Doepaw was truly confused and standing there in the middle of the clearing, it was her second day in Shadowclan and not much seemed to be much different from her interactions with the other cats. Not like she'd met many other cats, other than Icestar, Beastspark, Frostpaw, Rosedapple and Nettlespark... That was quite a lot, truth be told. Yet so when someone rushed up to her, she flicked her ears back and took a few steps backwards as well. "Watch out!" she voiced as she was nearly run down. She wasn't a fan of loud cats and this apprentice seemed to be loud enough for two. "Of course... I am new." Her tail flicked with mild annoyance, she had to put up with this a lot it would seem, until her scent changed to Shadowclan. She was still nervous but it had been balancing out with her fire ever since she came here, and remembering the wise words she'd constantly been told, she held her head high, despite her constant flickering ears. They were probably a dead give away of her lack of sight but many still didn't care about it and that made her truly happy. She would be given a chance to know others based on her, not her disability. "I am... Doepaw. And yes... I did join... from Thunderclan. No need... to interrogate me.. Icestar and... Beastspark did so... already."

The she smiled up at Doepaw. A nice name but, she did notice that Doepaw's ears were all over the place. Though, she didn't know why and didn't have the experience to know that she was blind just from that. Though, her smiley face turned a little annoyed when she practically blocked herself off from Echopaw learning anything about her. "Well, I'm not interrogating you, just asking things to learn things about you. And although it's good that Icestar and Beastspark know things about you, I still don't." She flicked her ear before turning optimistic again. "Well, welcome to the clan Doepaw!"

The small spotted cat would pad by her friend, purring slightly.
She didn’t know why she was happy, but today just felt like a good one.

Doepaw was surprised by the coldness in the other apprentice's voice and then his name made a lot more sense. Frostpaw... Icy attitude. It seemed to be a stable in Shadowclan. The only ones who'd even been remotely warm to her were Rosedapple and Beastspark and even then... she already felt much better than in Thunderclan. The blind apprentice was however shocked when he offered her a nest beside his... It might be the only one free but she was surprised nevertheless. Taking in a deep breaths she angled her ears. She was too tired to even bother trying to scent anything and so voiced, "Thank you," and proceeded to walk where his voice had bounced off the structure protecting the den. Flopping down into the nest, the apprentice directed her blind gaze directly at his face. She could hear his breath from his nose and it seemed... frustrated. "Have any of what... I'd done... offended you?" she inquired. It would not make sense but... maybe, "Or is it... my thunderclan stench... that is absolutely... wrecking your nose?" She didn't know what would be the case but she felt like... since he'd so courteously offered a nest for her, that maybe she could at least be somewhat considerate. If he wanted to inquire why she was here... he could do so himself.

Stormfly paced impatiently- or rather hobbled- as she waited for the two apprentices to return with Irisflame and Echopaw. She glanced at Glidingleaf cuddling with her kits and Snailkit and bared her teeth, irritation growing.
Lives were at stake! And they were all taking their sweet time getting here.
She watched Dawnstripe leave and sighed.
Great, now she was stuck with this group. She couldn't very well leave, it would be irresponsible and plus once the kits were stable, she'd need her leg looked at.

The young she had trotted out of the den with purpose, and that purpose was to get Icestar to demote that sack of ass known as Dewpaw. Barging into the den with out a notice but her paw steps and soft hissing once and a while, she stopped, eyes flaring with anger with her tail lashing. "Icestar, I want you do demote Dewpaw." Vemon dripping in her voice, and the revenge she so wanted. She narrowed her eyes at Icestar, not really mad at her, mostly just pissed at Dewpaw.

It was all a facade from the smile to the chest-puffing and being 'pleased' to see him. What had Magpie become? He was speechless and absolutely unsure of what he could do. The massive warrior took a few pawsteps closer to his apprentice before bringing the younger tom into a hug.

Pulling away and looking down at his apprentice Foxwhisperer wiped the specks of vomit off of Magpiepaw's whiskers. "You are not fine. It is written across your face and the evidence is everywhere." Cooly replying to his clanmate before sitting down and patting the ground in front of him with his massive paw to have Magpiepaw sit down as well. "Now, tell me what is wrong...please." Please was a foreign word to the warrior but for Magpiepaw he would learn to use it. It was very clear that his apprentice needed him more than ever.

Giving a harrumph, though the Hug had warmed Magpiepaw’s heart, he turned away from his mentor, flicking his paw away. “I’m fine. Besides, I’m a warrior, like you! And warriors can’t let anything stop them!” he tilted his head, noticing the guilty expression on Foxwhisperer’s face. Had he done something wrong? The familiar feeling of a churning stomach was rushing to Magpie’s brain, but He didn’t care. Being the best apprentice to Fox was all he wanted! All he could do with his boring life!
”...Right?”
Was he a disappointment? The disgrace that Magpiepaw had tried so hard to fight away? Tears pricking at his eyes, the bony Tom looked down at his paws, lips tightening into a small frown.
”did I fail? am I a.... disappointment?”

"Thank you for... the welcome," Doepaw acknowledged with a dip of her head and then decided that in order to persevere her hearing and her ears for the future she would have to tell the younger apprentice to be more... quiet. Yet that also meant she would inadvertently have to explain that she was blind. Yet she had a spine! She wasn't spineless. And she would prove herself. "I am blind," she voiced strongly, her voice still quiet but carrying power nonetheless. "And my ears.. are sensitive. So I would... appreciate... if you toned... down your... voice.. I'm... not deaf. I can... hear you. I can hear... the crunch of the ground... underneath your feet." She didn't know how else to explain it. She had used so many examples and she might have to start reusing them... The abilities of her ears were strange and others struggled to comprehend it often. And that was why she kept using examples. If she could hear a thunderstorm, she could very well hear a thunderstorm! And if someone was speaking too loud well... it wasn't her fault that they were incapable of being respectful. It wasn't like you had to go around and yell at everyone. But Doe would not judge this little she-cat. She would wait and see... just no pitying or Doepaw would explode. She hated it with a passion.
