Re: RiverClan Territory
Applepaw reached Riverclan, she found a hollow in a tree and curled up in a tight ball and whispered quitely," Night Haykit." She whispered she had no intention of entering Riverclan camp too many memories.
Haykit whispered quitely," Where are we."
Applepaw sighed," Riverclan territory. I'll catch something in the morning."

Newtpaw needed someone right now, and Lionpaw planned to be that someone. He would always be there for her when she needed him. She was his best friend, and he was hers; and that's what best friends do. They're there for each other.

The small apprentice was almost completely silent for the rest of their walk with the rest of Shadowclan as they headed into the Riverclan hunting grounds, to which Newtpaw’s whiskers twitched as she looked around at the new and interesting sights around them as the two friends were now walking through unknown land. “This is the farthest I’ve ever been from home.” She murmured, her tone quiet and soft, “If you can even call the old camp our home anymore..” Ever since the traumatic experience that revolved around the flood, the young she-cat, who was often known to be positive and happy, had changed quite dramatically in her personality - much more silent and pained in every word she spoke, but no matter what, she stuck close to her best friend, Lionpaw, now that things were beginning to change more and more as time passed. She occasionally glanced at him, eyeing the golden brown-furred male for a moment or two before looking back towards the path in front of them. She could see the distant forms of other Shadowclan cats in front of them, making sure not to lose sight of the group.
She lifted her head, smelling the air around them and detected many different smells that she wasn’t used to - probably animals that weren’t native to their land, such as fish and other water-dwelling creatures that wouldn’t call a swampland home. Newtpaw wondered when her training would start back up again and wondered if Brightfluff was alright, would she be able to continue their training or would it be set back because of all this? The multi-colored feline shook her head, dismissing the added fears that snuck into her thoughts. “You think that Riverclan will be kind to us and be okay with us staying with them?” The apprentice asked Lionpaw, looking down at her paws with her ears lowered ever so slightly against her head.

(Yes! I'll have her male some friends in RiverClan and I'll PM you something that just came up in my head)
"Okay momma." She sneezed. "Let's go!" Eclipsekit bounded over the terrain toward the little camp she could see in the distance. She couldn't wait to get there, sirrounded by her Clanmates so she could be warm. Her momma would clean the water from her fur, curl around her, and tell her a story to send her off to sleep. Then she'd wake up and make a few friends. RiverClan would be amazing!

Re: RiverClan Territory
(Open!)
Whitestep followed the group silently. Her kits were chasing each other around, happy to be free from the flooded territory. A light drizzle coated her soaked fur, but warmth and happiness for her kits kept her going. Suddenly, she remembered her lost mate Leafclaw. The young tom disappeared mysteriously, and didn't show up. Perhaps he too was just now finding the group. "Leafclaw! Leafclaw! Where are you?" Out of the corner of her eye, she saw her kits tip their head. Still, she called to her lost love. "Leafclaw! Are you here?" No calls, no familiar purrs. Sitting down, the soaked queen whimpered her mate's name one last time. "Leafclaw please come home," she breathed, horrified at the possibility that the tom would never see daylight. Berrykit nuzzled his mother. "Momma? Are you calling to Dad?" Owlkit padded closer. "Is he coming back?" Hollykit looked desperately up at Whitestep. Willowkit said nothing, but whimpered quietly. Whitestep felt her heart shatter. "I don't know," she admitted. "Don't lose hope, kits." However, she had finally lost hope.

