Sharppaw saw Sparrowflight on the Thunderwillow. He padded over, thinking about his apprentice naming. I wonder who will be my new mentor? The black tom thought, his yellow eyes locked on his leader. The apprentice sat at the way back, watching the other cats. His new Clanmates.
A thread of relief forms in the young tom's mind, though the only thing that flashes through his eyes is pain as he stands haggard and pitifully in front of Sparrowflight. She told him her name- but more than that, who she was.
The leader.
Crocus sniffs, remaining where he was as a show of clear submission to whatever she would do to him, and Sparrowflight continues to speak. "I- I didn't mean to...!" the tom stammers. "I'm so s-s-sorry..." But when she asks him if he wanted to go home, to those upwalkers who abused him, he flinches visibly. "N-no! Don't make me go back! P-please!"
Crocus lifts his head as he cries out, body shaking tremendously. "Take me with you! I don't want to go back... They- They...! No! I-I'll do any-anything for you, f-f-fight, or wh-whatever you a-ask...!"
Well... there certainly wouldn't be any loyalty issues from this young scrap. At least to start with. But only time would tell if this decision would prove beneficial to Thunderclan as a whole.
"I won't force you to do anything Crocus," Sparrowflight hummed, attempting to placate the clearly distraught tom. "Clearly you've made your choice in forging your own path away from them, and I can respect that. I just wished to make sure. Now come, let me take you to our medicine cat to see what we can do about your injury and we shall see if you have what it takes to join our clan."
Standing up, Sparrowflight moved next to the young tom to act as a crutch before slowly accompanying them back towards camp. This would be an interesting development indeed...
[ Done! Crocus has been accepted, so pop his info into an Allegiance submission and I'll add him right away! You can also bring him into the meeting if you wish since I just started it this morning ]

Sparkflower - @unstable , @.Stardust., @marina for Crimsonstep, Bumblepaw, and Chestnutpaw
The cream tabby had an uneasy feeling glittering in his sleepy green eyes as he slowly emerged from the warriors den, Sparrowflight's (or was it Sparrowstar?) call from her perch in the branches of the willow. His fur snagged at the brambles that covered the entrance as the warrior pushed his way through, green eyes scanning around the clearing for his mate and kits. A wave of relief crashed over him as Sparkflower's gaze locked with Crimsonstep's, who was around their kit, Bumblepaw.
His purr rumbled in his throat as he reached his mate's side. "Hey. How's my favorite people in the clan doing?"
Bumblepaw continued sitting, when Crimsonstep padded over to them. Crimsonstep said to protect them at all costs, blah blah blah, usual Crimsonstep stuff blah blah blah. Bumblepaw didn't wanna deal with Crimsonstep, they were thinking about if they were going to receive a new mentor. Houndspirit hadn't trained him at all, so it would make sense if they received a new mentor. Bumblepaw padded over, speaking: "H..he..ll..oo.. Crimson..ste..pp.... H..o..ww..are..y.you"Maybe their brother or dad would come over, or Goldleaf or Oriolepaw.
Bumblepaw noticed Sparkflower walking over, it was dad.. everyone was showing up. The three legged apprentice stayed where they were, probably for the rest of the meeting. With Crimsonstep with him, they always felts are with their mother. And their family, it helped them get through their trauma. Sparkflower asked how everyone was doing, "G..g..g..g..g..g..g..g..oo..dd...d D..a..a..d" They spoke with a stutter. Hopefully they wouldn't get pranked by Chestnutpaw, or anyone else.. Hopefully... Bumblepaw hoped that they wouldn't. Goldleaf was there too, "H..h..i G..o...l..d..l..e..e..e..af" They spoke.
Mudsplash's multi-pigmented tail flicked as they approached the thunderwillow, their hazel hues combing through the crowd of cats as they gathered for the meeting. Curiosity pricked their paws like irritating thorns, and they couldn't help but notice how SparrowStar had chosen a new seat, as if she wanted to prove she was better than the last leader who resided.
With a small frown, the androgynous would flex their metacarpals, scapulas unsheathing temporarily as they stretched. The small assemblage grew every few heartbeats, and Mudsplash could hear murmurs of surprised mews and hushed whispers. Or perhaps that was their imagination?
As the crowd continued to grow, Mudsplash would scoot as close to the willow as they could, auditories pricked as they readied themselves. They wanted to listen, and definitely did not want to sit next to anyone who spoke while their leader was speaking, or even in between the leader's pauses. With their full attention, Mudsplash focused on Sparrowstar, attempting to blot out the cacophony.

