She actually liked that a lot. She was so cool now. No not really but she was excited. “I could join too if you don’t mind!” she mewed. Now that she was a warrior she could do eh- she went off about that for like the second or third time now. Maybe she could go with her apprentice friend on one of the patrols.
“Yes!” Daisypaws eyes brightened “let’s kick some guppie butt. We are the strongest Clan! We defeated BunnyClan! We can stop GuppieClan!” she yowled above the crowd. Her eyes gleaming hungrily Daisypaw scoured razed sharp claws in the ground, the same move she and SpottedLeopard had used to kill that pathetic BunnyClan apprentice.

Whisperpaw watched curiously as the two apprentices were made into warriors. He'd been stuck as a kit for a long time, an apprentice even longer, his rank prolonged by the time he'd been stuck in that Twoleg's nest. Admittedly he was a little jealous - but attention was quickly diverted as Dawnstar moved on to a far more interesting topic.
He hadn't been present at the last Gathering (in fact, he wasn't sure if he'd even been to any of them) so this was completely new to him. Hadn't ThunderClan just gotten a new leader? If they had trouble hanging onto authority figures, he doubted they'd be much of a threat. But the way RiverClan sounded, on the other paw...
He rose to his feet and shouldered his way to the front of the crowd. Another chance to prove himself, and he wasn't planning on passing it by. "I'll help out with the RiverClan patrols," he offered.

Gingerpaw listened intently as Dawnstar addressed her clan. Spottedleopard and Snakebite sat proudly at their leader's paws as they were given their new titles. Warriors... stars I can't wait until I'm one. Her whiskers twitched as she gazed wistfully up at the scene before her. What name would she be given? Something cool hopefully, like Gingerdawn or Gingerfang. Nothing flowery like the other clans liked to do. Just another reason why they were all so weak.
Of course the one gathering she wasn't able to attend was the juiciest one in moons. Thunderclan had entirely new leadership? What happened to... oh shoot what was his name? The apprentice searched her mind for the face of the previous Thunderclan leader. Eveningstar? Was he leader for... a moon?
She scoffed. Thunderclan couldn't even keep their leaders alive. No wonder Riverclan targeted them. Speaking of Riverclan... she would be perfect to raid them! Her small size and experience with battle would make her the perfect candidate. Not to mention it was another way to show off in front of her leader.
"I would love to help raid Riverclan!" She called out, yellow eyes gleaming.
That might have to be dealt with. Dawnstar narrowed her eye, pupils thinning into slits, while she watched Dapplecloud interact with Fiercefire. She didn't know what was going on with her and Frogfang and really didn't care too. Mates get together and break up all the time, it was a part of life. Their kits had to deal with it, fine. The problem here was that Dapplecloud seemed to think she had some say in how the mentor Dawnstar chose to train her kit. So long as it didn't involve killing the brat, Dawnstar could care less how Fiercefire trained Briarpaw, ShadowClan needed stronger warriors and Fiercefire was slowly proving to be one. Dawnstar wasn't going to find Briarpaw a new mentor just because Dapplecloud may not approve of how he was training her or their relationship.
How annoying. The affirmation from the pair of apprentices drew her gaze back to them, her pupils returned to their usual size while she refocused on the task at paw. More fighters for ShadowClan.
"By the power invested in me, I give you your warrior names. Spottedleopard, we honor your fighting skill and loyalty. Snakebite, we honor your dedication and resilience. ShadowClan welcomes you as full warriors of the Clan." The leader dipped her head to her new warriors and gave her clan some time to call out their names. Warriors were few and rare, unlike RiverClan who seemed to have a surplus of cats, the other three clans didn't get a dead clan to merge with them.
"Now then, we have some matters to discuss. Those of you who joined me at the last gather will know that ThunderClan has a new leader and deputy, Aspenstar and Dogbark. It doesn't seem like they're much to worry about, the squirrels seem as weak as ever. The tension between ThunderClan and RiverClan is high as ever. Kestrelstar and Snakeheart got into a verbal skirmish with the Aspenstar and Dogbark, sadly no blood was drawn. Bunnystar seemed to have given up on fighting us for the time being, they're too weak to challenge us anyway."
"So we'll be turning our claws to RiverClan for now. The guppies have gotten far far too cocky. That clan seems to think they're untouchable. I think it's about time we start piling up some guppies' bodies." Dawnstar gave a throaty growl at the prospect of more violence. " I'll assign small patrols of cats to invade RiverClan. Use whatever cover you can find, stay out of sight, stay out of mind, and I would mask your scent as well. The stealth patrols are to find whichever cat or cats they come upon in RiverClan's territory, you can kill them, shred them, I don't care, just make them hurt. Then return home, retreat if the fight is unfavorable or you're spotted by another RiverClan patrol." She might have to come up with some sort of backup plan if her cats prove to be sloppy and are followed back into ShadowClan territory. She was certain she could handle some smelly fish, but it was better to be safer than sorry. It could be trouble if they're followed back to camp.
"I want to start working on evacuation plans should something go wrong or someone finds the camp. The gorge is sturdy, we'll never lose our dens in a raid again, but it's also a possibility that we could get stuck in here if the entrance is blocked. So I want to work on a way out and where you are to go should you ever get separated from the clan. The roots that crawl along the gorge wall should be climbable." Dawnstar pointed towards the tree roots that slithered along down the side of the gorge. Naturally, she'd be testing if they were safe to climb later today and then show some of the other cats how to climb out of the gorge if it was necessary. But not all cats could climb and carrying cats while climbing could be trouble. Her amber eyes shifted around the camp till they located the stream of water that cut through the camp.
Digging, not something she really wanted to do she was no bunny, but the ground should be soft enough where the waters cutting through for her to dig underneath the gorge. If she was lucky she might be able to run into another tunnel system that led out of camp. Navigating where they came out and mapping out a path to the Refuge Camp would be another laborious task, but Dawnstar didn't really trust anyone in the clan outside of kin with the safety of her clan. With her toms recovering, the task would have to be hers. What a pain.
"Those of you who are not pestering RiverClan or handling the evacuations with me, I want you hunting, sparring, or patrolling. Whether you want to believe it or not, this tension between the clans will soon explode and a war will be fought. ShadowClan must be ready for it, whether we'll be drawn into it or I throw you into it." The flare of her temper had her standing tall and snarling menacingly at her cats, tail bristling with agitation at the thought of being caught off guard or chased out of her home again. "I'll be taking volunteers for either the evacuation or the RiverClan patrols, otherwise, I'll start assigning you to a job." ShadowClan had more than enough cats to do something, she'd rip apart anyone found sitting around do nothing.
Well never mind on that training for her apprentice. Trial by fire perhaps.
"Well I'll be more than willing to go harasses the waterfowl. Even if I am seen I shall not be caught." Volunteering to go harras
Icesplash hadnt been paying much attention to the ceremony, but once Riverclan was mentioned she perked up. She nearly grinned at Dawnstars announcement. It had been awhile since shes spilled any blood, and now she had a chance to go and shred up some guppies, with her leaders permission! She spoke up, careful not to sound too excited. "I'll go on the Riverclan patrol, Dawnstar."