He occasionally glanced at Needlescar, wondering if she had any bad thoughts towards him now that she knew that he wasn’t pure Shadowclan - the tom knew how cats could be towards cats like him and he could only imagine what some felt if they knew more about his origins. Pinewhisker gave a lightened sigh, shaking his head to rid him of such troubling thoughts. He turned his head to look towards the she-cat beside him, her sweet purring making his head spin with untold emotions that swarmed his mind.
A few moments passed as they were finally heading towards the Riverclan hunting grounds and away from the place they knew as home. Pinewhisker, himself, had never set paw in any place that was known as Riverclan land, or Windclan, for that matter. Only Thunderclan and Shadowclan land was what he knew, but he knew that many cats would be in the same position as he was, perhaps even worse. “I can already smell the scent of fish.” The warrior joked, smirking at the female beside him, “That’s how you know that we’re close to the Riverclan border.” Of course, the brown-furred male had no hatred towards any clan and only meant his teasing as good fun. Pinewhisker peered around the area as they finally stepped into Riverclan land, unaware of their surroundings and what was to come in the future for them. “I can smell Shadowclan cats too, so we’ve finally joined the rest of them.” He assured Needlescar with a relieved purr.

Needlescar giggled softly, a tiny smile on her face. She was still leaned gently against him, but she slowly got off and steadied herself. "T-That's nice." She mewed, still feeling a bit thrown off-balance. She couldn't contain the blush slowly spreading over her face as the words sunk in. She smiled back, her tail swaying as they continued to walk. Deciding to not stare like a creep, she looked around. She pursed her lips when she saw blood. "I'm going to take you to the medicine cats den for that leg, against your will if I must." She joked, eyes shining with humor. Her light-heartedness was rare, even with cats she liked. So what if he wasn't full ShadowClan? She didn't care. Needlescar hummed softly, something she remembered from somewhere. She wasn't aware she was doing it, it was just a habit of sorts to hum to replace silence. She turned to look at him, making sure he wasn't as upset-looking. Her mind was filled with emotions she'd never felt before.
Needlescar scented RiverClan, which smelled of fish for obvious reasons. ShadowClan was far behind them, making her saddened. She'd never been away from it. "I hope RiverClan is nice.." she mewed softly, ears pinning back slightly. She'd never even crossed a boarder! Needlescar shivered, was this breaking the warrior code? In a way, yes, but they'd die if they stayed at camp! She knew she'd allow cats from a different Clan in there situation. "Yeah." She chuckled, the scent of fish growing stronger around them. "Of course." She giggled, nothing against RiverClan, but Needlescar thought it was weird-smelling. "It's odd.." she mewed. "Well, to us anyways." She added, walking by Pinewhisker's side. She glanced around, unfamiliar with the territory. She didn't know what way was camp, or what way was anything. "Let's follow where it leads, I don't know my way around." She mewed back, a tiny purr rumbling from her throat at the thought of being safe.

The pouring rain drenched Cloudyfoot as he pondered through the willows, silently minding his own business when a loud yowling caught his attention. The cries of an injured cat drew him closer to the ShadowClan border. Had a ShadowClan cat crossed the border and gotten themselves injured? The masculine tom thought to himself. Either way, he knew that he would help the cat, whether they had broken the code or not. Cloudyfoot weaved through the willow trees, his amber eyes narrowed against the pounding rain, and his ears pressed against his head, wary for an ambush; ShadowClan was not always the fairest of fighters. Cloudyfoot pushed through a bush sedge, coming round to where a small she-cat lay, yowling in pain. Cloudyfoot's amber eyes softened, as the cat was small, probably an apprentice. The gray tabby tom bounded over to Lynxpaw, his tail streaming out behind him. "Why are you on RiverClan territory?" Cloudyfoot asked at once; he stood on the side of Lynxpaw which was twisted in an odd way. Cloudyfoot stooped down to help Lynxpaw to her paws, trying to balance her on his masculine side.