//major dad vibes bro
Chestnutpaw got up from his laying position as Sparrowflight... star? called a meeting. Thrill radiated off him, and his smile was as warm as the sun beaming down onto the clearing. This was his first meeting, and he was determined to be well behaved during it. Usually, he was a very goofy apprentice, but something told him meetings were quite serious. There was surely no time to mess around! His bright green gaze wandered over to Sparkflower, Crimsonstep and Bumblepaw when he caught sight of his family.
"Moooom!" he exclaimed, grinning as he bounded towards her and attempted to lock her in a warm embrace. Then he turned to look at Crimsonstep, Goldleaf and Bumblepaw. It felt like he had not talked with the two in ages, although he'd met his brother... no, sibling... yesterday. But his brother had acted... weird.
"Where's Oriolepaw?" Chestnutpaw asked with a tilt of his head, suddenly realizing that he was missing. Perhaps he'd come in a few moments!
Crocus limps towards Sparrowstar, though he only did so because of her strange manner of calling for... Everyone. Honestly the young tom didn't expect this. He was almost overwhelmed and the only thing that kept him from feeling too intimidated was the knowledge that somewhere beyond the forest, his own kin were probably just as many (even though he new but a very small fraction of kin, his parents mainly keeping him and his littermate to themselves and all prior offspring being sent off once they were older). Thinking of them, he recalls the time he followed the leader of ThunderClan home.
He'd looked back to where he'd come from, wondering then if they were watching him, and knowing that somehow they probably knew.
A sigh escapes his lips now as he sits somewhere far from most cats. The loner (scratch that, the "kittypet") didn't know anybody here, nor did he feel inclined to try. The old collar around his neck, limp and caked in dirt, stank. And the sooner someone "helped" him to take it off, the better. Yellow-green eyes survey those around him, the bustle of the oncoming meeting loud and lively. He settles on watching a kitten for the time being, someone who sat close to the big central tree and craned their neck back to stare up at Sparrowflight.
And truthfully he would have sat there staring, but Neptune told Estelle that Crocus would interact with Vixenkit, so Crocus felt compelled to follow this divine intervention and get up. Limping closer to the kitten, he shuffles into an awkward half-seated position close by. "H-h-hello," he whispers carefully. Goodness, he loathed the act.

They looked over at Chestnutpaw, tilting their head. "Has to be somewhere." They mewed, swatting playfully at the young tom's ear. "Don't worry." Goldleaf purred.
@marina @.Stardust. @moonyy @Unstable
Rainhound pricked her ears as she heard Sparrowflight's -- or rather Sparrowstar now -- call, and immediately emerged from the warrior's den. She tipped her head to the side, wondering what would be announced this meeting. However, before she could find a place to sit at, she noticed a peculiar smell... rogue. How a rogue or kittypet had made it into camp without being stopped was unknown to her, but she needed to make sure this rogue was not an uninvited guest. Raising her eyebrows, she padded over, tail trailing in the dirt behind her.
"You smell like rogue," she growled, wanting to see his reaction before doing anything. Maybe this rogue had been accepted into camp by Sparrowstar, but she could never be too sure.
Crocus turns his eyes upon another stranger and ducks his head, just as he'd done to Sparrowflight before. He couldn't afford to slip up.
"O-o-oh, I'm s-sorry," he mewls. "Y-you smell s-strange t-t-too..." His voice was meek, soft, and as he spoke his body seemed to shrink.