Elmshadow sat back, looking upon the new warriors and apprentices with pride. He blended his voice with the rest of his cherished clan as they chanted the young cats' new names.
At the proclamation of Dawnstar's plans, Elmshadow rose to his feet and took a step forward, leaving the warmth of Goldenstep's flank. He was less adept at stealth than outright physical force but he was neither clumsy nor brazen so he was confident he could pull off Dawnstar's task. He was also strong and athletic which would lend well to helping around camp with evacuation plans.
He lifted his chin, gazing directly at his leader with admiration and devotion. He projected his voice as he offered, "I am at your disposal Dawnstar. I can put my willingness in battle to take out the guppies, or I can use my strength to aid in evacuation planning. I could also assist in sparring with whomever needs guidance or a partner."

**Cougarivy**
The energy within the clearing buzzed. Cougarivy shivered in her excitement. Now this is the kind of meeting I was hoping for. The chance to sneak onto Riverclan territory and take some guppies out! Oh, the thought was almost too much fun for Cougarivy to handle. She was slight and quick and the thought of guppy blood was making her mouth water. She shivered, a broad smile irrepressible across her lips.
Cougarivy tried to reach her voice above the din of shouted volunteers, "Oh, Dawnstar, please. I'd love to be on a stealth patrol! I won't let you down." Quieter, she added, "Oh, I couldn't ask for a more exciting task for my first real warrior mission!" Her front paws tapped as an outlet for her buzzing excitement.
Shadestorm had been listening carefully while his leader
spoke and a blood-thirsty grin slowly spread on his face, it
hadn't been too long since the raid but he had missed the
feeling of his claws sinking into fur and the scent of blood.
He opened his mouth to say he'd come to fight the fish-breaths
bit the voice inside his head stopped his before e got out a word. "Say you'll hold training session two"
"What about the battle?" "You can still take part in the fight, but take initiative"
"I will fight those fish-breaths as well!" he mewed and took a
step forward from were he had been standing. "And I could hold
a training session for the warriors"
He tried to stand as proudly as possible. He was
an excellent cat to train and be in charge of others,
after all he was one of the only two cats in Shadowclan
two apprentices, the other one being Fiercefire.
Goldenstep took in a deep breath to steady her nerves. Maybe it was the pregnancy setting her emotions off. The thought of a battle, especially one so risky and inflammatory, left a heavy pit of dread in her stomach. She knew Elmshadow would be fine; there's no way some guppy could do any real damage to him. But the what-ifs wouldn't ease in her mind.
She nodded resolutely. She was due soon but she would do what she could to keep her mind too busy to worry about Elmshadow or her clan, the future of her kits. She'd make herself useful. "What would you like of the queens, Dawnstar?"

Pigeonkit ran from the nursery and weaved her way through the legs of warriors crowding the clearing. She'd heard Dawnstar mention battle and Riverclan. "I can fight, Dawnstar! I can! I'm ready! I'll show you, if you just give me a chance!" She squealed, desperately trying to pull her leader's attention.
"Guys,calm down,didn't you listen properly? Dawnstar said she would ASSIGN cats to different things!" (@Ravensong @forestecho @Rockfall @Rita,any other cat who said they do a job themselves)
