Blackpaw dodged the one aimed for his head but not the one at his shoulder. “Um, I believe I’ve had 5-7 training sessions. I never received proper hunting training but I’ve been picking it up as I go along.” he said as he ran past her, turned around and jumped up, intending to bring his paw down on her head in the proses.

As another pair of paws stumbled in, Irisflame was quick to react. Her ears flickered towards the sound immediately, although her body followed much slower. Another apprentice, judging by the looks of it. Echopaw beat her to the patient- being the little Speed Demon she was- and she allowed herself to limp over casually, interest devoid from her face. It was probably just some crazy thorn drama again. Or a hunting injury. The usuals. What came next...she hadn't been expecting. She guffawed, her expression showing disbelief. A cannibal, in their midst? She didn't think so. Probably a story made up to scare them. Oh, how wrong she was.
"So this 'Foxbite' is eating kits? Uh huh. You don't hear that everyday. C'mon, kiddo, show me where this cannibal of yours is." She chuckled softly, tone still neutral-sounding.

Stagpaw nodded, and dashed back to the elders den, not wasting a single second.

Sparrowsnap walked ploddingly on into her Clan leader's den, her yellow eyes rimmed with shaky traces of red. She heaved a giant sigh - here she was yet again, having to report of the dimwitted fights she had somehow managed to throw herself into.

Except, this time, she had killed a cat. Not Slashthroat - no, Sparrowsnap had already killed her - but rather a poor mistaken ThunderClan apprentice. Oh, how was she supposed to even explain?: she had done yet another oh-so-foolish thing. Had done yet another thing to make every cat hate her.

Nevertheless she forced her bloodshot gaze to meet Icestar's as she crouched down, blood-stained lips pressed in a thin, wobbly frown. Her voice was a tight sob as she spoke.

"Cat... ThunderClan ... Dead... Because of me."

The apprentice flicked his ear at the two mollies' responses. He felt a bit lighter at Echopaw's approval and would keep Irisflame's preference in mind. Frostpaw mentally noted his sudden nickname change. It was a bit disappointing - he liked the sound of bird-hugger more, but he wouldn't object to his new one. "It's a raptor, around the size of a hawk," the apprentice informed at Irisflame's prodding. "The one I caught was a female; it had tawny feathers and a streak of white on it's tail." The latter determined that it had been a harrier while the former spoke of gender. Male harriers were grey instead of brown.

Skykit looked at the warrior hearing her voice she decided maybe she could help her feel a little better. She went over and nuzzled the she cat"its not ur fault, they were in our camp which is not where they should be." she licked the cat gently.

He jumped to the side then aimed for his mentor's side. He was fairly quiet.

"That is an interesting technique." the tom had jumped out of the way before he could get swiped at. " But, not fast enough. In a real battle the enemy will not wait for you attack, so try again, this time, try to be faster."

He seemed annoyed and tried it again, but this time with no hesitation.

Spiritkit stumbled just outside of the... the nursery? She had heard a cat she didn't know, call it that. She wasn't tired anymore, quite the opposite in fact, but she didn't know anyone so she allowed herself to walk just out of the entrance to the nursery and walk back and forth a little. She wanted a playmate, someone she could know, someone she could trust. She trusted everyone she saw, that probably wasn't good.
