They giggled softly at him, kicking the shrew with their back paws back in the pile. "If you don't mind getting wet, maybe you could help me try to catch a fish Mr.Hungry." They purred, looking at him in amusement.[/QUOTE

Peachleaf followed Goldenleaf down to the river. He smiled and breathed in the fresh scent of the trees. As he heard the cat's question, he sprang up, ears pinned back. "Obviously! I learned how to fish since I was a kit! " he mewed hotly in embarrassment, lashing his tail. Surely they knew that!

They paused looking at the tom. "Really? Your the first Thunderclan cat to say that." They grinned, running off to the river, a purr escaping their throat.
It seemed like cat after missing cat was popping up these days. Eyes locking onto a slightly familiar black pelt, Sparrowflight approached the younger cat as he made his curious announcement.
"Well Sharppaw, I am Sparrowflight. Thunderclan's current leader," she stated, voice stern as she took in the identity of this cat. If she remembered correctly, they had indeed been missing for several moons now. "Why, stars tell, have you been missing for moons?"
The black tom bowed his head at Sparrowflight. "Unfortunately, yes. I was found by Blackjaw back when Aspenstar was still alive. I went missing I believe shortly after becoming an apprentice, so I have no training. I wish that you allow me back into ThunderClan, Sparrowflight." Sharppaw raised his head. "May I ask why your name is still Sparrowflight, and not Sparrowstar? And may I ask what has happened since my disappearance? What happened to Aspenstar? Was Dogbark made leader? What about the medicine cat? Is Icicleripple still medicine cat? Oh my, I'm sorry. I have been pressing questions on you. Please forgive me, Sparrowflight. I do not wish to overwhelm you. But may I please rejoin ThunderClan? If I can't, I understand," Sharppaw looked at the ThunderClan leader in the eyes, waiting for a response.
Seeing Flamepaw's laughing had always made Ashpaw smile. Now that he thought about that, he had never saw how she hunted or fought. It would be his first time sharing a training with her, or with any other apprentice at all. Maybe, one day he could ask Darkpetal and Mapleleaf to work together so they could train like this more often. It felt a shame that they hadn't learnt how to cooperate in a team yet.
"I bet Bumbleflight would be glad to do that. He is always eager to help me, and he'll like you too. We can ask him as soon as we see him." he replied. Did he know the route to Sunkissed Creek? But that was a stupid question, since all warriors have to know really well every paw-step of their clan territory. And I'm just the only one here who doesn't know that... how shameful. He reminded himself once again to put that on his list of top priorities.
[ @SpiritedWarrior Let's just continue on Sunkissed Creek as we were doing! ]
//Okay, sounds good! Apologies for the late reply, I'll do this post and then we can continue on the Sunkissed Creek RP!
Flamepaw smiled and nodded, happy to be heading to Sunkissed Creek once again. The creek was peaceful and something that didn't really scare her anymore after Roosterflame's lesson. Of course, the apprentice would never voluntarily get into the water and swim. She'd leave that to RiverClan. Even in a battle, Flamepaw would avoid the water.
"I look forward to meeting him!" she chirped and scampered out of the den. "Come on, Ashpaw!"

They paused looking at the tom. "Really? Your the first Thunderclan cat to say that." They grinned, running off to the river, a purr escaping their throat.
peachleaf huffed and pelted after the cat. It made sense. It was true. Not many thunderclan cats could fish. His mother would teach him how to fish when he was a kit, in case. He quite enjoyed the taste of fish, really. He skidded to a stop at the glistening lake. "The lake..looks beautiful.." he breathed, glancing at the blue ripples.
Featherskies yawned, and padded wearily into the clearing. She glanced back at the sun, and moved forward, until she had found a position that placed her in one of it’s ray light. She had managed to get cold during her nap, somehow, probably from some weird mysterious dream, and all she wanted was some good ol’ sun. She Molly stretched, and glanced around for anyone approaching her.
Nope, no one. She tilted her head, and shifted her body to lay on her back.
Seeing Sparrowflight approach her, Flamepaw dipped her head and sat down to listen to what her leader had to say. It was still odd to not see Cindersky's familiar silver bengal pelt, but she had to start getting used to seeing Sparrowflight's tan fur in the leader's den. So she was going to be the one to oversee the nursery? Well, she would be protecting a lot of kits then. But if rogues ever got through the Clan defenses, then Flamepaw would be the last resort to protecting the younger members of ThunderClan. I can't let the Clan down! I'm being given one of the most important jobs! Her eyes brightened with happiness with the compliment that was given. I was complimented by the leader!!
"Thank you, Sparrowflight," the apprentice once again dipped her head in acknowledgment of the older she-cat's compliment, trying as hard as she could to not look like an excited kit on their apprentice ceremony. "I'll do the best I can to protect the kits and queens."
Maybe Ashpaw could help me if I need it, he's a good apprentice and he probably knows more about fighting than me. I can defend pretty well against an apprentice-sized cat, but I don't know about a warrior-sized cat...
"I have one... if the rogues get through the other defenses we set up, what's the best way to fight off a group of rogues?" Flamepaw tilted her head. Sure, a yowl alone could alert the Clan and help would come almost instantly, but what if hardly anyone was in camp? That was what was concerning. Rogues were hostile, they could easily outsmart a Clan cat (except for that 'Lilystorm' of course). And if there was more than one rogue present, Flamepaw had to know how to hold them off until help arrived.
"Your best is all I ask for," Sparrowflight hummed thoughtfully, tail flicking behind her as Flamepaw presented their question. It was a fair enough query; if they had never received training on group-fighting, fending of a group of rogues would sound a little daunting.
"If worst comes to worst, utilize the nursery entrance to hold them back. It'll force them to move one at a time instead of in a group. And yowl as loud as you can."
Giving Flamepaw a final nod, Sparrowflight turned around and began padding back towards her pacing spot.
"Don't underestimate our queens; they will fight tooth and claw against threats to their kits. You will have many allies at your back if any foxhearted rogues manage to make it into our camp."
