She rolled her eyes, sitting beside the much older feline. "Yeah yeah, what do you want?" She glared at him, eyes narrowed. "If its about the gathering, then that smelly thunderclan apprentice deserved it, for hissing at me!''

Wildsong sighed, exasperated. “What did Acronpaw ever do to you? Why are you like this? I’m trying to protect you! If you go around, making fights, cats will,turn against you!” he sighed. “When I first got you as my apprentice, I had so much faith for you! Now…” he closed his eyes. ” I don’t know.” he hardened. “That’s cleaning the elder’s ticks and hunting for them all day tomorrow. I expect it to be finished by sundown tomorrow.” he mewed as he dismissed his apprentice.

Drizzlekit exited the Nursery in a fiery temper that morning. He’d been so bored for the past few moons, cooped up in the nursery in his lonesome, no “friends” to talk to and manipulate into doing his dirty work, nothing. Drizzlekit really was beginning to doubt that he’d ever begin his apprentice training and start on his path to becoming RiverClan’s leader. Hopefully his doubts were misplaced, as StarClan knew RiverClan needed a better leader than it had, Skystar was mediocre compared to the leader Drizzlekit was going to be.
RiverClan really lost an exceptional actor when Drizzlekit set his sights on leadership, because just as quickly as his bad mood settled, he erased every hint of it from his features, making him appear all lackadaisical and playful, like a kit was supposed to be. Drizzlekit was already a master manipulator, even at so young an age, and he was quite proud of his abilities.
He sat down in the center of the clearing and plastered a thoughtless, kit-like grin on his face. He retrieved a moss ball from somewhere nearby and began to play with it, causing as much noise as possible as he attempted to draw cats over and into his grip. Hopefully whomever he got to come over wouldn’t be too dim witted, Drizzlekit couldn’t bear talking to someone of dismally lower intellect.

Robinkit jumped off her small rock she was laying on, seeing the tom put up his facade. She walked over, she had just finished grooming her mainly red pelt, she had a spotted white, black, brown, and red face, and black paws and ears.
"Stop that, you look like every other brainless kit I've met, and to be honest, it's actually quite annoying because I know you aren't like them, mainly just looking for attention, right?" She said a smirk plastered onto her face. This kit could make a good allay.
Robinkit didn't give him any chance to respond before continuing,"Really quite a pathetic sight, what are you? A newborn? You lost you're mom or something?" Robinkit snickered. God how she loved making fun of some of the other kits. The truth was, first meet, she would be mean no matter, but once you would get to know her, she was the equivalent of an angel. She preferred to test your boundaries for a couple of days, sometimes even moons. She found it funny to see some of the kits slowly break under the pressure of her insults.
She was getting a bit tired of that though, she hoped this one lasted longer, maybe even long enough to see her angelic side, as her parent called it. She hoped he would last that long at least.
Robinkit sat down in her favorite spot, on top of a large rock, it wasn't quite like the leader's spot she didn't think, but she liked, and would gladly claw off any cat's face that disagreed with her.
She would also probably claw your face if you tried to be extra friendly with her, that's just how she was. She didn't need anyone to live her life, and she honestly thought she would be better off without anyone else. Of course, once you got to know her, she was pretty nice. But you would have to deal with her fox dung for about 3 days before she would warm up to you.
Usually by the first day, most of her insults would die down, and you might even be able to have a normal conversation with her, but she would still throw a few at you for the next few days, just not as many as the first time you would meet her.
By the third day she would be nicer than your best friend, but that meant dealing with insults and mean comments for a couple of days.
Deep in thought, she didn't realize that the sun had been blocked out by a large fragment of a cloud, it would be a good few minutes before the sun was back out warming her fur again.
She let out a sight and rested her chin on her paws.

