Sprinting out of the apprentices den with a long legged , thin she-cat. Skidding to a stop , a bit of dust managed to be kicked up into the air , causing the she-cats ears to twitch , a moment later she let out a sneeze. “Stupid dirt , dust! Whatever it is!” Fleapaw snapped to nobody in particular , slamming a paw onto the ground. Following that action , she felt her paw ache for several minutes. “And stupid ground too!!” She hissed , narrowing her eyes towards the ground with a look of hatred. She stared at the ground with that look for what seemed like forever before looking up once again , eyes scanning the clearing for someone , anyone to talk to. Oh! Maybe Duskblossom? She wasn't sure where she was though...she could be in the warriors den , or the territory , or at the borders , or basically anywhere! Well , then. Talking to Duskblossom was off of the list , then. She didn't want to spend all that time looking for the warrior.

Instead , her gaze landed directly onto a feline not too far away. The apprentice felt a grin start to appear as she let out a slight snicker. Turning around , Fleapaw trotted a long ways behind her fellow clanmate , just far enough that nothing would seem suspicious. She then dropped into a crouch , similar to one that you would use when hunting , stalking up behind the fawn brown cat. Her tail flicked slightly once she had crept up close behind the fellow apprentice , she quickly leapt beside the cat and jumped in front of them. “BOO!” Fleapaw yelled , staring at them with wide eyes which matched her equally wide grin. “I scared you! Didn't I? I know I did , because I'm the best. That includes being the best at sneaking up on others!”

This elder, if that was what he was, was so weird! Or was that just an old cat thing. Yeah probably. Beechkit was about to say... something to her brother who was pushing past her but. That whole train of thought was gone. It was replaced by sudden fear, terroir even. Why?
A snarl so loud it made her fur stand on end a whimper escaping her. Shortly following the huge frame of Foxbit barreling her over. Grabbing her brother in his jaws. She let out a shrill, muddled eyes scanning for some time of reason.
Wait... No.... What? No. No! Why?! This made no sense! Red... red liquid. Blood, that was blood! Splattered on her from where she was stuck frozen. She couldn't move... Watching her brother screaming and calling for their mother. It made her shiver with fear. Where was Glindingleaf?! She wanted to go back to her mothers warm nest! Why wasn't she hear to save them!?
Your being a baby! Help him! He's going to die! Whisperkit will die! The voice rang in her ears making her claws flex into the mossy floor. Don't let him die.... "GET AWAY FROM WHISPERKAAT!" She yowled, jumping at the large cat's face. Beechkit could see Snailkit do the same but she didn't want him getting eaten too! No! This was supposed to be fun? Was it a nightmare? Would she wake up in her nest with her family again? "LET HIM GO! DON'T EAT MY BROTHER!!" She screeched her whole body shacking as she threw her little paws at the huge cat. Beechkit didn't want Whisperkit to die, she didn't want to die! No one needed to be eaten by the huge cat! Evil cat! He was going to eat Whisperkit like prey and then Snailkit and her!

"Of course I dont mind!" Pebblefall said, and amused expression on her face. "Try to scent one." Pebblefall watched him. "I need to know his skills and strengths so I know what to teach him." She thought.

He wastes no time on conveying what he'd seen Cowpaw do. Even if the little tom wasn't around all of a sudden. "Cowpaw found some sort of toothy Twoleg snare in the forest, hidden rather cleverly beneath some ground debris. There was a thick scent of something... Weird, but kind of good around it in the area? Lives would be so easily snapped away in an instant. "Do you think there'd be more?"

The deputy frowns thoughtfully as Nettlespark speaks to him. He has to dig deep inside his head to recall where he's heard or seen of what the tom was speaking of. Twoleg trap wasn't what he called.... the big usually shiny things on the ground, a large mouth and a tongue of - Ah!

"You're talking about the Jaws." Beastspark's claws slip in and out of the ground as he unconsciously kneads it the earth. "I've seen twolegs' use them to aid them in hunting before I came to the clan." he shakes himself out of the thought before he starts to think of her. "Some of them have sets of teeth others don't, but they all usually have a tongue in the middle. If you touch the tongue the jaws close." Beastspark explained as best he could in a worried tone of voice.

"They're very dangerous, I'm surprised Cowpaw knew how to make them bite without getting injured." What a smart apprentice. "If there's one then I'm certain there are more." He wasn't certain about twoleg hunting methods considering they had to use the Jaws to help them catch their prey, but he was sure there were more jaws around somewhere. "Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'll make sure to inform Icestar and the clan. For now, keep an eye out for any more of them."

Croakingpaw took a sniff, he didn’t recognize it, but worked harder to sniff it harder before suddenly he saw a frog. He dropped into a crouch and crept forward before launching himself forward and smashing his front legs into the frog feeling the bones crush under his wait and he realized the frog was dead.

He gave a nod,” Alright. I’m down for more hunting.” he meowed, sniffing not really picking up any scents of prey, everything seemed to smell the same to him, so he looked around trying to find prey.

Pebblefall looked at him. "Open your mouth, and scent the prey from there. It's easier." She meowed kindly, then opened her jaw, heading towards a shrew.