Pinewhisker raised an eyebrow at her, a small smirk hinting on his maw. “Against my will, huh?” He teased her, giving a lightened huff, “Even if I try and assure you that I can pull through it without help? After all, I am the strongest warrior you’ve ever seen.” The brown-furred warrior was, of course, joking around and meant no stubbornness towards going to the Medicine Cat’s den to have a look at his leg, which was still bleeding, but not as bad as before. Throughout his life, he had only been to a Medicine Cat’s den once and that was when he went unconscious from the smoke in the fire long ago and woke up in the care of Shadowclan. Pinewhisker looked at Needlescar, however, and knew that she was just wanting him to get better as soon as possible and he knew that he wouldn’t have the heart to say no to her. The brown-furred male glanced at the she-cat out of the corner of his gaze, listening to her hum a quiet tune that was soothing and relaxing to his eardrums. He swayed his head slightly from side to side as they walked deeper into the Riverclan hunting grounds, side by side.
“I’m sure they are, I know a few kindhearted Riverclan cats from my younger days.” The lean warrior remarked with a reassuring smile towards Needlescar, his whiskers twitching contently on his muzzle. The forest around them was quiet and the two of them seemed to have a break from all the chaos in their land for now. Pinewhisker gave a small sigh and closed his eyes for a moment, resting for a moment as he let his paws take him forward and Needlescar lead him from the side. “Pinewhisker!” The abrupt shout of his name made the tom-cat’s eyes burst open and he swore his heart skipped a beat, before he saw a dark-furred cat padding towards them. It didn’t take him very long to realize who it was and he smiled to the old friend that greeted him. “Greetings, Sproutwhisker, my old friend. It seems that we’ll be staying with you for awhile.” He said and the small tom-cat nodded, looking back to where he came from. “That’s what I heard, apparently.” He murmured, his tail twitching back and forth, “Russetstar informed all of Riverclan once Shadowclan began to file into the camp.” The brown-furred male nodded. “It seems that they’ve already reached shelter, that’s good.” He said and Sproutwhisker nodded, “Of course, of course. We love to help.”
The older warrior’s eyes flickered to the she-cat beside him, his icy blue-hued eyes sparkling and a polite smile came onto his maw. “Hello there, miss!” He remarked, “The name’s Sproutwhisker, I’m an old friend of Pinewhisker and I assume that you’re his lady friend?” Pinewhisker’s muzzle heated up at the tom’s words and he quickly intervened, “Oh no, Needlescar is just a friend of mine, like you. Heh.. Could you take us to camp? Both of us are very tired from the walk here.” Pinewhisker asked and Sproutwhisker notciced his injured leg, eyes widening, “Great Starclan! Of course, that flood must’ve done a number on Shadowclan.. You should see Geckoleaf once they’re free to see you.” He said, flicking his head to the direction of camp, “Come on, let me treat you to a good meal and a safe place to rest.” The Riverclan warrior said before guiding them along.

The anxiety from before disappeared... he had forgotten that this wasn't an awkward encounter at all, she was his best friend after all - and Jasperpelt very much liked spending time with her. Sometimes it felt as though he were playing with a kit - though Jasperpelt didn't mind it in the slightest. Honestly? He really liked kits, but sometimes it was hard to know what was acceptable to do with them and what wasn't. Depending on the mother, and the kits themselves - Jasperpelt had had good experiences with them in the past. "Besides, if I told you I
wouldn't get to see you acting like one of your kits." He purred, yellow hues twinkling. There. If he could just be... playful, more open, then the anxiety went away. It disappeared along with his nervous stammer - though staying that way was harder then it seemed.

Lotusheart couldn't stop her tongue from sticking out at him before she turned her head in the other direction to hide his mischief. "I am not acting like one of my kits! I am a very mature feline," she replied, dramatically. Her voice sounded hurt momentarily, though half-way through it, she couldn't keep the act up and turned her head back towards the ebony warrior. Her green orbs glowed. She was happy she could get the normally skittish warrior out of his comfort zone. It made her feel like she accomplished something. That something being getting someone to open up to other cats easier. Now, Lotusheart just assumed it was easier for Jasperpelt to open up towards others, though she somewhat knew just from using her motherly instincts. After saying that, she was fairly content and continued to pad alongside him. She was anxious to be there already, feeling the need to run ahead and see for herself, but held it back because she knew it would be in vain.

Is coming... Here... The flood... Camp..." She started to pant from the exhaustion of running from the flood.