There was a hole in the walls of the nursery, conveniently in a perfect angle of the sun to shine directly onto his nest. It wasn't a large hole, but enough to thoroughly piss the sleek tom off. So, taking this as a sign to get his ass out of the nursery, he made the tough decision to head out into the clearing. During the day, where there would be even more sun. Blegh.
It was common knowledge among most of the kits how much Lichenkit disliked the sun. Loathed it, even. If he could spend every day crouched in the comfort of the darkness, he would gladly take it. But alas, that wasn't the case. Still, things would only get worse when he became an apprentice, so for now he had to relish his last moon or two of freedom.
Glancing up, he noticed a kit perched upon a rock, clearly enjoying the sun warming her pelt. He scoffed, but didn't dwell on it for long. He simply walked straight past her, head lowered and tail flicking behind him as he did his best to look mysterious and troubled.
Hollowkit laid on their side, soaking up the sun. They were nearly 2 moons old, yet they still had no friends. They had always thought the warriors were scary, and the elders, as much guilt they felt to say it, smelled like the rotten squirrel Hollowkit ate that one time.
The black and brown kitten lazily scanned the clearing, keeping their head down when they saw any warriors. They set their sights on a rather noisy kit, a grey tom with an.. oddly blank expression, who was playing with a ball of moss.
Hollowkit flipped over onto their stomach, getting to their feet and walking towards them. Their head lowered any time a warrior walked past.
They lingered a few tail-lengths away from the Drizzlekit, as if reconsidering talking to them. Then, timidly, the fluffy kitten approached them. "Uh.. hi- Drizzlekit." Hollowkit pawed at the dirt absentmindedly, portraying his timidness. "Can I play with you?" @Willowfern
The grand actor turned his head, examining the newcomer minutely, instantly able to tell that Hollowkit was a cat who was shy and would be easy to manipulate, they were also younger than Drizzlekit, so that was a plus on his side. “Why, sure!” Drizzlekit squeaked, tossing over the mossball so that it rolled to a halt at Hollowkit’s paws, “I’d love to play with you! Playing is so fun, y’know? I really like it!”
He pulled himself to his paws, straightening out his fur a bit and pulling out a scrap of moss that had tangled itself in his shoulder fluff. Drizzlekit may be a good actor, but it was impossible to act like he didn’t mind getting dirty, dirt was… feh. ”Toss it to me! Toss it to me!”

Ah, this one was more perceptive that Drizzlekit liked. His role dropped momentarily as he turned his stony, cold face upon his clanmate Robinkit, “Careful,” He muttered to her darkly, just loud enough for her to hear, but quiet enough that no one in camp would hear him breaking character for the first time ever, “Bullying is not something I tolerate, in or out of the act.”
Then, his face melted back into that easygoing kit that the clan recognized, and all traces of tension and warning disappeared like mist in the sunlight, gone and untraceable, even by masters. “Brainless? Golly, you aren’t very happy, are you? Are your mama and dada mean to you? You sound quite like you’re the one looking for attention! It’s not cool to be mean, y’know. That’s what the queens say, anyway!” He meowed, dropping the mossball and letting it roll away, forgotten. He hid his own insults in the seemingly innocent words of his character, and he felt a twang of joy for every double-meaning he slid in. This Robinkit had chosen the wrong victim, this one fought back, and it was almost impossible to stick anything on him.
He listened with little interest to the she-cats insults, as they were lacking creativity and zest, and they were quite sophomoric. Drizzlekit could do better, and he was disappointed in Robinkit’s poor show. ”Actually, I’m five and a half moons old! And yes, I never did get to know my parents, but the little time I spent with them has molded me into the cat I am today! I’m proud to be their son!” He squeaked, adding a hint of this morning’s fury into his words, even though he wasn’t passionate about the words he spoke.
Drizzlekit disliked this kit right off the bat, she was overconfident, snarky, mean, and her insults were mediocre at best, she was an awful actress, and Drizzlekit was sure that she wouldn’t improve as time went on. “How old are you, anyway? It doesn’t make sense to call me a newborn, especially since you’re probably a bit younger than me, right?” He asked, his words dripping with honey to hide his growing contempt for this foul kitten.

"Y-yeah, me too!" Hollowkit was taken off guard by how outgoing the kit was, but it was a good kind of surprise. Hollowkit was about to kick the mossball back, but then they saw Robinkit cut in. They looked between Drizzlekit and Robinkit. His ears flattened as the cats exchanged words. Once they were done, the smaller kit took a step forward, looking at the latter. "..hey! Don't call them pathetic!" Hollowkit squeaked at Robinkit, Drizzlekits words touching him, however fake they were. "Thats not nice!" Hollowkit added, after a bit of hesitation. It felt nice to be able to add to something somebody else said, instead of having to talk by themself. Having friends was nice, if they could call Drizzlekit that- and he didn't want Robinkit making his 'friend' sad. @Wintersun @Willowfern ((I think im gonna make hollowkit a he/they, i keep accidentally misgendering my own oc

Sparkstep steamed out of the nursery, carrying moss. He was to refill the moss with water so the queens and kits could drink. He shoved the moss into the little puddle (A CLEAN ONE!) by camp before padding back. Dropping it off, then it was him time! He had to groom every bit of his orange coat, spotless! He was labelled as an ‘narcissist’. He moved onto his face, caressing every fold, then to his flank, every tick rooted out. By the time the sun was high in the sky, he was pure. He harrumphed and got up, tail high in the air.
